"Wow... 75 years." Vanessa muttered. She ran her fingers through the gritty sand.
"That's nice. Is there anything interesting about your planet?"

Violet shuddered violently as they returned to the lake.
"If you don't mind i can move of my own free will without having two idiotic humans blowing me all over the place!" she stated angrily, her hands curled into fists and her grinning face no longer looking just creepy. It looked scary, nightmare scary.
"Do that again and you'll soon realise your missing certain limbs," she threatened, then balanced on the back of the bench again.

"Woah. The Ice Queen has returned from the North Pole!" Vanessa said, sarcastically.
"So, Dream. Why were those walls shrinking? Do you have any idea?"

Violet stared at her then a voice whispered in her head,
'If you value your sanity, refrain from saying things that might annoy me,' the voice advised. With a silent nod of warning Violet fiddled with her black trouser pockets and produced a pair of square lensed sunglasses. She slipped them on, blocking the sun from her sensitive eyes.

He turned to Violet. "Sorry... It's just natural for me to make sure everybody is safe, even if they would have been able to do it themselves. Believe me, I get that exact same reaction a LOT. Anyway, I'll try not to do it from now on."
He looked at Vanessa. "Which ones? The ones in that blue corridor, or the ones we just left?"

Vanessa shut her mouth and stared at the water.
"Hey, uh, demon girl. Where are you from? How'd you get here?"

Violet couldn't help but interupt Dream then.
"You had to admit it was fun though, besides, i proved i was right," she added, not bothering to hide the smugness in her voice. She thought for a moment before adding,
"I bet we could have stopped it though, probably something really cheesy like putting the gems back," as she spoke she opened her hand to reveal two blue gems still sparkling in the sun. She dropped them on the ground carelessly.

"I see." Vanessa said. Vanessa stood up, and walked onto the sand. She sat down next to Dream. Suddenly, Vanessa saw a figure emerge from the other side of the beach. As it got closer, she could tell that it was one of the creatures that she saw in the graveyard.
"Oh no..." Vanessa muttered.

"Don't worry about them. Just ignore them for now. If they matter, then we can probably destroy them easily. Violet seems more than capable of doing so, and I've got a weapon which demons tend to be weak against." He smiled at Violet's comment. "Yup, I admit it, you were right."

Violet looked up, interested by Vanessa's worried exspression. Seeing the demon like creature approach she waved in a friendly kinid of way. Looking at Vanessa her grin widened
"Whats wrong? I seem to remember you thinking you could take me, why not him?" she asked, a devilish exspression crossing her face. Turning to Dream her grin looked more sincere.
"A compliment, i'm flattered," she replied, her tone not quite as sarcastic as usual.

Violet laughed again, taking a sweeping bow from her sitting position.
"I should hope so, its my job to know everything, then use it to blackmail people into killing each other...but still useful you have to admit," she said, still laughing a little.
"I've been meaning to ask you, why earth? This place is nothing but a rubbish dump thanks to the help of yours truely and several others. There must have been somewhere else you could have gone?"

"I have two answers. One, I just follow where my soul leads me. It happened to lead me here, unfortunately. And two, I've already been to a lot of other places. And I must say I agree with you. It was pretty pathetic even before you started its demise. I plan on leaving soon anyway." He smiled. "Maybe fate brought me here because it was so pathetic, and there were too many that needed my help."
