ji-an It's just that many of my friends don't like the preppy cheerful girls. That's why some on my friends didn't like Kairr from kindgdom hearts, she was too happy. Mm, indeed. That does seem to be the case with many FF fangirls. I suppose for me, though, it's that I can identify more with the male characters than the females. Of course, that's always been the case.

My personal favorite couple in Final Fantasy is Locke and Rachel (Final Fantasy VI). Though you never really find out much about their life together, you can tell just how crazy they were for one another. Locke, who's weighed down with eternal grief, and Rachel, who gave her spirit up to become Phoenix, and always be with the man she loves...

Game wise, I agree with Terra above me. ^^ Locke and Rachel is the love everyone would just love to have. And it was tragic it had to end the way it did. If only he could have seen her once last time before the raid! D<
(RP Wise...I love my Celes' love life with Reno. xD But...we all know that would never happen.)

I think Cecil and Rose was the best pairing. Their relationship was alot better in the retraslated version.

I can't choose between Squinoa, Selvine, or Tuna. Not a huge Aurikku fan, but it's at least cute.

I'm a FFXII girl, but the couples there were sooooo horrifyingly hard to make out... Penelo and Larsa were pretty cute, but then in Revenant Wings Penelo's all Lovey-dovey with Vaan (yuck.)
xD BUT if slash is allowed! AHAHA! Then I want Balthier/Al-Cid crack! And Basch/Balthier crack! and...

I also love the idea of LarsaxPenelo (it was seriously there! XDD). but only if Larsa's older. >3<
and I have a soft spot for VivixEiko. the way that they interact is just so adorable~ *3*
