She gently landed by the basket and picked it up before flying back to the hut. "Go it!" Adora called down as she lowered herself again.

Rain took the basket and handed Adora some of the pineapple. "Thanks so much. Want to sit? I'm sure you're tired now. Swim racing and flying all over." He knew he was tired. He sat back down after he put away the extra furit and basket.

"Thank you." She exchanged the basket for a bit of pineapple and sat down beside him, taking a bite from it. "...hey, rain?"

Rain looked over to Adora as he ate some of his pineapple. "Yeah?" He wasn't sure what she was going to ask. He smiled a little half smile.

"Thanks for hanging out with me." She spoke quietly, looking at her peice of pineapple. "My daddy was so embarrassed. He'd never say so, but he was. I just couldn't go into Headquarters and start flirting with a guy till he asked me out. I had to fall on...a store." Adora took a bite of the fruit, sweet juice dripping down her chin slightly

"Does you dad want you to flirt or something?" Rain wasn't sure he understood what she ment. "Store? Oh the personals. My mom told me she made it a year ago to help her find love. It hasn't worked for her. But I think she likes to help others even if she doesn't find love."

"Yeah...fae of love. Back when he was single, appearently all the girls fawned over him. Even after he got with mom, girls still were falling over him. He never even had to glance in the personals. Would expect the same of the daughter." She sighed

"Really? That's very lucky of him." Rain had felt sorry for his mom. Like he had something to do with it...as his dad did take him away as well. "I'm sure you'll do better then you think." He smiled the best smile he had at her.

"I hope so." She reached up and wiped the juice off of her chin. "This is pretty good."

"Thanks...well I didnt' make it. Hula bob did. More of his leftovers. I don't think my mom can cook. She just brings it home." He chuckled at that as it was sorta funny. Hula Bob cooked but his mom didn't.

Adora chuckled in response, nodding. "Cooking is a dying art I tell ya. My father can only make PP and J." She couldn't think of a time where she honestly had a home cooked meal.

Rain nodded. "I guess that's true. Though, Hula Bob does cook well. I don't mind the leftovers." He really didn't. It was something new compared to what he used to get.

"Maybe I should stop in again for some good food for once." She laughed softly, taking another bite of pineapple.

Rain smiled again. "That's a good idea. I have some other food if you want some. Do you?" He got up and went into the kitchen. He wasn't a very good host. He wasn't used to it.
