Mikami was good, Entreri realized. Better than he had anticipated. He managed a glance at his claw where the gauntlets had struck, and noted, too, a nick on his previously unblemished claws.
Mikami came ahead with a lazy thrust, a feint and a sudden flurry, leading with his left then rattling off several quick blows with the gauntlets. He moved foward with every strike, forcing Entreri to block and not dodge. Every time the gauntlets slapped against one of his claws, Entreri winced, fearing that the awful things would cut right through.

As soon as the attacks of the gauntlets played out, Entreri sprang forward, putting his claws up hight and rolling his hands in a sudden blur. Over and over went his claws, as he rolled his hands left and right, striking rapidly at Mikami from varying angles.
Mikami's defense mirrored Entreri's movements, hands rolling, claws turning in and out, rolling over each other with equal harmony.

Surprised, Entreri pressed the attack even more, rolling his hands more widely, changing the angles of attack more dramatically.

Chloe could tell she was getting closer to her two renegade Pokemon. For one, the number of shredded shrubs was increasing. Marks that looked suspiciously like claw marks dotted trees and even rocks, as they lead a path that she figured would take them right to the two brawlers. Sighing, Chloe shook her head. At least this might help them release some of their energy, she supposed. Alkaid burbled out a yawn, growing more bored of the place, however, another rustle from the underbrush alerted her to another attacker.

"Good job as always," Chloe giggled, patting the bird, who chirped her agreement on a job well done. The group picked up the trail again, tracking Mikami and Entreri's movements through the forest.

Entreri slashed- one, two, three- downward at Mikami's left shoulder, spun suddenly as the last parry sounded, and turned lower as he went so that as he came around, both his claws tore for Mikami's side. He expected a down-stroke parry from the gauntlets, but Mikami turned inside the attack, bringing his claws across to block. As he turned, he stabbed the gauntlets back and down over his right shoulder.

Entreri ducked the brunt of it, but felt the bite of Mikami's claws as the gauntlets sliced down his shoulder blade, leaving a long and painful gash. Entreri ran straight out from the engagement and dived forward in a roll, turning as he came up to face the pursuing Mikami.
