Vajra B. Hairava Homurakitsune *ahem* Fear not, learners of Niora, I was not caught! Muahaha! x3 -------------- Continue to chat in Niora if you will. ^_^ You really do need to learn hiragana and katakana though. Yeah, I know, but the images just won't stick! I don't know, I've never had problems memorizing stuff before, its awful! Any tips would be great. whee

Vajra B. Hairava You haven't actually done any more on your language for awhile it seems. And did you see the Xeigrich finished your font? I did! ^_^ I'm posting it here right now, actually. Uh...I HAVE done a considerable bit of work, but then my computer at my mom's died while I was updating my spreadsheet and I lost everything! gonk So now I have to redo everything I'd already come up with! gonk (And usually I write it all down, but I was on a roll and just kept typing without putting it down on paper first! GAH! crying )

Homurakitsune WORD ORDER The word order is VSDOIO Okay, hold up, let me explain. Verb, Subject, Direct Object, Indirect Object. So basically, in English it looks somthing like this: Example: "I gave him a peice of my pie." (Wow, that's random! whee ) Niora WO: "gave I him a peice of my pie." Wait... "him" is the IO, and "piece" is the DO (a and of my pie being its modifiers)... So shouldn't it be "gave I a peice of my pie him"? (IO is "to/for whom/what"--who you gave it to-- and DO is the simple object of the verb--what you are giving)

Ok people, I need some feedback now. Have I missed anything (grammar-wise) that's vitally important? Anything you'd like to see more of? Anything you're confused on? Any obscure words you want translated? (And I will go find a wordlist to translate for everyone! Then I'll most likely start on another vocab section dedicated to teaching clumps of similar vocab together at one time, so basically, I'll put, say, rooms in a house in one post, then family members, then types of food, ect.) So have I missed anything? -------------------------- Just so you know, I got my computer at my mom's up and running again, so I may be able to regain my lost vocab and update everything soon! ^_^

The vocab lists have been updated ever so slightly! ^_^ (I hope to eventually get a full-blown dictionary up... but that's gonna take a while considering I'll have to remove all the "to's" in the verbs. I hope to eventually get all these words into subcategories, then I'll post an entire Niora/English dictionary, both ways, so one will have Niora words in alphabetical order, and the other will have the English in alphabetical order.)
