Hinata looked at Kiba with worry in her eyes. she bit her lip but nodded. "O-ok, Kiba-kun. I trust you." She smiled and pushed him out of the door way. SHe closed and locked the door before sitting down, fiiding the darkness unnerving.
The girl had never been one to like things that went bump in night and as she closed her eyes she swore that sounds were coming out of every place in the room.
COme on Hinata, Kiba wouldn't hurt you.... No, your friend wouldn't hurt you. The old Kiba wouldn't hurt you. You don't know about this one. He may have just made you a sitting duck for his friend. No! I won't believe that! Kiba's not like that.

Kiba went into the kitchen and drank three packs of blood, then went to Shikamarus bedroom. When he went in, he felt his sires need like it was his own. He whimpered from the force of it but moved towards him. "Shikamaru, are you alright? You should get something from the fridge."
"Kiba, get that girl and get out." Shikamaru growled, his eyes glowing like they were lit from behind. "I'm really hunger and she smells so good." His nails dug deeper into the wood and he licked his lips again. "Get her out or I'll drain her dry."
Kiba moved over to him and slid his arms around Shikamarus neck. "If you won't drink the stuff in the fridge, then take from me. I know it's not as good as a humans, but it's warm and fresh." He slid a hand up to the back of his sires head and pulled his face down to his neck. "Please, you're in pain. Why haven't you been feeding pro-ah!" He cried out as Shikamaru sunk his fangs into the his neck.
Shikamaru drank deeply, holding Kiba tightly, one hand wrapped around his waist and the other had a firm hold in his hair. He tilted his head farther to the side, causing the blood to flow faster. s**t, he tastes so good! I can't believe I forgot... he ran his tongue over the two wounds before sucking some more.
"Sh-Shika, no more...please." Kiba whimpered as he felt himself growing weak. "Please stop..." his legs gave out on him and he found himself on the floor with Shikamaru on top of him. He curled his hands into his sires shirt and tried to push him away but no longer had the strength to do so.
Something snapped him out of his trance like state and he quickly pulled away. "********, Kiba!" He scooped the boy up into his arms and lay him on his bed. "You know better than to do that with me you idiot!" Dammit, I took too much and you can't turn one who's already been turned. "Now you're the one who needs blood." and only fresh blood with completely revive him. I have no choice but to use the girl. "Don't die on me, got it?" He left the room and went to the door he sensed Hinata behind. He tried the knob but found the door locked. "Hey, open up, it's important."

Hinata's eyes snapped open as the dor rattled. Her pale eyes scaned the room until she heard Shikamaru's voice. She shook her head. "I...I can't. K-kiba-kun told me not to." She said. moving back against the wall, wondering if all the tales of a vampire's strengh were true. Could Shikamaru just break the door down?

I could always just force my way though, but that would really terrify her. Not that what I have to do will be any different. "Hinata was it? If you don't come out, Kiba is going to die. Do you want to lose him after just being reunited?"

"ah." Hinata quickly stood up, tripping over her feet and falling down a few times as she ran over to the door. She quickly unlocked it and threw it open. "Where is he?" Her voice, though soft was commanding. "Tell me what I have to do." She shook her head, losing all fear. "I told him he could never take care of himself."

Shikamaru stared at her a moment. "He needs blood. It needs to be warm and fresh and he needs it now. Are you willing to feed him? Know that there will be consequences. You two will become bonded. You will know when he's in pain and when he's hungry and anything else he may be feeling and it works both ways. He will know your every emotion and feeling. You will not turn into a vampire so do not worry about that. For that to happen he would need to drain you till you're at the edge of death, then replace your blood with his own. Are you still willing to do this?"

Hinata didn't even consider it for a second before nodding and walking into the room she had seen Kiba go into right before this. She paused for a secod when she say her friend, but only out of shock at how he looked. She quickly moved over to Kiba's side and touched his hand lightly. "Hey, Kiba-kun. Come on. Do you need help to get up?" SHe helped him sit up, the gentalness never leaving her gaze, voice or touch as she helped her friend. She looked at Shikamaru. "What...how do I give him my blood?" She asked, her voice still quite.

"He's too weak to bite." Shikamaru said as he came into the room and stood beside her. He pulled a blade from his pocket and handed it to her. "Use that but be careful not to hit a major artery or you'll bleed out."
Kiba was just barely conscience but he knew by sent that Hinata was the one holding him. "Hinata...nooo. Goway." his words were slurred and came out in a whisper. "Don't wanna...hurtyoou."

Hinata took the blade and faced Kiba again. "Shh. It's ok. I agreed to it. Shh." She looked down at her arm and knew that would be the best way to get Kiba blood. She also remembered something she had learned from a friend. Never worry if you get cut across your wrist. It won't bleed enough. You only have to worry about the cuts that go down you arm. She almost laughed at this memory. It had been Kiba who had taught her that. Back when she had been hurt on the arm and got so scared she was going to die. She quickly cut across her wrist and put it to Kiba's mouth, smearing his lips with the blood.

As soon as the blood touched his tongue, Kiba clamped his mouth around her. One of his hands came up to grabbed her arm and pulled her closer. He drank a few deep mouthfuls before slowing down. After another sip or two, he regained his control and released her arm. "Hinata...you didn't have to do that, but, thank you."
Shikamaru had left the room for a moment and came back with some bandages. He cleaned and wrapped Hinatas arm before looking at his friend. "He'll be fine. Thank you." he added quietly. He hated being in debt to a human but this was from his own fault. "Girl...Hinata, we must rest now. You may use the room you were in."

Hinata smiled warmly at Kiba. "Yeah I did. I already lost you once. I did not want to lose you again." She leaned down and gave him a kiss on the forehead before heading towards the door. She stopped for a second. "And you don't have to worry, Shikamaru-san. You don't owe me anything. I did it for Kiba-kun. And if you won't take that. Then it's the least I can do for letting me live." She gave Shikamaru a smile almost as warm as the one she had given Kiba before leaving and going back to the darkend room.

I wonder if she'll think the same thing when she realizes that I'm not going to let her go? Shikamaru crawled into the bed beside Kiba and wrapped his arms around him. It was rare for him to do such a thing, but he'd been scared of losing him from his own stupid mistake.
"Sh-Shika?" Kiba frowned at the arms around him, then smiled and relaxed into his arms. "Heh, love ya too."
"Tch, don't say stupid things." Shikamaru muttered but the other boy was already asleep and didn't hear it.

Hinata curled up on one of the cushions and sighed. She closed her eyes and tried to fall asleep, ignoring the thoughts that raced through her mind. Kiba-kun is a vampire... And his Okaa-san and Hana knew. Why did they turn him away? He is still Kiba-kun. I'm not scared of him...Just of Shikamaru-san. And I want to go home. The girl didn't reliaze she was crying even as she felt the tears slid past her closed eyelids and down her cheeks.

Kiba woke up a while later and carefully got out of the bed to go check on his friend. He slowly opened his 'bedroom' door and peered in. She's sleeping. He quietly entered the room and found a blanket to put over her. While it was comfortable to him, temperatures didn't really bother vampires, but Hinata was human and was probably a little cold. He placed a kiss on her forehead before standing back up and leaving the room.

Hinata woke up a few minutes after Kiba left. She stood up and yawned before walking out of the room. she saw Kiba sitting on the couch and moved to sit next to him. She yawned again and rubbed her eyes. "When can I go home, Kiba-kun?"
