knuckle_toes ... It's disappointing that I see no Pink Floyd threads. Some of you may recognize me from the Pink Floyd threads in the Entertainment Forum.. As you can tell, I am a huge fan. I guess I should start by saying my favorite album is Animals, and that their movie The Wall is another one of my passions.
I recently went to an Australian Pink Floyd concert back in October. They were good but obviously not as good as the original...but excellent, nonetheless. If anyone lives in an area they tour in, I'd reccomend going.
Granted, they aren't the original, but they're as good as one can get, since the real Pink Floyd hasn't toured in ages.

If I had to single out one band as my all-time favorite, Pink Floyd would be the one. Dark Side of the Moon is my favorite album, but I love every album of theirs I've picked up so far (Ummagumma, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall) plus what I've heard from Echoes and over the radio.
"Wish You Were Here" is my favorite song of all time. I also have a close affinity for "San Tropez," "One of my Turns," "Nobody Home," and "On the Turning Away."

Dark Side of the Moon is my favorite album, but I love every album of theirs I've picked up so far ( Ummagumma, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall) plus what I've heard from Echoes and over the radio. My favourite song has to be "Wish You Were Here", too. I'm listening to it right now, and as it's not that hard, I can play it on guitar, too. ^_^

Dark Side is actually more overrated than The Wall.I haven't really seen The Wall getting whored that much, actually. DSoTM isn't really overrated as it is overplayed as ******** will always be my favorite floyd album, though.
