Neb shrugged off his feeling of the fact that there were sith among the people, and turned to his task, snatching a flying newspaper that was carried by the wind.
"One of the diplomats is supporting a new bill... No.... that's not good. I feel that we are going to be stuck protecting this dude. He wants to push for the complete destruction of imperial technology and incorporate it for scrap metal and get rich off the selling of it. Something tells me that the Senate is going to like this new get rich quick scheme, if it isn't made so radical," he quickly commented while reading the article.
"I wonder what the heads of the jedi will say. Why can't I ever get a job that doesn't involve protecting someone? At least I wish I could get some decent transport, so to make it ever so slightly worthwhile...."

Imperius disembarked, the shuttle along with the girl, following Neb whome hs uspected a Jedi.
"I have a proposition for you, Angel. Since the death of my former Apprentice, I am in dire need of another. I sense great strength in you, but if you are to be my apprentice, than your allegiance to the Imperium must be no more. If you are to accept, you will face three tasks. YOur fate is in your hands now."

Angel was suprised at what the Dark Lord just said to her. " Lord Imperius, surely my skills cannot be worthy of such an honor. Even I do not know what I could possibly do to be worthy enough to be your new apprentice. However, I am willing to do whatever I can to serve you. " Angel followed the Dark Lord, awaiting his command.

" Forgive me, Lord Imperius, I am still a little suprised from everything that happened just recently. " Angel paused, and collected herself. She then continued, with a more serious-sounding tone. " I would be honored to be your apprentice. Tell me the tasks you need done, and they will be done. "

" Consider it done, Lord Imperius. " Angel said. She then ran off in search of the Jedi apprentice. Not having a clue where to start, as her attention was turned to the Dark Lord for so long that she didn't notice where anyone else went, she began racing around the vicinity of the area, until she saw a figure come into view that seemed to be the one she was after. Casually, she walked toward the person, hoping she found the one she's after.

Neb turned down the pathway, still reading the paper.
"hmm.... New evidence proves that drivers in hovercars with cell phones is a hundred times more dangerous than a blaster to the head and firing? The things researchers come up with," he said, reading the article.
Neb turned into a small cafe, and reflected on what the future laid in store for him. Now that Vin had become a knight, he needed to find another padawan. If he felt like it. He still had a feeling that there was something to be worried about, but it was the holiday season, and to get involved with anything personal would be destructive.
He ordered a small meal from the waitress, and continued to read, before snatching a newer edition of the paper from the next table.
"New evidence proves that it is easier to kill a rancor than argue with your wife... something tells me I should quit reading the paper..."

Cale sipped his cup of ardees and grimaced. the stuff tasted horrible, the food was greasy, and he wasn't having any luck picking up a job. "this place is a bust. at least the food is kinda good..." The outlaw glanced around the cafe, watching the other patrons. then he saw someone who seemed familiar. he couldn't place where he saw him from till the man swapped his paper for the one on a nearby table. it was that red headed guy from the shuttle, the one who barged into the cockpit. The clothes gave him away as a Jedi. Cale looked away and swallowed nervously. What the hell is he doing here? he thought. shouldn't he be at the senate building or something? Cale tried to calm himself down. he reminded himself he ditched the Pilot disquise, he wouldn't be recognized right away. besides, the jedi seamed to just be minding his own buisness. Then, a Rodian with severe facial scars and a cybornetic eye entered the Cafe and ordered a sandwich. Cale recognized the type. an outlaw like himself, but one with a more mercenary and bloodthirsty world view. Meaning a killer, and probably a wanted sentinent. Wait a minute, I know this guy! Cale forgot all about the Jedi and grinned. Cale left his barstool and slid into a both across from the scarred Rodian."Mind If I sit here?" He asked. "Yes, human, I do. move or you'll loose teeth. and last time I checked, you kind of need those." the Rodian snarled. "Sorry Glassen, didn't know you were so touchy." Cale remarked the Rodian froze. "Thats right, Glassen Ropeke. You're wanted for Arson, Burglary, Piracy and Murder. what happened? get a little lost? Dosent matter, it just makes it that much easier to collect the 7,500 credits on your head."Cale smiled broadly. "now just leave your tip and lets go down town." The rodian glared at the Outlaw. "sorry Bounty Hunter, but I'm not going anywhere."

Angel continued closing in on her target. " Excuse me, but someone is looking for you. For what exactly, I do not know. If you come with me, I will take you to him. " she said. She awaited his response, hoping he would go with her to see the Dark Lord.

Imperius laughed, loud and heartily as he watched the girl confront the newly Knighted jedii. THe boy was still very uneperienced and would easily be seduced by the both the girl, and the dark side.

Neb finished his drink and meal in the cafe, overhearing the conversation at the bar. He didn't take much notice of who the people were, nor did he really care. He didn't need to be drawn into this fight.
"I wonder when Vin will get to the council. We both need to be there, if nothing else, I want to see his first assignment." Neb said to himself, exiting the cafe onto the busy streets.
Hovercars sped above and below the walkways he headed, and he stopped at the massive build of the Jedi Headquarters, and stood outside, waiting for his former pupil and lifelong friend....

Vin looked to Angel and realized instantly that a beautiful girl like her could get a Jedi like himself in a lot of trouble. Then Vin realized that her motives where a bit....wrong...
"I am sorry but I have business to conduct elsewhere and I am already a bit late...can we arrange to meet some other time?" Vin said to Angel.

Angel thought to herself. " I should've known it wouldn't be that easy. " She looks at the Jedi apprentice as if admiring his good looks. " I dunno if an arrangement would made for any time soon to meet the one who is asking to see you, but, if you wouldn't mind, maybe later tonight you and I could meet up to get to know each other a little better... " she said, her expression as if she's trying not to blush. " If you want to, just say the place and time. "
