True its a long and hard process that the world will definatly have to go through. Although everyone knows of global warming and ice caps melting. Venice is built upon islands and something I heared that they are doing is that they are building a barrakade that will stop the tide from rising during storm like conditions.
Oh I have also heared that if we where to put very powerful windmils underneath the water in the two strong currents of the US that all of our energy problems would be solved.

Hey, whatever solves one problem, I'll take it. That way we can worry about the other crap that we don't have time to worry about. There is no need for all this. I honestly can't stand ppl who litter. Pet peeve of mine.

As a hippy - I feel like we should be protecting the planet - not doing what we are doing (which is destroying it)

Agreed - otherwise I grand children wont have a planet to live on - not to mention we arent the only species that matters - unlike what lots of people thing stressed

Me too, of course it recieved the worst paper award in my school paper's column. I swear, my class is the epitamy of ignorance. Really pisses me off.

Soem ppl can't really see what's going on sometimes, so they want someone else to do it for them. Too bad a lot of ppl have that attitude, so it's really hard to fix things like this.
