Ain't they? Mine just recently got her hair trimmed short for the summer too, so no massive shedding or dealing with brushing.
xD Besides, she couldn't see... >> Not that the hair was much of a problem though... -thinks her dog is going blind-
But I've got another, a German shorthaired pointer, who.. >> God, you pet her once and she will nudge and lift you hand for EVER to get you to keep petting. She always puts her paws in my lap too.

Heh, my golden retriever does that too.
Except he'll just lay all over you... He's heavy and not that graceful. xD
My dalmatian is overweight and doesn't move when you need him to. ><
The other one, rottweiler mix thing... is the pansy. He gets scared so easily, he's at your side all the time.
They're nice when they're not stealing your pillows and running around. :]
