Kai glared after the blonde as she walked away. What on earth was that about? He didn't have need of a ninja - never have, and never will. As if he even wanted to know if she could do all that!
And so he started on his way again, exiting the park in case some other person decided it was alright to approach him and spout off random information - which he neither wanted nor needed.
After a few minutes of walking at a steady pace, the slate-haired teen noticed that the other girl from the battle earlier - the brunette - had fallen into step behind him. Amida, not another one! he groaned. What now, a stalker in blader's clothing?
He quickly spun around to face her, scarf fluttering stiffly behind him. "And you," he began, with no preamble whatsoever. "What do you want?"
Kei glanced up in surprise when Kai's voice invaded her [rather empty] train of thought. "Excuse me?" One slim eyebrow arched up, questioning; her voice was lightly tinged with something like scorn, but not quite as strong an emotion as that. "What do you mean, 'What do I want'?"
The phoenix wielder nearly rolled his eyes. What was this girl playing at? "Why are you following me?" he shot back, his voice not loud at all, yet it demanded authority.
So that was it! Kai thought that she was following him because of what had happened earlier with Maria! Thanks a lot, girl; now Kai thinks we're both stalkers of some sort...
"I'm sorry, Hiwatari-san, but I'm not following you at all," the brunette replied, softening her tone to show that she wasn't as mad as she first seemed - unless there was a good reason for her to be mad, in this case, there wasn't. "I've some errands to run, and it just so happens that my route is similar to yours." She thought of offering a small smile, but shoved it down; she didn't want to make the mistake of jumping the gun and showing some semblance of friendliness - because they weren't.
It didn't take a genius to figure out where this girl had learned his name from. Kai was relieved that she hadn't called him by his first name. No pretentious actions there. Good.
"Well, I'll be on my way now," Kei went on, stepping lightly past the crimson-eyed teen. "I guess we'll see each other at the tournament preliminaries."
It wasn't a question, but a sure statement. So she was entering the tournament! If she is a sacred soul bearer... Kai thought, watching her walk off, duffel bag bouncing lightly off her upper back. If she's on my team - if I decide to form a whole new team, that is - it'll be that much easier to keep an eye on her so Boris doesn't get to her...
And then he remembered that he didn't know the girl's name; neither had she offered the information to him. Well, that was different, too; usually when girls approached him, one of the first things they'd mention were their names. But this girl... she hadn't done so.
Kai shrugged it off; he'd learn her name soon enough. Besides, he was already a few minutes behind his schedule; he was supposed to be at the BBA stadium around 8 minutes earlier, but he had been delayed because he'd stopped to watch the match between Maria and the brunette.

Maria giggled as she walked on. 'What was I thinking walking up and giving him an offer he didn't really need to use her offer. I lost control there.'she thought as she walked out of the park.

{This is so confussing}
Kai Maria and the other girl already left. "Too bad the girl went on so soon" Max said. 'Well she might still be in town.' he then thought.
"Well then how about that Battle Tyson?" Rei then said.

Kei stopped at the corner for a moment, just to get her bearings. After taking out her 'to-do' list and glancing at it, she turned left, onto Hidashi Avenue. She had to pick up the dress her mother had had remodeled, and then deposit something at the bank; both places were on the next street over, but the other turn-off was some four or five kilometers in the other direction - not very far, yes, but quite a distance on foot. Now the brunette regretted not bringing her bicycle.
Even as she walked, looking for the shop she would go to first, Kei's mind was on other things. Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned the tournament... she thought, frowning a little. I mean, for all I know, he might not be planning to enter; besides, it must have sounded like some sort of cheesy invitation disguised as a 'see you soon' statement...
Then she shook the uncertainties away. Ah, what the heck. If I see him at the tournament, then I see him. And if I don't, then I don't; that's all there is to it! Suddenly, a thought crossed her mind, but she shoved it down quickly. Nah, he certainly wouldn't want me on his team...
Meanwhile, Kai turned right, onto the east extension of Hidashi Avenue. There was a small sidestreet - actually, it was a little more than an alleyway, but it was paved and everything - that led to the street parallel to the one where BBA stadium and headquarters stood; if he took that way, he essentially cut across two city blocks.
Then again, he could always take the long way. After all, he had plenty to think about: Maria and that brunette whose name he didn't know; these sacred soul bearers and how to recognize them - if that was possible - Boris's plan to gather and use these sacred soul bearers; and of course, what to do for the upcoming tournament.
For a moment, the slate-haired teen considered teaming up with Tyson again, then thought better of it; he'd already said he was joining the Blitzkrieg Boys, and if they weren't joining, he'd form his own team. Currently, the latter choice seemed more likely; that was why he was going to the stadium.

Mean while the dark side of the beyblade world Boris stands before one of his men. "Those people were 3 were too weak. What poor choice even against 1 blader in the tournament." A servant in the darkness said. "So three wasn't enough. You are aware of the power of the sacred spirits." Boris said. "It was not enough, but it's fine. Even so I think I have found some spirits." The shadowed servant replied.
Meanwhile another message from the beyblade news was up. "I'm sorry to have told this in suck short notice. The registration for the tournament will now begin all respective teams can register at any BBA center at any part of the world just in case some other members are in other parts a name and face confirmation is enough to accept or decline being a member of a team through an internet connection off course. The tournament will start soon. " Mr.Dikenson said.

Rei and Max then went down after Tyson. “Let me battle him.” Max said as they arrived down.
“Sure” Rei then answered and went to the middle of Tyson and Max.
“Okay 3.” Rei started the count down.
Max then got his blade ready and with his launcher pointed it to the best position to land.

As she passed an electronics store, Kei stopped short. Mr. Dickenson was television again, with another announcement.
"...The registration for the tournament will now begin." the dumpy man was saying. "Prospective teams may sign up at any BBA center. In case other members are in some other part of the world, a name and face confirmation will be enough, provided said absent blader accepts being a team member. Confirmation will be conducted via internet. Don't forget, the tournament will start soon."
Kei blew some of her bangs out of her eyes. She hadn't even thought about teams yet; she'd been hoping she'd be recruited. If someone chose her soon, well, then, good. But if she wasn't picked yet and worse came to worst... she wouldn't join the tournament at all.
Man, this sucks... she thought, shoulders slumping a bit as she continued on her way. I didn't show enough of my prowess back at the park, even when I knew those from Team BBA were watching. And now look where humility has gotten me... Kei wasn't usually so dismal and pessimistic, but she had really been looking forward to joining the tournament that year; the thought of being unable to participate because of lack of a team made her feel more than a bit disappointed.
She quickened her pace as she thought of something. If I can finish these errands, drop the dress off at home, and then ride my bike to the BBA stadium, then perhaps I may still catch anyone trying to recruit members! Now, the negative pall that hung over her was dissipating. Yeah...that's what I'll do...

"2..1. GO SHOOT" Takao said then shot his blade to the stadium.
'Maybe I should go to the BBA stadium later on' he then thought.

Maria went down to the first floor of BBA building and found from the television there about the registration. "So the registration is already starting." Maria said to herself then signed, "Even so I need to find a team to be in the tournament."
She kept her spirits up even though she was a natural pessimist. Removing her blade from her pocket she made a silent promise she had made so many times.
"I wish to be stronger" she whispered to herself. Then with a confident smile she continued on to the training area to make that wish come true.

"Go shoot" Max also said as he released his blade clashing with Tyson's blade.
Being thrown back by Tyson's power he stood still and battle with patience knowing that his friend was not the patient one when it came to these kind of battle yet he wouldn't be satisfied if Tyson was not at his best. Thought if they were it wouldn't be a friendly match.
Rei observed the match and saw that Tyson was still in shape due to Daichi being almost everyday around when he had time. 'I wonder if Daichi even went to school' Rei then thought.
