LP looked at him placing her things down on the counter and walked over to inspect willow, whom had removed her hand trying to make it looked like paint while trying ot make the vial look as if it was int place.
LP's eyes narrowed, "Right paint.... well lets get it off then shall we?" She picked up Willow in one hand and carl in the other and carried them both the sink.
Willow glared at Carl, the glare said, gee thanks.
As they were both sat down on the counter and a rag was gotten from the counter and hot water ran on it. She lightly cleaned Willow's 'paint' spot. "Well that's the dangest paint I've ever seen." She said with a chuckle as she moved over ot the contents she'd just brung up, grabbing a bottle of liqour. "It might make that paint stain stinge but you're a tough little cookie."
Willow's ears lowered, "Eh it's not THAT bad of a stain is it?" She asked not really thrilled about this idea. She watched LP place the rag just under the spot and pour the white liqud where carl's Talon had left it's mark. She winced, trying not to let tears pass.
"Okay All done!" She said about to get up before LP placed a finger ontop of Willow's head.
"Yeah right....." She said as she pulled out the bandaged. "Carl turn around for a bit and then we'll get that paint off you're claws."

Ok. Not what he'd expected! He could only give Willow a helpless look of utter sorriness as they were carried about, taken to the sink to be washed off like stuffed animals. The bird watched the spot closely as LP washed it, willing ever fiber of his being for it not to bleed anymore, somehow already suspecting the woman knew, but clinging to his denial for all he was worth.
Still...there wasn't much of it left to cling to.
The bird turned around as commanded and covered his eyes, at least giving modesty where he'd failed in everything else helpful that day.

LP chuckled at Carl and shook her head. Pulling Willow's shirt off gentally she tehn took some bandaged and wraped her up, nice and snugly so that the bandages covered willow's upper half and her wound. She made sure Willow looked like a 'Amazon' warrior of sorts and after making sure it wouldn't come lose she tilted her head.
"Too Tight?" She asked poking softly at Willow's side.
"No... it's fine." She said looking at the bandages. "You going to wash the shirt?" LP nodded and set Willow on the counter across from Carl. "Okay Carl it's safe now."
She said with a chuckle placing Willow's shirt in with the dirty rags. "Once I get that 'paint' out of there you can have that one back." She said and Willow nodded.
"Okay Carl you're turn. Lets get that paint off you're hands...." She said pausing not sure if that what they were to be called or not either way they needed to be cleaned off. "Donna'd Shoot me if you went home with red paint on there."

Carl turned around, still not looking directly at Willow. She might slap him if he did...
For LP, he held out his claws, allowing her to get at and around them to get off the old paint and metal bits that still clung to the surface. He'd never really cleaned them off from working, so it gave a sort of metal-flake paintjob look to his hands. Not a bad look at all, really, although Sid might tease him if he saw red nails on the masculine-kinda bird.

Willow tugged at the bandages feeling slightly bare she blinked. She wasn't sure she liked this... but atleast there was enough to keep the blood from seeping through. She was more in shock LP didn't fuss than having been picked up and fussed over... well not really fussed over but still.
She moved her arm and shurged figureing it could hurt wrose but it was better than nothing. She slipped off the counter using a 'slide' that LP had put there for her to move quicker. She moved over to where she kept some clothing.
"Willow I'd suggest not doing that.... unless it's a button up you're going to play heck getting that off in the morning." She said looking over to willow, "assuming that paint hasn't come all the way off." She set Carl on the ground and shooed both of them off.
"Okay LP....." She said blinking. She hadn't thought that it might be hard to remove anything other than button ups what with where the wound was. She sighed and headed out the tunnel back to the temple.

Carl scurried after Willow, looking everywhere else but the bandages as he followed her back to the temple, already knowing he had work to do when they got there. The bird shuffled his feet a bit as they neared their destination. He couldn't help but feel a little bit foolish.....ok ALOT foolish in comparisson to his older peer, and the way things were going, he was beginning to doubt if he would make it an entire week.

Willow sighed, "I hope you'll be rested well tomorrow. You have alot of work to do tomorrow." She went to cross her arms and winced. Okay fine that wasn't going to work.
She sighed and moved on to the dinning area sitting down. "It's nothing rosey..."
Rosey frowned but didn't turn another word about Willow's current outfit and moved to get the Orange Mango Chicken and Rice. Setting the table and giving the pair tea.

"I'll get up early to get a start on it, just get some sleep yourself and rest up your shoulder, ok? I'll do whatever you need until it's better..." The tone wasn't demanding, but soft and sad, not in the mannerism that one would think the bird to cry - but simply concerned about the wound and how it would hinder her. He didn't exactly want to see her sleeping outside with that, or sanding in the dark for that matter.
He slid into his seat and scooted up, taking up the chopsticks and reaquainting himself with them as he waited for Rosey to bring the food forth. As much as he'd done today, he really didn't feel as though he had much of an appetite.

Willow rolled her eyes, "Carl, don't worry about me. And you need to eat." She poked at her food using the opposite hand she normally used. Having trouble picking up her food she sighed.
She looked at him wondering what he ment by doing whatever she needed until it got better. Her tail flickered as she manage to get some chicken up and eating on it. Afterwards she looked at Carl. "You wouldn't feel this way had I been Sidney." She said trying to get him thinking about what a stuipd move that was.

He poked at his food and nibbled on it bit by bit, making an effort to at least look like he was hungry - but the statement cut him off and he set his utensils down, actually giving her a look of disdain. "That's not true, Willow. I never meant to hurt him."
Except when he'd thrown the ball, but Sid had started it! Sorta...

Willow looked at him, "Maybe...." She said looking at Carl tail twitching. "You know that's what got you out here in the first place. Right?" She said.
Tail flickered. She sighed shaking her head wondering if the bird would learn. "you better be glad I don't hold grudes long." She said murfing trying to shift the bandages. "These things are uncomfortible." She wrinkled her nose.

He nodded and oked at the remainder of his dinner, simply moving around occasional bits and pieces. "I know...but I'm not lieing. I wouldn't really want him hurt or killed...he just doesn't believe me."

Willow looked at Carl, "Well that's when you do everything in you're power to make yourself a less of a threat." She of course said this because it was true.
She got up from the table having only picked through the chicken and was about to head outside. "There are many kinds of people in the world Carl, some will cause pain to you and others will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside."
She paused at the door, "For those that cause you pain, no matter if it's sad to mad you need to be the one that backs down and tries to do you're best to get everyone to like you." She sighed, "You can't be a good king if everyone is scared of you." With that she disspaered out the door.
Rosey passed by holding the candle waiting to see if Carl was finished with his meal or if he wanted a little more time.

Like that would help. Carl looked at the floating candle and sighed, trying to imagine what Rosey looked like as he adressed her. "You know, I should be scared of you. You're a ghost - and by all rights that makes you a threat - but I know that you're not a bad person, so that's why I respect you. But other Velvets just don't seem to think that way..." To this he offered up her claws. "The only way I would be less threatening is if I were to dress up in a pink bunny outfit and put bubble wrap around my beak."
Well, maybe something that drastic wasn't in order. He took back the dangerous extensions and looked them over. "Maybe she's right though...I can't have my subjects cowering before me. It just isn't DONE. But I don't know how I'm going to look less of a threat without looking completely rediculous.....What do YOU think, Rosey?"

Rosey snickered and shurged with the candle. She couldn't really tell him what she thought without being able to talk but she did have an idea.
She set the candle down for a second and went off to get something and showed it to him. It was a picture of sorts as she handed it over to carl. It had a picture of a guy that was a king but he was dressed up silly, almost like a clown.
