Smiles and gives Shakka a light bow of his head before he turns to his own food. Poking the egg/tomato/cheese/croissant (AKA: heaven) with his fork, he begins to cut away at it until they are rendered into bite-size morsels. With that, he begins to eat.

Yet before long he was interupted by a rather painful shock to his head. "Attacking a man while he's enjoying a meal...the nerve of you..." he growled, taking back the torn out strand of hair from Valik's hand and tossing it into a nearby trash bin.

"It is a sign of noblility where I come from Valik. The longer or more decorative you are the richer you must be else it'd get in your way," Judokura explained before going back to his food...

Judokura merely smiled as he lifted his water glass to his lips, causing Valik to release his hold upon his chin. A quick sip, a smack of his lips, and then a reply: "Hmm, that's interesting. See, ...I never liked wife beaters."

He went back to eating.

Valik's limbs tensed up slightly at Judokura's piercing words on such a sensitive topic. With hesitation as if he were to give one final snap at the lord next to him he finally withdrew to bitterly nibble at his food at a loss. It was true he never felt anything deep for his wife, and though he would raise his voice to her violently he'd never would actually beat her. He couldn't leave her now--contract wise--alone with the child.

Valik scowled beneath his breath. It had been three years since he had actually came home. His child would be...what now...four? ****.

Putting down his utensil he leaned back in his chair, glancing around the room at the company once more. He noticed the others busily eating away at their meal, Judokura politely eating away, Vice was probably still outside...Shakka at her plate...and Neko off on the couch.

Valik chided himself mentally for not noticing until now that two tufts of cat-like ears sprouted from Neko's head. He raised a brow. Certainly strange...

A smirk tugged on the corner of Valik's lip at the sight of Neko's ear twitch.

Cute...

Lowering his eyes dimly to his plate he suddenly became intent on finishing his food...

Chuckled to himself lightly as he set down his fork and knife parallel to each other on the corner of his plate. He was quite full now and his stomach wouldnt bother him for a while. Standing up quietly he took his plate to the kitchen to wash it off and such as Neko did before refilling his drinking gourd with fresh tap water.

It was after he gave his mouth a good refreshening rinse that he picked up his sachel once again and stood by the door. He didnt really have a reason to stay with the group...they having their own share of interesting and somewhat uncomprehendable problems--in his opinion--but it does get lonely out there in the world by yourself and Judokura was always fond of at least having one companion with him (even if it was just a horse).

Pivoting himself on his left ankle he faced himself to Valik's direction, "Hey...where are you heading?"

Valik rolled his eyes in vexation and stood to wash his dish too. Luckily for him it wasn't too hard to do for there was no grease; he hated chore-like duties that involved inside-house instruments.

When finished he warily folded his arms and leaned against one of the walls adjacent to the door and stared at the floor just before his feet. Judokura's question caught him off guard...he didn't even know where he was besides the fact that he was in a forest dwelling cottage. Where he was going was another good question too...

"I dont really know.." he replied cooly, his eyes flicking to Judokura's.

finally done I rinc off my plate and go to valik asking "are you ok you seem hurt is there anything I can do to help" then seeing that everyone is done and relises that the new friends I have made will soon leave as everyone does and saying to myself "I wish I could leave this cottage it gets really lonly here".

A small laugh escaped Neko's lips as she saw how hard Judokura was trying to look all cool and how it was ruined by Yaku. She turned her attention back outside.
