Nomia's eyes grew big. "Dragnid is BAD!" she spoke very gravely. "No pae should ever go in there. It gots evil in it that most pae don't know exist." Nomia knew the evil existed, heck,it was why she was so concerned about her yet to be born brother.
"Your sister is near Dragnid? You should find her and SAVE her!" Nomia seemed rather concerned now.

"My sister LIVES in Dragnid, as does one of my fathers... My other Father Victor, visits there Often, I think to keep in contact with them, I've tried to tail him in there and I lose him the moment he hits the trees... That place..." He shook his head. "I don't really like it, but I have a feeling that if I really had to chose, that's where I'd chose to have my base camp for a coup..."
In truth Dragnid gave Alturius the shivers, but he wasn't afraid of it per say, more of what it represented...
Untamable and tainted...

Nomia gasped and pulled her hands together near her chest. "We must save them! That forest ... will ... devour them."
Maybe Nomia was more aware of what was in the forest than the Pae'il did. Or maybe she was just jumping to conclusions?

Alturius smiled. "I'd be more scared of the forest... My Father... Victor... He's..." How do I put this so that he doesn't sound like a raving mad lunitic that likes to kill people for fun... Oh wait... that's EXACTLY what he is! Damn, well hmmm... "He's really tough, and doesn't take any guff from nobody... He gets a little wild sometimes... and a lot of the time it's better to just do as he says... Not sure about my sister and my dad... From what I heard from my mother he's not as tough as nails as my father... Though I really do want to meet him... I'd be more than happy for your help in... Finding them... possibly saving them from Dragnid if they need it..."
Holding out his hand to her he smiled. "Partners?"

Nomia grabbed his hand and started to head down the beach towards Dragnid. "We must hurry!" she shouted over her shoulder.
She hoped they were still alive!

"Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Hold up a minute here!" Alturius tried his best to slow Nomia down. "Let's think first before we go rushing off on our little rescue mission here..." He chuckled a little, smiling at her. "It's getting late... Would night really be the best time to enter Dragnid?" Looking up at the sky, he guessed they had about two or three hours of sun left... He didn't know how long they would be in there... And he really didn't want to end up stranded in some forestm even with Nomia for company... If anything something might eat her... Or him...
"We can do a short little search tonight if you think it's really that important... But they've been living their for months... I don't think a few hours will kill them..."

Nomia stopped and turned towards Alty, her eyes huge with shock. "What? They LIVE there and have for a long time? how?" it was more than her brain could comprehend.
Well ... maybe the taint isnt' as bad in the living part of the world. In the spirit part, it's hideous. There had to be a reason for Alty's insistance they not do it now. And despite what her conscience was telling her, she decided to trust this kid. Who's to say he's beign honest about them being in the forest in the first place?
Wait ... was he trying to lure me to the forest? She suddenly looked at him slightly suspicious and decided to 'play along' for now. Besides, she really shouldn't leave Lethe.
Speaking of ... where was that child?

Regardless of her trust in him or not, Alturius turned back towards the beach. "Would coming by tomorrow, early be alright? I think the more light we have the better chance we will have at finding them..." He smiled at Nomia warmly, bowing his head a little. "If it's not I understand, you have all right to be busy, partner," He chuckled.
This could work out rather well...
