[-Popped-Cherry-] I just went to Las Vegas in July. And Phantom was playing at the Venetian. I had saw the tickets being sold on the internet before we left, but my parents said that we would have watched it on Thursday, but we were going to a water park instead. xp On Thursday, we didn't go to a water park. We stayed at the hotel. Luckily, I did get to go take pictures with all the Phantom stuff, and go to the gift shop. And I even heard 'Masquerade' in the bathroom. XD It was a good vacation overall, but I would have loved to see the musical. I heard that it had an amazing chandelier drop, and it would have been the first time I see it on stage. Don't worry too much about not seeing it in Vegas. While, yes, it does have amazing special effects, they cut the show time by a lot.

Don't worry too much about not seeing it in Vegas. While, yes, it does have amazing special effects, they cut the show time by a lot. They based it more on the movie than the original stage show. They moved the chandelier's crash, cut songs and "unnecessary" scenes, and cut the interlude.

I guess this is a misfortune, for me anyway.
I went to get my lunch today, and had set all my civics stuff on the table. When I got back, my pencil bag was gone. I thought for a breif second, "Ok, which one of you decided to become the Opera Ghost and steal my stuff?" Not to say, I eventually got it back from a friend at another table.

I had a dream last night that my graduation present was that I would get to meet Gerard Butler in Nova Scotia. Very random, but I was extremely cranky when I woke up.

No, it's not. But Erik induced insanity is bad luck, in my case anyway.
Nice avatar, Uta. Very exotic looking.

In sleep he sang to me In dreams he came That voice which calls to me And speaks my name ...
Ok, lets see... I went to Taiwan for my winter vacation, and saw that the Phantom was playing. I asked my mom (more like begged) if I could go see it, pretty please with a cherry on top. She said no. crying So I was like fine, and threw a fit for a couple of days. Then we went to China (not sure where) and the Phantom of the Opera was also playing there. WTF?!?! So I asked my mom again, if I could go see it. Guess what the answer was? NO. So I threw another fit. Ok. So the next place we went to was Beijing. Guess what? THE PHANTOM WAS PLAYING THERE TOO! I was like WTFH?!?!?! And my mom sees the posters and says "Before you ask, NO" -sighs- What can I say? Life loves to taunt me. crying Btw, this took place all in three weeks. =(
... And do I dream again? For now I find The phantom of the opera is there, Inside my mind crying

Well, you know, throwing a fit about it isn't going to make her change her mind next time. It just shows how badly you handled the situation when it didn't go your way.
Plus, theater tickets are not cheap, even for the nosebleed section. It could have been a matter of money, or just the fact your mom didn't want to see it.

Yep...
Well, here's my rather disturbing misfortune.
My aunt died over the weekend. Either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, nobody knows... She wouldn't take her diabetes meds, and was overweight. At some point she said she had chest pains. My little cousin was the first to find her. Kayla is eight. Seeing her mom DEAD and thinking she's sleeping and won't wake up is morbid. What makes this slightly phantom-y?
My aunt's name was Christine.
EDIT: Sorry about the morbidity, I was in a extreme state of mourning. But seriously, she had blue eyes and blonde-ish hair, just like Leroux!Christine.
