((Well that seems oddly appropriate))
As Leon progressed through the forest a rustling began following him. Leon was aware but waited until the beast attacked. Finally as he stopped the mutant jumped from the bushes and attacked.

The mutant chattered in some odd language as it quickly attacked Leon's hand aiming for the torch.

The mutant scored a hit successfully knocking the torch from Leon's hand and extinguishing the light. Now with both hands free Leon struck the mutant with the spear.

Leon's spear glowed for a moment before it struck the mutant cleanly in the chest. Leon held it for a moment as the mutant died on his spear. Pulling back quickly and swiping the air Leon cleaned his spear and placed it on his back as he lit his torch again and said a silent prayer for the beast as he continued on.

After camping for abit Leon continued his search for herbs or mushrooms in comforting silence.

After a few minutes of searching Leon picked up a blue herb that rested against a tree's trunk. With a nod he placed it in his back pack and continued on in search for more.
