Ashen looked down. She felt tears in her eyes as well. "I guess I know how you feel. My parents commited suiside...it happened so long ago. I don't even remember them. I didn't have any siblings or anything. I think it's why I became a traviler..."

Xander looked down. He hadn't spoken to most of his family in almost 5 years. He had broken off all ties to them when he moved to the city. "I don't know how any of my family is doing. Other than my uncle and my brother, I haven't tallked to any of them."

Ashen, always the happy, chipper one, desided it was a good time to swich topics.
"So...um...Where's the store owner?" She asked. She had been looking around and nodiced it was only them in the room.

Ashen checked all the windows. For some reason they all had key locks on them. Like the doors, they were locked.
"So, if we want out, are we going to have to break a window?" she asked. She didn't want to break a window. She couldn't afford to replace one.
