Unsure if how to reply to a question like that Akumu pondered for a little while. "If someone insulted me then I would brush it aside and keep going." She thought of wise words her mother used to speak before passing away. "Always remember the compliments you received and forget about the rude remarks." She lived her life by her mother's trust and knew that she would never lead her astray.
Closing her eyes to study all the memories in her mind she opened her mouth to speak only to be abruptly stopped by the distinct sound of foot steps walking towards them. Opening her eyes to see where they came from, Akumu tried her hardest to focus on what may be in their path. The steps were coming from straight in front of them and sounded like they were two feet away, yet as much as she tried a visual wasn't possible.

He raised an brow, knowing she couldn't see it. "Don't you get the slight bit angry?" Any insaults to him would start an automatic fight. Unless, of course, it prevented him from his goal. That black Ulaya came into mind again. He didn't smirk this time. Anger started to raise a bit, but he kept cool.
"You shouldn't let others just step all over you." He started to actually pay attention to the conversation. He was getting rather curious. Though, curiousity never did him any good, this time he couldn't help it.

"Hatred and anger never got me anywhere, in fact it's one of the reasons why I have been shunned my entire life." She always just wanted to prove that Undulcans aren't all evil hearted and a danger to all. She wanted to change the eyes of all Ulayas around, so the next kind Undulcan could have a better chance in life.
Keeping her eyes fixed on the path before them the foot steps slowly got louder and louder. Akumu was having trouble focusing on the conversation as it was, let alone with strange steps walking towards them. Just as she tried to fade the steps out of her mind they began to slightly pick up speed. Glancing over at the calm Thona made her start to wonder if she was going mad and being the only one who heard them.

"Because of your type? You shouldn't Shunn it. You've proven yourself not to be evil. I'm not sure what your type is, or if it's suppose to be mean. It just depends on how you grew up." Thona had grown up with hatred of his only brother. Leaving him with his family and not inviting him to go with. He knew if he ever met his brother, he wouldn't hold back to attack him. Unless he gave a good reason why he had left him there with his pathetic family.
He smirked. He hadn't known that he had already ran into his brother. It had been dark, and all he saw was a black Ulaya, not a spotted one. He didn't even take mind to the tail. He was sure there were plently out there with a tail like his own.
Thona's head was down and his thaughts took him away. He closed his eyes, and then he heard something. Not very loud, but loud enough. His eyes shot opened as she looked around, yet he couldn't hear anything. "Can you hear that?" He asked in a hush voice. He had slowed down almost to a complete stop now.
The Boar slid off his back, though he didn't care. Someone was following them, and was coming up fastly now. He turned his head to look behind them. Yet, nothing. His ears went down. "We are being followed. I'm sure of it..." He smelled at the air, yet it wasn't on his side today. Whatever was following them had been following the smell of the boar, or perhaps they had been followed the whole time and he just didnt' realize it.

Akumu's heart continued to race and with the thump of the boar carcus landing on the ground she gave a slight jolt. Listening as closly as she could the sudden sound came abrupt and startled her but she quickly ignored it and went back to searching.
The foot steps sped down the pathway getting louder and louder as they approached them. Just as suddenly as they had started the sounds came to a halt leaving the two in complete and unforgettable silence once again.
Akumu didn't know what to do but look around as fiercely as ever for her life could depend on a slight glance of movement. Worried that they weren't prepared enough for the on comer she stanced herself ready for anything that may be coming their way.

Thona didn't like the odds of this. He wasn't to his full strangth, and his muscles ached a lot. His ears were still down, even after the steps stopped. So someone was following them and didn't want them to know it. Well, the gigg was up. He stood there with his eyes closed for a moment.
He was listening very closely. Perhaps they were to move again, he would be able to tell how far that it was to them. And possibly, if close enough, where it was. His ears went up finally to get a better listen on things. His heart wasn't beating that fast, but he was ready for an attack. He was always ready, though his body wasn't. The lack of sleep had made his muscles sore, though, the boar helped alittle with that.
Just move one more... I dear you. He thaught as he continued to listen.

Akumu sat in the silence with Thona, the boar on the ground in a large rotting lump. The smell of it distracted herself and she couldn't get a sniff of anything else in the area. Looking over at Thona getting prepared for battle along side her was reassuring, even if he wasn't strong enough at the moment. At least he had plans to either help her fight or battle for his life, which ever was necessary. Akumu dug her claws into the ground with the anticipation of something about to happen and waited for someone to make the first move.
The silence was broken once again by slow softly quiet foot steps, the same ones as before. Slowly the moved as if they were still in the same spot as the last time they touched the ground. Akumu closed her eyes and shook her head to clear all of the things that could be blocking her focus. When she opened them she scanned around her and stopped when she saw a solemn shadow slowly making it's way towards them. It seemed so distant that it could be miles away but in fact it had only an effect of that for it was within yards of the two.

Thona opened his eyes quickly as the sound started again. It wasn't too hard to figure out where they were coming from once he saw the figure in the distance. "If this turns out to be someone not of your pack, I guess we have no choice then to fight." He said calmly.
He wasn't sure if he liked the idea of just waiting for the other to come closer. He took a few steps closer and began to look mean. His furr all fluffed up like an angry cat. If he could intimidate them, that'd be the best. He showed his teeth even thought the other seemed quite far.
Claws out only a bit just barely touching the ground incase he had to jump fast out of the way. His tail was close to his back legs. He completely ignored his body's rejections to this.

The figure got closer as the steps got more prominant and loud. Keeping up a steady pace with every stride it failed to pause or faulter as the two prepaired for the worse that may come to them. It seemed as the closer the figure got the harder it was to focus on, which confused anybody beyond belief. Suddenly it slowed down and stepped every three seconds, making the anticipation more tense and fierce. Then a voice spoke out, a low raspy voice that both chilled and calmed the two at the same time.
"Back from the hunt I see." Stepping into the moonlight it made it very clear who had been approaching them. Turning one ear back and staring Thona straight in the eyes he kept calm and emotionless. "Looks like that boar took a lot out of you." He spoke as if he had intentionally crossed pathes with the two but in fact it was the opposite. Yin heard paw steps walking through his territory while he was walking his usual guard path. If Yin was unaware of it being them he would have attacked without question.

Thona tensed up as he saw the figure come closer, it wasn't until he heard the other's voice that he knew who it was. Of course, he should have known, but the wind wasn't exactly going their way this time. He chuckled at the God's comment. The truth was, it wasn't just the boar who wore him out. It was the whole trip. Though, he had been in worse situations.
"I've been through worse." He said as he eased up a bit. He was rather relieved he didn't have to mess with a fight. He looked to the boar then to the female, then back at the god. "Well?" He asked. He was waiting to hear what the god had to say. It wasn't the best thing to bring back, but it was more then enough to feed the pack. At least, feed the ones he saw.

Yin looked at the the boar and then over to Akumu, making sure nothing had happened to her during the journey. Upon this she closed her eyes and sat on down, resting her paws some. Yin then turned his attention back at Thona and slowly turned around and started to walk in the direction with which he came from. "Come with me, you must be tired." He began to lead them back to the clearing that they had originally met in. He knew they were tired and exhausted and also knew that Thona would love for him to take the kill off his back but Yin had a notion at the sight of his state he was the do it himself type.
They were more close to the valley then Akumu originally thought they were. But she just figured it was because they had been walking for so long that time seemed to take forever anyway. Yin sat down on the soft grassy field and waited for Thona to catch up and drop the boar before taking a seat himself.

Thona didn't mind too much as he picked the boar back up as much as he could. Of course, it wasn't fully on his back, but enough to keep it from falling. He walked slightly behind both of the others. His eyes slightly closed.
He dropped the boar pretty close to the God and sat down. His body felt so relieved to actually sit down, though he didn't show it at all. His eyes were opened as if he had a good nights rest, and he looked as if his body wasn't in pain. It was one thing he learned to do when he was growing up. To look refreshed and no one would bother him. He was pretty sure the god knew how much pain he was in, and how tired he really was.

Laying down on his belly, Yin closed his eyes and slowed down his breathing. He stayed silent and didn't even gesture toward the kill, he wanted them to rest and be more relaxed before any conversation. The wound on his shoulder seemed as if it had healed a massive amount within the few days they were gone. Yin began to lick the scar as if to keep the cut clean, keeping his eyes rested shut and his mind to himself.

Thona's body felt very heavy, making himself lay down. Of course, he himself wanted to try to refuse the laying down. He blinked and watched the god. He looked to the female with the corner of his eye, but then continued watching the god.
He was being most patient with this, even though his mind didn't want him to be.

Waiting a few minutes for the two to relax and rest some, Yin looked over to Houndour who was entering the clearing from the forest at the other end. Letting out a slight sigh his eyes scanned the area again and landed his gaze on Thona. Watching him for a few seconds Yin finally spoke. "You're quite exhausted." His voice was still calm and relaxed, showing no emotion at all. "What would you have done if I had attacked you?" Yin was curious to see this and in fact had the intent of carrying those plans out. But after seeing how weighed down the two were, especially Thona, he decided against it and showed remorse. He knew Akumu didn't have any fight in her to begin with but he was still interested to see if Thona would continue on if pressed further.
