[IIIX-Riku-XIII] I got a B+ last week on a quiz,and my parents sent me to the basement for like about 6 hours and there's nothing interesting down there. I love my basement. I have a old computer with battlezone on it down there.

I got an A- onmy history and then dropped down to a B-, my parents are still okay with me. As long as I don't get a C or lower.

Ofcourse my parents expect me to get straight A's but they've never really worried over my education. It's my younger brother that they worry about >_>
Even if I get a B (which I don't regard that badly because my Physics sucks), my parents wouldn't yell at me. Actually, as far as I remember, my parents have never yelled at me due bad grades. I guess they are less strict than other Asian parents. I think it's because I have always been a disciplined student and they've never had to tell me go study this, go do your homework etc.
But, I think as long as you've tried your hardest in anything, it's all right.

I never get yelled at or in trouble for my grades. Even if i get a D(Hardly get D's). My parents do get on case, if i'm not on the Honor Roll. ninja sweatdrop smile

Takashi909 Whatever I get a A- my mom gets mad at me! She starts yelling! crying Have any of your parents yell at you for having a B or A- ? Huuh... In asia you have to study really hard. Kinda sucks... Cause alot of asian's need to have all A+ or the parent's will be mad! >_< My parents are like mad whenever I get one B or C. well i always thought if u get a b ur parents will get mad but i didnt know that some parents would get mad if u get an A-.my parents want me to get straight A's so yeah

Wow, I don't think I believe any of you guys that say your parents get mad at you if you get lower than an A. I think that's taking it too far...your parents should be proud of you for getting a high mark..not be shameful because it doesn't "meet their criteria"

When I was in 1st grade, I was whipped for not writing nice enough for my mom's taste, and whipped several times for not "pushing myself hard enough". neutral
Thats ok, I got my revenge by getting a 2.14 GPA. Take that mother.
