OOC: Sorry I haven't posted recently but I'm visiting my Father and finishing my summer homework. I should be back on saturday.

A light chuckle escaped Brian's lips as he saw the confusion on his companions' faces.
"Er, yes Lady ShimmerStar... but Brian Silverhead will do nicely" He contemplated leaving them confused about his true gender but decided it might be best to clear it up.
"I am male, Lady ShimmerStar was just a name my producer gave me because I had this habit of performing in a dress, and well the name just stuck" He shrugged and began walking slowly in the direction they had been traveling.

Chestnut looked back and forth between the two feeling very confused. Why would a guy voluntarily perform in a dress.... well he took that back he would do just about anything right now for a good meal and descent clothes and with his tail he might very well end up in a dress himself.

After the lady spoke and indicated they had come to meet one of the two individuals talking Chestnut followed along valiantly if a little behind the group. These two people seemed all right but you never know about meeting new people. They might have a taste for fox... or man... or maybe foxman on this planet who knew? He carefully assessed his escape options as he neared the two people talking. He felt a little better when he had clearly verified at least three possible escape routes.

" Um...who are these people?" he whispeered.

"Oh... Hi Khorae..." Drakian managed weakly as his employer walked up. "My m-er my guest took off and left me with this offworlder to guide back into town. Apparently the Minidragon is on a spree tonight..." Drakian explained in the hopes that info on the situation would lighten the woman's mood. Looking at her company for several moments he realized she had likely figured this out herself as their magic signatures showed their recent dimensional transportation. "I'm late, aren't I?" He asked finally lookinjg sheepish. "Who is she tonight? A regular perhaps?" He asked hopefully, knowing a few of his clients didn't mind if he were a little saturated from the rain.

Brian responded to Khorae slowly as if he was becoming distracted with something, though he wasn't focusing his eyes on anything in particular "Er... yes well it was a man's dress actually, designed to compliment the figure of a male instead of... a female's" Brian lost interest in whatever he had been staring at and looked in the direction Khorae had gone. He stayed back as she spoke to her employee and then proceeded, quite rudely to walk away without so much as a farewell. Once she had gone a short distance Brian walked towards the silver haired person and spoke. "You have such lovely hair. How do you get it that colour?"

" I...was wondering if you've seen a dragon...." She said, feeling a tad stupid. She still didn't know whether dragons were common around here, even if there were furry people.

" She's small and black..." She said, biting her lip, " We got seperated when we came here, whever here is..."

Chironn shrugged, now looking worried, " I-I have no idea...I'm not even from here...wherever here is...uh...she's about 2 feet long, and she can communicate, telepathically....I can't hear her, though, so she...must be injured, or...dead..." She trembled as she said the last word, her fear for her partner , and the fact that she was in a strange land finally effecting her.

Drakian, looking extremely stressed out for a few moments trying to categorize everyone's complaints and trying to simulntaneously solve all of their problems sighed and finally stated. "Look, let's just get back to town, set you offworlders up somewhere, and I need to get ready to go back to work." The silver haired man effectively trudged over to where his employer stood, looking quite stressed out and confused. When and if the others joined them, he began to answer questions. "My hair is silver because of the gods, Dragons swarm all over this planet, but there is a good chance your dragon friend is just in a different dimension which would explain the silent telepathy. Worry about it when you get back to your home world."

Then heaving a sigh he turned back to Khorae. "I am sorry, but, as you know trouble follows my mom everywhere, as part of her is usually, like now, the trouble itself. I cannot change my family. You, as an offworlder yourself, should WELL understand what it means when the Minidragon gets bored. All of these people are now stuck in the same plight you were and I doubt if half of them have the strength and inner resources you do."

He looked at 'Lady' Shimmerstar and muttered. "He might get a job though... the others... well... Predator fodder." He added in an undertone, attempting to explain his actions. "You know me, I can't leave people in the woods alone, my brain can't handle it, I know too well what lurks there and what happens to those who..." He clenched his jaw and shut up realizing where his rant was taking him. Taking deep breaths, he raked a hand through his hair, after several moments he sighed. "God I miss the old days sometimes...All I ever worried about was the next drop of liquor..."

OOC: Poor Drakian, he's getting Emo, and yes he really does think he can save everyone... it's all an attempt to make up for the one he lost. Yes a la tragically killed one true love cliche thing. He was sixteen when that happened, he should be over it by now... but the Knightmage boys are not well known for that... Complete IDIOTS when it comes to women they are.

"Hey, I can call in a favor from Stephan, this is the slow time of year, he might be able to take them in." Offered Drakian, recalling that there were indeed some contacts that could be of benefit to him. "He probably has work they could do in return for thier lodging..."

OOC: Khorae would know this, Stephan is Drakian's best friend, his establishment is called The Grinning Fox Tavern and Inn (it is not a brothel, Stephan's wife would not allow it to become one). Meh, I am entirely unsatisfied with this post. I will probably change it later...
