"I've done foolish things before," the dragonewt said. "So it's no surprise to me if you speak the truth about impossible odds." He then pulled out his Fire Fang and Aura Shield. "And yet, I continue to stand tall."

The man smiled slightly. "Until I cut off your legs." For a moment he seemed to split into two, then disappear all together. He was moving fast enough to be invisible to even the most well trianed eye. There were no sounds nor any smells, making it almost inpossible to track him. Suddenly there we was, already halfway through an attack on Skyeheart's sword side. He came at Skye at a stright angle, having one clawed hand to deflect the blade while the other claw went for Skye's neck.

Almost immediately, Skyeheart's tail shot up, hitting the arm as if instinct kicked in. The claw was deflected to the side, grazing his scaly neck. As for the other claw, the moment it touched the blade it ignited into flames. Skyeheart swerved around using his aura shield as a ram as soon as he felt him coming.

Fire? The man smiled slightly as he felt the flames touch his hand. His claws grasped the blade, making sure it was not going to move. The flames did nothing to his hand or arm, and his strength was unreal. When his other claw got hit away he moved towards Skye even harder, using his elbow to hit the neck instead of his claw. Having enough strength to rip a person to shreads with ease, this blow would be enough to break a neck. The sheild didn't even matter, all the man did was move Skye's own blade to intercept the sheild.

There was only one error in his attack. He underestimated Skyeheart's own strength and constitution. A blow like that could indeed snap a human's neck, but Skyeheart had the blood of dragonkin in him, as well as their inherited toughness and power. With a clean jerk, Skyeheart pulled his sword arm up, not only missing the shield, but also moving the other arm in front of his neck. The opponent was now attacking himself. When it came to a game of pure strength, even Yawgmoth could not overpower him.

The man smiled slightly. How cute, this creature thought he gould outpower him. Unfortunately it was too late. Having been close enough to graze Skye, using his elbow gave almost no reaction time. By the time Skye had begun to pull up on the blade the man has already connected. The jerk had caused his balance to shift though, so the blow was not everything it could have been. Twisting his body, he let the shield hit his stomache and push him back. Because of his body structure, such an attack did next to no damage. "You still alive?" He asked.

To his surprise, Skyeheart had not even budged an inch. As for his neck, there wasn't even any sign of disfiguration. Only some shattered scales that had fallen off. "If it was that easy to slay a dragon, even a halfblooded one, people wouldn't even see them as scary." He then shifted his legs ever so slightly. Outrunning him was out of the question until he saw through his inhuman trick, but there were other ways of taking the offensive.

"Oh please." The man said, shaking his head. "I have ripped dragons apart with these hands too. Nothing but large lizards... However, I see I have to stop treating you like a human. Thats fine." Suddenly his claws seemed to crack and he was gone again. This time he was at Skye's back, one hand holding onto his tail so it couldn't move while the other sliced at the base of the tail. His muscle-mass was obviously larger, but that did dnot seem to stop his speed at all.

Too bad though, Skyeheart had predicted this. By shifting his legs, he had made his position so that the most obvious tactic to strike at a blind area would be behind him. With a swift turn of his foot, he flipped over, giving his oppenent a backdrop kick while pulling his tail free at the same time. He didn't stop there however. Using his Tidal Trident as a pillar, he swung around on a full circle, providing another kick, this time to the head.

No, he would not allow such a thing to happen. His claws dug into the tail at the last second, his strength and sharp claws allowing him to break through the scales. When Skye pulled the tail, the man pulled back with a minimum of twice the force. Because of the aquard footing, Skye would fall before ever hitting him. The man switched his target from taking out the tail, to severing the spine.

Skyeheart then switched to his second option, his wings. With a mighty flap, he halted the attack just like the last time, leaving no room for the arm to gain momentum. Then with a great heave, he threw himself into a forward roll. Now the enemy would have two choices, either release the claws, or be dragged with them into a backward slam.

His latch on the tail remaining, the man began to pull again. There was a reason he was called 'Dragon Man,' he had been born with dragon blood. The he spent almost all of his life training himself, torturing himself; spending tousnads of years to make himself better. This boy could do nothing. When he tried to rool, the man grabbed onto his tail with both hands and simply pulled in the other direction. His strength was enough to stop someone who had no footing. Two things could happen in such a sceanario, either the tales comes off or the opponenet goes flying.

But Skyeheart had dragon blood in him too. And though young, had still lived tens of thousands of years himself. As his rolled, Skyeheart planted his fists deep into the ground, anchoring himself. The man just couldn't realize their difference in physical power wasn't nearly as wide as he thought. Then he quickly shifted his weight when he was pulled back to follow the man's movements. Then, using correct timing, he was able to use the force against the man by pulling back at a different angle. Skyeheart was much heavier than he was, so throwing him around was going to be much easier than the other way around.

When Skye moved with the man, he let go of the tail. It was a perfect chance to finish this off. The change in direction the Skye was pulling him would make a whipping motion, so as the tail came around again the man grabbed onto it and viciously pulled in the other direction again. This would definately make Skye's tail pull off, and there was no way Skye's arms were powerful enough to cause enough thrust to bring the man with him.

But this time, Skyeheart didn't just go with the movement, he surpassed it! Using his feet as leverage, he burst through and turned the pull into a tackle at breakneck speed. With the man still clinging deep into the tail, there was no way he could dodge a bone breaking attack like this in time.
