She smiled and nodded, secretly a bit...happy that he was coming. Besides it being really dark and having it be near impossible to see...she liked his company. The female started to walk, heading to the Chai'en river and sticking her hand into it to start reading off the items...
OOC: lol, yeah yeah, I know it's in the forest next to the pond, but I gotta get her over there first XD

((I'm getting to it, don't worry. XD I just had time to post one thing yesterday and I really want to get Ausar all socialized.))
The eclipse made things difficult to see, that was to be expected, and with a crying child in arms she was very worried. There was no one around to talk to to calm her nerves enough so she could deal with the screaming Arlie. It was then that she got a flash in her mind to see Dayht with another pae, talking about sinking something in a lake.
With her new undeveloped power the vision was over as soon as it started and it made her head feel like it was burning. In the few seconds it took for that to flash across her mind Arlie had calmed herself down by amusing herself with grasping for something Fre couldn't see. The child giggled and squealed with delight as she struggled against her mother.
"Arlie, what is it?" her mother asked, turning to look what the source of her amusement was.
She then saw exactly what the ribbon they had seen earlier had been attached to. High above them, dangling in a tree just above the water, was a staff. Some fae pae had probably lost it not that long ago and being the educated pae that she was, she knew that a staff was important to each faerie pae.
In a second she was near the tree and had set Arlie down on the ground with instructions to sit tight. She hadn't climbed a tree in over nine months and was afraid she had forgotten how, but just as if she were a young pae, Fre climbed the tree and was dangling herself out of the branch with one hand inching for the staff. As the fates would have it, the wind choose that moment to blow the ribbon in her direction and Fre grasped tightly and pulled as she crawled her way back to the tree.
On the ground Arlie bounced as her momma lifted her back up and the ribbon dangled in her face. Like a cat with yarn, the girl batted the ribbon around much against her mother's protests. The elder pae needed to think about what to do next.
"Well," she said after a few minutes and to no one in particular, "I suppose someone is missing this. Guess it's up to us to find them then."

Okay, Fre sorry to be impatiant. Wasn't sure Fre was going to get it. lol))
Apocalpyse felt it. Someone had found the staff. He grumbled as he walked on the beach near the Tiki Bar. What should he do? Go to them so they know who needs it? Or just try and avoid them? That sounded like the best plan. So, off he went towards the HQ. There had to be pae to mess with there. Forgetting about the ones he left behind. His back stung, but he didn't notice.
Apollo looked around the river in case it was somewhere there. He didn't see anything. "Man, this is hard. Like a needle on an island!"

((^^ Well I'm gonna join up with Dayht and Apollo then if they're headed this way.))
It had been several minutes since the rescue of the staff and things had appeared to calm down. Arlie was splashing in the water while Fre sat on the side and monitored. In her hands was the rescued object and she absentmindedly played with the ribbon attached to it. Whoever had lost it probably really wanted it back.
She should have immediately taken it back to the HQ to see if someone had lost it but the vision she had of Dayht compelled her not to. Maybe it was the tone of the girl's voice but she had a good enough reason to suspect they were coming here to try and look for it. Dayht would know what to do, hopefully.

"-13 crayfish-" she pulled back, feeling her chest rise and fall harshly with the power she was expending. But...she couldn't give up...Apollo needed her. "Yup!" With that, she tried not to put so much focus into her hands, and dived into the river. Dayht bit down on the rising words as she swam, not about to go through the list all over again. She popped up on the other side, quickly wringing out her hands before even attempting to dry off her own body

As Apocalpyse neared the HQ he stopped the solar eclipse. He felt he didn't need it for a while. "So, anyone home?" He called out as he walked in the door. He knew there had to be some pae or fairy inside. Some lived there and all.
Apollo crossed the river using the bridge and walked over to Dayht. "Anything?" He asked hopefully. He also scanned the area to see if it was around there anywhere. Though, Dayht seemed better at this them him.

She walked up to the edge of Loka Nei forest. She focused and touched the ground. Her power swept the area all the way to the Fae clearing, feeling the items tumble from her lips. She pulled back and shook her head, standing. And I'm making a path straight to the pond lol. Poor apollo just made quite the run

((I didn't know that. sweatdrop Not a biggie, anyway he doesn't like to swim. sweatdrop Anyway, I thought we were using that path and not cutting through the forest. Sorry. Should have said... ))
Apollo nodded. "Shouldn't we use the path? I'm not sure my dad would have cut through the forest. Then again he could have, I don't know." He really didn't know. He figured his father was with his mother in the first place.

She blinked slightly at apollo, tilting her head and slowly nodding. Of course it then hit hit her that she could have just flown over the river... sweatdrop Sometimes...she was just too absent minded! "where is the path though? I...haven't been around here before..." the female quietly admitted, blushing lightly.

"Oh, just over that way. I came through here to find you earlier. Did see anything. I did only keep to the path though." Which to him ment that the staff could have been anywhere near where he had been as long as it was hidden from the path.
Apocalpyse walked from the HQ. It was boring in there. No one was home. He wanted to do something... but what? The eclipses weren't really causeing as much mischif as he wanted.

She nodded and slowly started to walk over to the indicated path. "Apollo...what would happen...if we never find the staff?" Dayht asked worriedly. Niday would probably love it but...an eternal life of darkness? She repressed a shudder.

She continued to scan the area as well, ever searching. Even though she had already done a sweep of it and found nothing with her power. "Your dads smart." Dayht lightly chuckled. She knew pae who would beg to differ, but things ALWAYS turned out alright.
