For everyone who wants to read the entire Bible, I highly recommend this article: How to Read Through the Entire Bible. (A few have suggested reading the Bible straight through from Genesis to Revelations, which I know is a bad idea.)

I think we should all vote on a reading plan before beginning (unless Butterfly would prefer this not be a democracy), so start researching reading plans (so we can vote on your favorite)! (that URL was a joke, btw; it doesn't necessarily have to be Catholic... I just want something including the Apocrypha. If we do decide on a reading plan that includes the Apocrypha, Protestants can just not read those parts. razz )

Grr, have spent far too long searching for Catholic Bible reading plans and have only found a few good websites so far: http://ccpl.carr.org/~meripper/bible/ seems to have a good reading plan (at a glance.) http://www.salvationhistory.com/ is interesting/good, but not quite what I want.

I'm going to ask at Catholic.org's forums... hopefully. I've been banned twice for no reason. The most uptight forums I've ever seen.

This sounds like a good idea. I would like to help. onlinerecoveryversion.org has good bible reading schedules and a study bible there too with footnotes and cross references. It makes it easy to study clarify a verse and to make connections.
