Aphrodite shook her head. "Trust me if my pack mates are able to accept some of my other pack mates then people will be just as accepting to you." She said patting Kuoni's head, "Some of my pack mates....... are so odd." She gave a light laugh and turned around. "I'm still trying to figure out your adopted brother, Rudolf. I always feel as if he's hiding something."

Kuoni shrugged slightly and continued walking, her eyes locked onto the house. Rudolf... according to Aphrodite, Fiorenza's other favorite. Kuoni had never even met him. She wondered what he was like.
The scent of baking started distracting her again. It smelled so good. And it'd been a while since she'd had a full meal. "If they share the food, I hope it's something semi-healthy." She said, thinking of the pups.

Aphrodite nodded. "Well even if it's not we'll let it slide this one time." She said, "I smells too good to pass up." She chuckled and followed Kuoni's voice. "Wait..... have you met your adopted brother, Rudolf?" She asked, "You know now that I think of it there are some questionable moonlits in my pack. I wonder where my owner finds all of them."

Kuoni smiled slightly. 'This one time.' "Yes, it does." She turned her head to look at the anthro. "No. The only sibling I've actually met is Mikey." She turned back forward, remembering to watch their path. "...Is Rudolf nice?"

Aphrodite nodded. "I see." She said thinking for a moment, "Yes Rudolf is nice. He's a bit strange but that's due to how he talks. You see he's German and doesn't know how to speak English very well. But he's also acts like he's scare all the time and some of the littlest of things will scare him...... Plus I feel as though he's hiding something."

Kuoni listened, and nodded. "I'm glad he's nice. *mumbles*Fiorenza should have at least one good child.*end mumble* German. I remember daddy saying something about that once. And hiding something-" She shrugged. "Who isn't?"
"We're here. Just a couple more steps to the door." She reached the door, placing her paw on it, and hesitated. Maybe she should let Aphrodite in first? See who's there.

Aphrodite titled her head at Kuoni before whacking her on the head. "You are a good child." She said, "Don't you ever think otherwise." She gave her a glare before stumbling up the steps. "I hate steps....." She said, "Well I'm not hiding anything and you aren't really." She stepped forward and opened the door when Kuoni didn't. She walked into the kitchen and took a deep breath. "It smells like heaven."
"You always say that, Aphrodite, when I'm cooking." Roxas said turning around when he heard the door open. He spotted Kuoni and grinned. "So it was you who found her." He said, "Cool. Looks like I won the bet with Flash." He looked at Kuoni and smiled. "Welcome back. You know you caused a lot of problems when you left." He said turning back to his cooking, "We searched for you for so long and then Fiorenza...... *sighs* It's a shame to see her like that. We can't even have her watch any of the puppies anymore." He walked over to the oven and opened it. He then pulled out a dutch apple pie and set it on the counter. "So after this cools..... pie anyone?"

Kuoni yelped in suprise when she was swatted. "You weren't supposed to hear that." She grumbled pointlessly. She jumped back from the door when Aphrodite opened it, then stuck her head in at a pleasant enough voice. She didn't recognize it, so they should be okay.
...or not... She flattened her ears as Roxas spoke. She knew she should have stayed outside. Her stomach rolled silently at the sight of the fresh pie, but she shook her head. "Maybe later. I have to find someone." She stood quickly, headed for the door to get away from whatever accusations she imagined in Roxas' voice, and to find her hiding place. If that guy couldn't get her a good spot, he was going to be in trouble.
Hey... she didn't remember the kitchen being so big... and since when did the door move on it's own? The floor feels really sticky too. It wouldn't let her lift her legs. Kuoni wobbled on her feet, tottering to the side to lean against the table for support.

"My hearing is far sharper than yours since I'm blind." Aphrodite said chuckling, "Well it does smell like that when you cook Roxas." She looked over at Kuoni when she heard her friend start to leave. "Oh no you don't!" She said reaching over and grabbing Kuoni, "You need to eat something first before you go find this mysterious friend of yours. And Roxas' cooking is great." She held onto Kuoni so she couldn't bolt.
Roxas looked at Kuoni with an eyebrow raised. "You don't look so well...... In fact you remind me of when someone gets morning sickness.... Well I'll give you a small slice to see if it settles well." He said cutting the pie, "If not I'll give you some crackers." He then walked to a cupboard and grabbed a couple of plates. He went back to the pie and put a slice on each plate. He took the plates and set one down in front of Kuoni and one on the table for Aphrodite. "There you ladies go. Let me know how it turned out. I'm thinking about giving Namine some...... Hey did you know I'm going to be a dad, Aphrodite?" Roxas smiled as he thought about Namine and the pups they were going to have. "Well anyways I'm glad that someone found you Kuoni. No one should be left alone in the woods at your age..... especially with all the whack jobs that keep moving in...... Why do I have to be in charge of them?!" He said starting to mumble about Blue putting him in charge of all her "troublemakers".

Kuoni pawed weakly at the floor to get out of Aphrodite's grip. Eh, it was useless. She stopped squirming and curled up where she was, as much as she could with Aphrodite holding on to her.
She looked away when Roxas brought up morning sickness, her face feeling a little hot. Seeing the plate set in front of her, Kuoni looked at it and felt two things. Nausea and hunger. She was super hungry, and that slice of pie looked to her like the fountain of youth to an elder. She just hoped her dizziness wouldn't make her cough it back up.
She leaned forward cautiously and took a small bite. She groaned with pleasure. She didn't get anything like this living in the woods! She tried hard to limit herself to small bites, and was busy savoring it to really notice the conversing between the anthros, even when it was directed at her.

Aphrodite let go of Kuoni once she was sure that she wasn't going to bolt. "Thanks Roxas. Where's the plate? I'm dying to try this pie." She said taking the plate when Roxas handed it to her. She took a bite a groaned happily. "It's so good..... Namine is so lucky to have you as a mate." She said after she ate another bite, "You're going to be a dad?! Congrats! I wonder what your pups will be like." She then took another bite. "I think you're in charge of the whack jobs because you're the only one who can handle them besides Kurogane."
Roxas shook his head and handed Aphrodite her plate. "I guess I'm going to have to hide the pie so I can make sure Namine gets some." He said chuckling at their reactions, "That pie must be good if you guys are woofing it down like that." He nodded at what Aphrodite was saying. "I'm lucky to have her." He said sighing, "I'm glad that's there is finally someone else here who can help me watch the troublemakers. Especially with Agrona out there corrupting Mikey and trying to do the same thing to the other pups."

Kuoni swallowed the last bite, her tail swaying along the floor in the small bit of contentment that peice of pie had given her. Without the pie distracting her now, her ears caught Roxas' mention of Mikey. "She's after other pups too?" She asked softly, as if she was talking to herself. "How does such a wolf exist...?"

Aphrodite chuckled and nodded. "Yes you will have to hide it. You are lucky that you have her and she is lucky to have you." She said finishing off her pie, "Yeah but Kurogane isn't all that great with kids..... or adults for that matter. I suppose this is a good job for him." She looked down when Kuoni spoke and nodded sadly. "I've heard that her son is how she approaches the younger pups."
Roxas nodded and walked over to the pie. He began cleaning up and put it in a container. "Yeah we are lucky." He said nodding, "Yeah I think he's like that because he just doesn't know what to do or say." He looked back at Kuoni and sighed. "Agrona is after anyone she can corrupt. It doesn't matter how old they are..... but puppies are easily swayed." He said, "Who knows but she's here and we have to deal with her."

Kuoni frowned at the floor. "Something like that has pups of her own?" Saying a small prayer that her own pups would never run into this Agrona or the son, Kuoni curled her tail closer. "Do you think- Mikey- is he going to- corrupt others for her? Is he really- like her?" She asked in a twitchy, afraid-of-the-answer way.

Aphrodite nodded. "Yes she has three pups but one had to been given away." She said, "I heard that she acts really different when she's around her mate." She shook her head. "I don't know if he will..... What do you think Roxas?"
Roxas shifted uncomfortably. "I think Mikey is going to be Agrona's attack dog..... her strength." He said, "He is turning out like her but far worse..... I think it's because of this whole family thing that happened."
