Ryu was right....all he did was break Xeen aura. "Damn! He's just too strong. I can't land a hit...and I'm weak from fighting Umbra." Ryu quickly scans around looking for the villian. ...where the hell could he be? Oh well, no time. I gotta keep my focus on Xeen... "Alright you....if I can shatter your aura, then by God I can shatter your bones." Ryu takes his stance again ready for anything throws his way.
Ryu was caught off guard by Umbra's chains. Sensing them at the last second Ryu flipped backwards out of the way and charged up his Ki Kurai Ken for the next assult.

Xeen smirked, releasing the pent-up Energy that he had stored, sending a torrent of super-heated mana at Ryu, the sand in the path being instantly turned to glass as the torrent bore down on Ryu, engulfing him in white-hot painful goodness. ((After five posts, I finally get Vanishing World off.))

Ryu knowing he was able to run or jump out of the way of the blast. Used his Telekinsis to lift himself off the ground high enough to where the blast would go under him. Ryu floating down to his feet...feeling the effects of his power being drained...as well as the pure energy of the blast. He slightly seered his skin. But he wouldn't show it. He refused to show any sign of weakness. But he knew that Xeen could see how fatigued he was. There was no hiding that. Ryu only knew that he had to try his best. Ryu still having his Ki Kurai Ken on charged toward Xeen in a desprate attempt to finish him off he doubled the intensity of his attack once more.

Umbra retracted his chains, flipped into the air, and landed 18 feet behind Ryu and Xeen. He dropped to one knee, launched his chains, and started spinning on the ground, causing his chains to fly towards Ryu's feet.

Ryu knew he couldn't hit the blade or it would absorb his Ki Kurai Ken. Ryu concentrating too much on the blade, didn't realize the chains coming his way. They caught his feet. Startling Ryu, his lost focus and his Ki Kurai Ken disappeared. The chains made his head fling forward straight into the blade. Xeen sword was sticking out of the back of Ryu's head. Ryu had tried so hard, yet still he failed. He vowed to take revenge.....in another life perhaps. "I'm sorry Minerva...I've failed you."

Umbra stopped spinning, his body facing away from Ryu and Xeen. He retracted his chains into his gauntlets, and stood up. Looking towards Ryu, whose head was impaled by a sword, he hung his head a tiny bit, and shook his head. There was a faint hissing/gargling/grunting/ noise, which Xeen could barely make out as "Sorry," and a black smoke began to emerge from the part of Umbra's cloak covering his mouth.

Xeen pulled the blade form Ryu's head, examining the bloo pooling in the glass trench that Vanishing World had made in the sand, kicking Ryu's body into.
"Yes. I could vaugely understand it, however I feel confident in the fact that he said: "Lugi""

Umbra looked up, shocked. He shook his head violently, backing up slowly as he did. He looked around, and his shadow formed around him, and pulled him into the ground, dashing him off to an unkown location...that is the rooftop above them.

(miraculously, she posts.) Minerva glanced up from the ground of the docks, her life fading fast. "Leaving your work unfinished?" She called after the retreating villains.
