I don't know how many people would have the same interests as me, but my favorite book of all-time is called Cruddy, by Lynda Barry. It's a really good book. Then, I love love love Joy-Luck Club, Kitchen God's Wife, and Hundred Secret Senses by Amy Tan. A superb book was Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. <3 I also enjoy the occassional Anne Rice books, my favorites being Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Armand, and Blackwood Farm. ^_^;;

I just read this AWESOME book called, "You Don't Know Me," by David Klass. It's about this teenage boy who lives in his imagination (figuratively), and it's a really interesting book. Hmm, yeah, Memoirs of a Geisha was really good.

I've re-read the same book over and over since 5 grade and it is still one of my favorites. Ender's Game, and then there is a whole series of brilliantly written books that follow it including Ender's Shadow, Speaker for the Dead and a couple more.

"The Guardian" "The Notebook" Both by Nicholas Sparks - he's a great author. He also did "A Walk to Remember", which was a very sweet book (better as a movie, though). I'm currently reading another one of his, "The Rescue" - I've only just started it, but so far so good. biggrin

How many of our daydreams will darken into nightmares...
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden and In My Hands by Irene Gut Opdyke with Jennifer Armstrong are my favourite books currently. In my opinion, manga's aren't the same as books. xd
I've been dying to read Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, though. D; My mom won't let me get it though, because of what the book is about.
... where there is a danger of them coming true?

The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, especially the books after Summer Knight when things start to get really exciting. The tv show they made after them did th books so little justice, even if Paul Blackthorne fits Harry so well.
Harry Dresden > Harry Potter. Yes, I said it...but that might be because it's more grown up and makes more sense to me in regards to how the worlds interact.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman Stardust by Neil Gaiman Smoke and Mirrors by Neil Gaiman Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman Fragile Things by Neil Gaiman Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon The Thief of Always by Clive Barker Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke The Ladies of Grace Adieu by Susanna Clarke
There are probably others, but I cannot think of them at the moment...
