Naruto's fake grin slowly faded, before he put it back on again. "There's nothing wrong, teme. What would make you think that there was something wrong?" He asked, before deciding to change the subject. "Anyways, are you hungry? I don't have much, right now, but I could go get something for you, if you want..."

He gave a slightly annoyed sigh before loking away from him, leaning back on the bed with his hand a little. "Dobe, it'll just make it worse if you don't get it out of your system.I've known you long enough to know that there's something wrong so just tell me what it is so that you can get it off of your chest and I won't have to wor--" Sasuke cut off before saying it. Hell, he had to be honest with himself, "Worry about you.." He muttered the last part before glancing at the blond.

Naruto felt a slight tightening in his chest, but ignored it. Nothing will ever be the same... He'll leave again... he told himself, but wanted to think otherwise. "You don't need to worry about it." The blond finally murmured, giving a slightly reassuring smile. "I'm just... tired, is all..." He ran a hand through his hair, giving the back of his head a slight scratch.

He sighed and closed his eyes; he could tell something was wrong, but Naruto was too stubborn to tell him what it was. He laid back on the bed to make himself more comfortable and looked over at him, "Naruto... Just tell me when you're ready." he said, which told the dobe that he'd be waiting for his actual answer until he got it.

Naruto gave a slight headnod, and then slipped into a slightly uneasy silence.
"So..." The blond murmured, giving a slight sigh. "I should probably get you more bandages, since those were my last... And, something besides ramen to eat..." He listed a few things off, not knowing exactly what to do, now that the confusion of Sasuke being there was over.

He smiled and nodded. "These bandages should be fine for a while, and I'm alright with eating anything so don't go out of your way to try and afford something you know you can't," he told him, giving him a happy glace.

Naruto's eyes widened just slightly at the glance he got from Sasuke. "O-Okay..." He mumbled, looking down slightly. "I'll... be back. Try not to move around too much, okay? If you get thirsty... there should be a clean cup in the cabinet... there might be milk in the fridge, but I might've finished that off this morning..." He scratched at his head again, then turned and headed for the door.

He nodded and let his gave return to the cieling. What was wrong with him!? Why did he feel so different around Naruto? Was it guilt? Did he feel guilty for leaving after the dobe tried so hard to bring him back? No, it wasn't guilt.. It felt strange. Something he hadn't really felt before. He decided to just ignore it for now.

After stealing one more quick glance to Sasuke, Naruto disappeared out his front door. Letting off another sigh, he left his clones around the apartment, and shoved his hands into his pockets. His pace was slow, but soon, he was out of the apartment building. Walking down the street, he headed for a small medical supplies shop that was nearby. He would get things for Sasuke's wounds, there, and then pick up something that didn't require cooking, on his way back.
However, all the while he was out, Naruto had a churning feeling in his stomach, worrying if something might happen to the Uchiha while he was gone, or anything of the sort.

It was stranger still when he was left in the apartment; part of him felt lonely, the other part sad. Only time would tell if these feelings would progress and he would just have to accept that. Maybe he was just held up inside because he wanted to thank theblond but did know how? Unlikely...

A bit later, Naruto returned. One hand held a bag smelling of cooked items, the other seemed to be a bag of medical items. The blond gave a slight yawn as he closed his apartment door behind him. "I didn't know what you wanted... you never seemed bothered at all by what we ate when we were in a team, so I got a few things..." he looked over to the Uchiha.

While the dobe was out, Sasuke had decided to shower to keep his wounds clean, thus he was shirtless and slightly wet. "Ah, I was wondering when you were going to getback. I kind of need my bandages to be redone," he said, pointing out that he had taken them off to bathe. This was a scene that would have made Sakura and Ino and all of the other little fangirls go nuts! Luckily he was with Naruto and not them.

Naruto blinked... and almost dropped the bags. "Eheh... Good thing I bought a few rolls, then..." He mumbled, ignoring the increased pace in his heart. He set the food bag in the fridge, and then went over to his bed, setting the medical bag down. "I got bandages, some pain killers, and some ointment stuff that's supposed to make it heal quickly..." the blond mumbled, taking things out as he went. There was a slight tinge in his cheeks as he looked back up to Sasuke.

Disturbing Tale Teller Haku blinked for a second, was about to reply, and then gave off a large yawn. "Alright, Zabuza-san..." He gave in, looking to his master sleepily. "Wake me up when you need anything..." He murmured, while bending over to pick up the still-sleeping rabbit he'd put on the floor. He froze for a few moments, his action causing a fiery pain to ache across his chest, but it passed soon, and he continued what he was doing.
"Good night, Zabuza-san." Haku gave his master a sleepy smile before slowly moving off into the bedroom. It was a bit colder in there, as the fireplace was really only good for one room, but he had blankets, and that would be enough. Sleepy-eyed, the teen placed his pet on one side of the bed before he crawled in on the other side, curling up a bit as he tucked one arm under the pillow beneath his head. He was soon fast asleep. Zabuza fought the sleep for awhile, not wanting to let his guard down. He normally only needed a few hours of sleep, but he'd been up since the night before and was completely drained. It wasn't long before he lost the battle and fell asleep.

Sasuke gave a simple nod and sat on the end of the bed, waiting to be patched up. Was Naruto feeling sick? He looked a bit flushed, but his face was redder than normal... A fever maybe? He'd have to check after he was bandaged properly.
