he laughed too, but his eyes were wicked as ever "sweetie it takes years to perfect this level of arrogance, I assure you we are little alike." he smiled, knowing all too well that the blood lust ran strong in both thier hearts- he could tell when he met his equals.
His glass was replaced on the table and his fingers trailed the rim as he eyed the woman, it was always a game with him to guess the age of a vampire in both human and demon years. He was having a hard time guessing tonight.
*his eyes coverted her body, soaking in the details, his eyes varied in colour, the one seemingly blind, yet this did not hinder his search. She waited with eager anticipation, he had charmed her, caught her upon the hook, but she was not willing to kiss and tell, as they say. A sly smile played upon her lips, her black piercing eyes gazing upon the rest of the inhabitants, showing interest in but a few, her neck arched, her head swiveling to look at him; "yes...little alike" the smile upon her lips travelled to her eyes as she played with her words*

@ Dark and Madcat - He nodded to himself, she was feigning disinterest, two could play at that one and he smiled polietly as his head tilted to the side and backwards as he glanced around. They looked to all the world like two akward teens who had talked about school and didnt know what to do next. Both he assumed were purveying. He himself was aware of the man watching them, he had been for some time, and he preyed it was not a wannabe vampire hunter as the attire- that cliche trench coat, would make him apper to be...people like that annoyed him, they were just tacky.

When his eyes returned to the female before him, he realised her own pupils were travelling over the planes of his face, mapping him in inches and character. He grinned a little, but staved off the urge to say something such as "see anything you like" after all he had just condemned tacky.
Instead he leveled her, but did not let his eyes wander over her, instead kept his pupils burning into her own, or a half burn he supposed. He knew when people were thinking.
"let me guess" he drawled scarcastically like someone from a cheep movie "you want to know about my eye?"
*She returned his gaze with earnest, her head tilted at an angle as she listened with intensity, her hand idly clasping the glass, brimming with amoretto.
“I do not want to know about anything, I am merely intrigued”
She was appeased by what she saw as she gazed within his eyes, yet their was an underlying source of power, evil, but I guess we all had our demons.
Not many people knew who she is, let alone what she was; except a precious few, she has traveled too often to really be known anywhere...
She runs from a presenace unknown, and yet she faces the future alone, knowing full well what is to become of her. The past, she has no recollection of, no memories haunt her, even inspire her for she has none.*

((0h ho! Plot twist))

He smiled softly at her, a manner for him, which was friendly, he knew what she was thinking about, not him, but herself, or at least her notions. He knew it because he recognised the look as one he himself often wore. She was a lonely traveller, but then in places like this, werent they all? All strangers, all seeking solace.
He blinked once or twice, as he wondered too much about the female before him. She was vampire, it was all he needed to know, and even that wasnt really of any importance.

"It was gift" he piped up almost suddenly, and to stop any confusion, he trailed his gloved fingers across the lid of his damaged eye "from my sire...although Im still not sure what the occasion was" he mused almost bitterly. "still, its a focal point...or not!" he chuckled realising his own pun.
*she watched intently following his elequant moves, his presance overwhelming, his arrogance...she listened, appeased by what she heared..she chuckled mirthlessly at his pun, as she leant upon her hands, her hair draped down her face, a portrait worth millions. Her features magnified by the fire roaring to her right, the captivating flames hypnotising all who watched to closely, as she struggled to recall any significant thoughts that would be the key to her memory* "it would seem that your sire left a mark that you will not soon forget....lucky for you that you remember the events that enrolled within your past...lucky for you..*she uttered beneath her breath,*

((okay for ease I'm going to kind of split myself in two- I'm the first to admit its annoying when people are everywhere in RP's but this isnt going to work well if I dont, or at least, its going to be confusing! Thanks))

He wished for a moment that he had been blessed with the rennaisance skills that his time spoke of, that he had had the essence and fervour and patience to be able to paint- he could have spent hours mapping her porceline features, putting oils to canvas to study the dapple of light play on her face from the fire which although warm and inviting itself, only served to make her seem all the more dark. Her hair hung in a satin curtain around her face, her brows arched perfectly and the fire to her right refelcted in those eyes. He was not however, he had never had the patience to stand there, or to study, never had the will to work or observe the simple beauties around him. When he had become a denisin of the night however, his sight had changed, or perhaps it was only his perception that had altered, seeing things from the other side, but somehting as simple as a crying child seemed so bittery beautiful to him in those first months he could have wept himself. He wondered breifly if he should try and take up sketching.
He smiled softly to himself trying to shake the stray thoughts and concentrate on what the darkling before him was saying, the sounds her lips were forming. What he heard was not as delighting as the picture he had formed in his mind and that had presented itself before him. Yes, that melancholy in her eyes was captivating, but the words...he shook his head
"lucky?" he almost spat out in bitter tones "no" he stated simply "trust me, I would rather not remember my sire than to remember him like this" his lips twisted into some unreadable expression of distaste- he had already said too much.

"Bad mom you had." Loki smirked and sat up slowly. The tattoo at the side looked like it was beating like a real heart, yet still black as the night.
"So you do still need a lesson ne..." Loki voice was one that could be mistaken with famous singers. It was soft, the tone was just right for a male singer. But that was not what he was, he even hated singing and what sounded like it, this was also why Seti had took the guitar back into his body before Loki could even try to demolisch it.
He jumped down from the counter. He saw that Kirus was still with the woman he had been before. His smirk went into a evil grin. He did not care about the woman being there. He walked up to Kirus slowly and stopped only a meter away from him. His black orbs where fixed on the one good eye Kirus still had. "Need lessons at other things too..boy?" He let his black eyes wander over Kirus form, though he had always been thee watching along with Setis eyes, but he just couldn't resist to see for himself.

((okay for ease I'm going to kind of split myself in two- I'm the first to admit its annoying when people are everywhere in RP's but this isnt going to work well if I dont, or at least, its going to be confusing! Thankies))

Kirus' eyes fixed to the demon, though they were ever allert, he knew both from experience and telling how dangerous and unpredictable Loki was- in some ways he thought he was more like Loki himself than Seti would ever realise. He wondered for a moment, why it was that Seti hated Loki so much yet readily talked to Kirus.
The sinues of the demon's body moved with him as if tar or lava as he seemingly stalked towards Kirus. That voice as sweet as poison honey, as thick and deadly also. Its tones seemed to reverberate around him like swarming or smoke curling, it made his lips twitch a little, he could grin at this one, could locate the evil inside and thrive on it, refelct it. He wasnt sure if he dared. Some days he wished that his demon was as seperate, that he could act in complete malice without taking blame- the idea thrilled him.
Loki stopped close enough that Kirus could scent the burnt umber of wiked intent on the air- close enough that he could trace the dancing melee in those eyes blacker than night.
It was enough, those words to both make him grin inconciveably, fangs flashing like medals, and to make him angry beyond content, "boy?" he questioned, his voice as smooth as he had been taught to speak as a child, his tones obviously french, his eyebrow raised in question "do not patronise me" he cast off before making to turn away, feigning uncaring.
Yes he had noticed that gaze, yes it made him want to make comments that would slay a nun but this was different- and casting ideas of 'lessons' from his mind something he had to pretend wasnt there at all.

Aya watched as the Aly nearly dragged a different girl over to the table at which he sat. At the introduction, he stood and bowed in his normally fluid manner, no motion wasted.

"A pleasure to meet you, I am sure..." He said, his red eyes closed to the newcomer.
*It took a while for spirit to focus on what had just happened, she had just been dragged half way across the room by her friend, and then there was the fact that Aly was actually there. She was a little suspicious about Aly’s happy mood, at such a time and all, but then she remembered that they weren’t alone and she turned towards the boy, her golden eyes studying him* “Thank you, it’s a pleasure to meet you as well” she replied as she offered her hand to him, “I’m Spirit, as Aly said.”

*Aly's expression became anxious and she glanced nervously at Aya. She had hoped that he didn't mind the sudden newcomer. Noticing quickly that his red eyes had closed, she immediately began to regret her choice. She sat down quietly as Spirit introduced herself once again and sipped her drink. After a few moments she glanced back up to look at Aya with pleading eyes, she had not seen her friend since she was ten, the horrible year that took her away from her family, and desperately wanted them to get along*
Aya took the hand proffered and shook it, though it was not what he would normally have done. Now his red eyes were clearly visible, and the nearly shone with their own light. His feline-esque smirk played across his face.

"I am not used to introductions being performed for me..."

*Aly couldn't help herself, she began to laugh. It was not just that she was relieved, but she was so grateful towards Aya. After she finished settling herself down, she sighed in relief. She probably should have let Aya introduce himself, but it was spur of the moment. She could feel Spirit's stare at her, and she knew she must have been wondering about why she was so joyful, especially since the anniversary was arriving shortly. Aly lifted her gaze to Spirit and looked at her for a moment, her eyes unreadable. Finally deciding what to do, she gave a short shrug. Hoping that her response would lead Spirit off of her questions, she returned her gaze back to Aya, pleased to see a light in his eyes* "I probably should have let you introduced yourself," Aly replied with a grin on her face.

*Spirit leaned against the back of her chair, stretching her arms behind her; it had been a while since she last rested. She noticed Aly’s shrug and a little of her worry slipped her mind, but not all of it. She eyed Aya again but did not speak, she didn’t want to interrupt anything that they might have been talking about, seeing Aly again was good enough for her*

Aya shrugged with a dissmissive air. Aly's suddenly exuberent manner was enough to clear away the small discomfort.

"It is fine, you need not worry about it..."

*Aly beamed at both of them. She could not contain her excitement. Thinking for a moment, she knew that she had to keep their minds, especially Spirit's mind, off of the questions that they had for her. She didn't prefer to go back to the topic that she and Aya had been talking about before, and she still knew that Spirit had to be curious. Bending her head toward her drink, she notice that her glass was empty. Pouting for a moment, she excused herself and headed toward the bar, hoping to receive a refill. She also wished that her absence might spark a conversation, if it was not possible, she would hurry back*

He didn't really knew who was the oldest one here right now. But he was old and sly enough to make his way out of whatever situation.
He was currently still letting his eyes wander over the others form. Bad thing Seti had not done what he wanted to do. Yet maybe the honor was still his. He grinned, one of pure evil, evil without caring of something else. He could get killed just for the grin and even then he would not care about the bodies owner. Seti was nothing to him than a mere puppet that kept up his usable body.
"So...boy...You think you don't need a lesson..Thats fine, thats fine. Suit yourself." The black orbs where still like before, but there was something about his form or eyes that was dangerous far beond how he had been before. He was even thinking about killing Kirus just for the fun. And then in the end let Seti take on the people who wanted Kirus killer dead. How nice his small plan was. And above all, what would Kirus do, kill Loki and also kill Seti? His mind spin was perfect. He laughed a bit louder than before. Already enjoying what still had to happen, but first he needed to find out if Kirus would take on a fun lesson.

Oh god that grin- it was like absinthe and tar, like blood and sex and the most potent drugs. It was as if Cain had murdered Abel only to see that look on this demon's face and it was dangerous. He knew the danger in that grin, knew the churning sickness of the mind behind those burning coal like eyes, he knew because he had seen it before, seen it both in his Sire and more often than not, in himself. He grin widened on Lokis face. "Then bend over pumpkin and let the lesson start." He laughed softly, then moved his long pale fingers over his lips, his head twitched to the side lightly. "Oh my...Now that was rude of me....I do....not..apologize though.." Then suddenly like he was the sweetest kid in the world there was a innocent smile. It seemed innocent, inside he was boiling. Boiling for the fun that was about to come to him. The black eyes dances with pleasure, enjoying the moment.
He had an idea and took out Setis katana. He know how the other loved it want charished it. He smirked and let the sharp blade run along the line of his arm. Not wounding enough to take on realy damage, but enough to let the blood flow. He moved his arm up and ran his tongue along the line of his arm. Tasting the poisonous blood. He smirked at Kirus. How he wanted to taste the boys blood.

Aya watched as Aly retreated to the bar, then turned back to Spirit. He was unsure what he thought of the newcomer, but she was a friend of Aly's...

"If I may, I'd like to know how you and Aly met..."

Loki laughed softly. "Yet you are one, since you don't know enough about the other." The laugh was dark, the aura around Loki was getting darker ever moment. Loki liked to play around.

((damn thats a twist I'm loving! I'd never thought about it!))

He had been that grin, and it had possesed him.
It wasnt the age thing that got to him, there was only one person that would ever be allowed to refer to him as 'boy'. Besides, he was arrogant enough to put himself above those he met and to be honest this demon, this Loki acted more a boy than Seti did, the pure malice and enjoyment in that intent was a child like wonder. Evil fastinated and thrilled him, it was as much about the kill as it was the blood and anguish. Something Kirus understood all too well, even if that side of him was hidden more often than not in these more fluid times.
The question intreegued him however, Loki had heard all that Seti had told him and like wise all he had told Seti. The demon knew he could not back down from a challange, and his own smile was a little on the side of sadistic when he replied in smooth tones "it all depends on the lesson my dear" his aristocracy shining through "I was told as a child that one can learn something new everyday"

The comment made his eyebrow raise and oh how he wanted to grin maliciously at it- but he too was keeping on a mask- smooth and aristocratic. The apology wasnt expected but when mentioned he might have well have said it.
Yeah, there was a moment when suprise came over him with that curtain of feigned innocence fell over Loki's face, it hit something inside him however becuase he looked too much like Seti then for this to be wholly funny any more. He was reminded of what he was doing, trying to get at Loki without hurting Seti- the plan was shot to hell with the slice and sing of that blade however, so cherised by Seti and now parting his own skin. The scent of blood hit the air in a heady mix of sweetness and acidity, he understood now that the poison in the blood was like Loki within Seti- metaphorical all the way. There was a part of him that took the hunger and crunched, but he'd been there, didnt want to go there again. The smirk was matched however, now was no time to back down or show weakness.
He licked his lips softly, wetting them so much as insinuating anything.
"I suggest, my dear, that you stop reffering to me as 'boy' or, and god forbid you do this again 'pumpkin'. You should be able to tell by looking that I dont bend backwards for anyone who asks" yeah he was being difficult and yeah he was twisting words, but why the hell not? "if its a lesson of that sort you're looking to teach then I think your student is beyond his years, passed with flying colours" so what if most of those colours were either blood reds or melanchloy blues.

Loki licked his lips again and let the katana fall against the floor carelessly. "Oh...thats to bad...A really pitty it is..." He mused softly. His eyes closed for a moment. He laughed softly, his eyes still closed. How would Seti react, if he found his arm bleeding, his sword on the floor and the handsome man before him. Loki tilted his head from side to side, like as if he was a caged animal, kept in a cage for almost his whole life.
Like almost all his things this one was also unpredictable. The black orbs looked at Kirus once more. His form completely still, not even breathing. The problem there was that Seti would suffer from not breathing. Or atleast the body would. Loki's soul would live on. But for now he just wanted to play some on the feelings there and now. On how much Kirus wanted to see Seti yet another time. As a minute passed the pale skin started to turn darker. Seti was not yet there, but the body sarted to struggle for air already. Loki kept the grin firmly on the pretty face.

Her eyes wandered from face to face and then she let out a sigh of relief* "Sorry I took so long," Aly replied,"What were you two talking about?"
