He swallowed and nodded his head, sitting back in his seat, "Yes, makes me wish I had gotten the soup instead of salad!" he stated. He looked up when the waiter came back with his salad.
"Here you go sir, one house salad with italian! I'll be bringing you your food soon!" he announced. Then he went off again to serve another table, leaving the couple alone again.
Keme smiled and thanked their waiter, then unwrapped his utensils got his fork, starting on his salad.

Relm hid her pout that his salad arrived so soon, leaning back a little and pulling the soup a smidgeen closer to her and that much away from the center of the table so that it was not in the way of Keme's salad. She had wanted to feed him another bite. Now it seemed she would not get too. Well, there was always the rest of the meal. She smiled. "You're welcome to have more if you want, Keme." Relm said after swallowing another bite. "I like sharing with you."

Keme looked up from one of his bites, the fork still in his mouth. He smiled and took the utensil out, "If you like, I'll share my salad with you and you can share your soup with me!" he offered.

Espers, but if that isn't the sweetest...! Relm was grinning at Keme having kept the fork in his mouth. Her nose crinkled slightly at the salad though. "Oh, I don't need any of your salad, Hummer." Her eyes flashed as she grabbed another bite, blew once on the already less hot soup, and leaned out of her seat and across the table with it. A slow blush warmed her face as she did, perhaps feeling she was being bold or because there was more meditated thought & planning behind the action this time. "I got enough to share."

Well, he could easily finish off his salad if she didn't want any. But he did smile and lean over to take another spoonful from her, his tail wagging. He didn't realize a few folks were watching them, probably commenting about how cute they looked.

Relm was trying enough not to focus solely on the pair of them that her natural tendency to pay attention to what others were doing and saying picked up on the gazes their direction. It caused a bit of a dilemma inside her, as curiosity wanted her to look at them or otherwise find out more while the rest of her said 'who cares?' & tugged her to focus on Keme. Sheepishly, she grinned and followed the later while keeping only half an ear on the comments she might overhear. It was nice to be the cute ones, for a change. Besides, Keme was so perfectly handsome and adorable...
Her tail wagged happily and she ate a few more bites before leaning out of her chair again when it looked like Keme's mouth was empty between bites to offer him another.

Keme took her offered spoonfuls when he wasn't eating his salad, but it didn't take him long to finish off his salad and he pushed his bowl aside, licking his lips, having found it quite good. But he couldn't wait until they got their main courses. But right now, he only had eyes for Relm, and he couldn't help but think he beautiful she looked, and it wasn't because she was in a dress.

Her tail was swinging happily beneath the poof of her skirt but Relm did not care. She was enjoying herself far too much. It was almost odd, how she felt, and she was nearly glad they were not touching. She was a little afraid that if Keme touched her at this point she would explode into a million tiny fireworks, that was how she felt inside. How could simply sharing her soup with him have her worked up so much? Relm worked to get the last bite of soup out of the bottom of the bowl. "Last bite." She said with a wink, tail wagging as she leaned forward with it.
She suppressed a shiver for the way Keme looked at her. It would not do to shake and spill what was left of the soup. But she swallowed, eyes only for him, as her heart played acrobat inside her.

Keme smiled and leaned over, taking the last bite and he leaned back in his seat again, licking his lips after he swallowed, "That is really good soup!" he commented.

Watching his adam's apple as he swallowed Relm felt all warm inside and it was not from the soup. Sitting back down she set the spoon in the empty bowl and as casually as she could sipped from her water. She let her tongue roll around a bit in her mouth at the slightly lemon taste, willing her body to calm down. Sometimes, Relm hated her hormones. "Yes it is! Makes me excited for the rest of the meal!"
Smoothing her skirt down with her hands, Relm smiled that it did not seem to be doing anything bad before setting her elbows on the table and resting her chin on her hands to watch Keme while they waited. "So the salad was good? We'll have to remember to thank Moochi sometime."

Keme didn't realize what type of affect he was having on her, "Yes, she has been here before a number of times and recommended it when I told her I wanted to take you out on a date!" he said. "If you want, after kareoke, we can go someplace you want to for dessert!

"Someplace I want for dessert, hmmm?" Tilting her head in her hands Relm lightly tapped one finger on her lips as she thought -and tucked away all errant thoughts from her overly active imagination fueled by too much adult knowledge. Something with spoons... The artest let her thoughts settle on. I'd like to keep this theme of feeding each other tonight for some reason. She smiled, knowing she would continue to think about it considering she really did not know many places. But something else pulled her attention away for the moment. "Why did you want to take me on a date, Keme?"
Her light green eyes were soft, tender, & curious. She had been content with their meetings at his tree and random walks, going to the delicatessen nnd just generally hanging out together. Relm wondered how or why Keme had thought they should have a date, because she certainly had not thought of one.

Keme blushed and looked down at his fidgetting hands, wondering how he was going to explain. But he was saved when the waiter came back, hefting a tray.
"Sorry for the wait folks, but here is your food!" he said with a smile. "Mama's Trio for the gentleman!" he said, setting the plate in front of Keme, the food still quite hot. "And Chicken Cannelloni for the pretty lady!" he said, holding the tray in front of him, "Was there anything else I can get you two, refills for your drinks perhaps?"

Keme's reaction befundled her, and Relm found herself even more curious to know. But then the waiter was there with their food and she found herself blushing anew at being called a 'pretty lady' again. She was really more accustomed to strangers calling her a 'cute' or 'percocious' child. It would take her some time to get accustomed to being a 'lady'.
She pulled her arms into her lap and leaned against her chair's back so that the waiter could set her food down, breathing in deeply. Both smelled very good. Relm was glad the soup was in her tummy so that it would not rumble in appretiation.
Relm glanced at her drink, the water barely covering the ice that sat about halfway up her glass. When had she downed so much? "Yes please, more water would be great." She beamed up at the waiter, before smiling back at Keme once more.

Keme had barely touched his ice tea and he shook his head, feeling hungry again and he couldn't wait to dig into his food.
"Sure thing, I'll bring a pitcher over in just a second!" he said, going off to get a pitcher of ice cold water.
