Maverick looked out to her and sighed a bit. he found a stone on the ground behind her and placed his hands together and focused his chakra. A poof of smoke and the area closed in around him because his body was gone and he had made the rock take his place in the sand. He stood there to see what she wanted to do next.

As she she started to sink in, her chakra locked on her and she slipped to the side. This twisted her ankle slightly. Crud...that stings...Pulling her leg out of the dirt and steadied herself again. "Sorry...let me try that again..."

She felt the chakra around her as she sank again, this time she went under completely. She found the spot right under Mavric and pulled him under again.

Maverick once again sank into the ground. He didsn't stay long again as he found another stone and performed the handseal for Kawarimi and vanished in a poof of smoke. He stood there wondering how much longer she needed this done.

Turning in his direction again she formed another Rat seal. Sinking into the earth she searched once again for his presence. Grabbing his leg, she buried him to his neck.

((Yea! It worked. Now time to have a little fun))
Maverick saw her...or rather felt her coming this time. He looked to the ground to see a stick laying near him. He picked it up and gazed at it. It had a good balance to it. And as he felt her grab his leg, he tossed the stick into the air and performed a handseal and soon was gone in a poof of smoke. She would pull down the stick instead of him. He would land on the ground and reach in after her to try and pull her out.

((yea you guys did, but i usually don't ever remember to hand it out until someone bugs me >.> i'll re-read the posts and then tell you guys later))
Rolling his eyes Seiko walked over to Hiro and yanked him out of the ground. It disturbed much of the ground there making it soft. It might make it a little easier but at the same time it might make it more difficult. Without firm footing it might make the technique more difficult to start off but once merged with the ground it would make it easier to move.

Ame rubbed her eyes a bit...that stick hit her face and eye. Ouch...he used Kawarimi a little too soon in my opinion...Rubbing her eye she attempted to climb out one handed.

Maverick reached into the hole and pulled Ame out a bit forcefully because he kenw that if the sand shifted anymore, she'd be trapped and sufficated. He placed her onto the ground and stood with his back to her waiting for her next attempt.

"Thanks," Ame murmered, still rubbing her eye. Getting up she formed anothe rat seal and tried again. As she sank into the earth her mind wandered slightly. Why did he do that so soon? Was that his form of a prank? Oh well...if he tries that again I'll be rady, but I gotta be prepared for anything else too. Reaching out of the ground she grabbed hold of his leg and buried him again.
