Zyan avoided Orpheus's gaze, if for any reason cause she felt so useless at the moment. She tried to help only to make things worse. Though his laugh seemed sincere, she still felt down.
"Thank you.." she trailed off slowing down a bit to take a hold of Ter's hand. She didn't want to leave just yet, her mom was at the front door and that made her nervous. Mostly cause it ended up with them both blowing up at each other. She didn't want that to be seen in front of Ter.
"Hello?" Jay called from the front door, it had been an abnormally long time since Orpheus had answered the front door. Jeeze the man was cute. She smiled inwardly, she couldn't resist a red head and the fact he had glasses too seemed to make him a match made in heaven.
As she heard them approaching she fiddled with a hair a bit to make it look better and straightened her jacket a bit.
(she is currently wearing what my avi has on right now)

Orpheus hurried back when he heard the woman's voice, ah! How rude of him to leave her standing there for so long, "Coming!" He called, putting a little bit of speed into his steps so that he coudl get back to her more quickly, "Back, back... sorry. They are on their way, a little technical problem with the shirt." He said, it lacked the right about of arm holes being the problem.
Ter slithered along, stopping a little ways back from where the two adults were, oh no... another red head. Those were always, ALWAYS trouble...

Jayoku's laugh flitted into the air, it was light and airey, "Yes Zyanya has always had issues with shirts and well clothes in general." she replied with a slight tilt of her head and nod. She always seeme to close her eyes when shs smiled, which was odd cause she did have beautiful steel blue eyes.
"Thank you for letting her stay here after her lesson i hope she wasn't a bother." she continued wondering why the children had stopped down the hall. She could see them both dimly in the shadows. Ah well this let her have more time to talk to Orpheus.
Zyan stood beside Ter whie watching her mom flirt with Orpheus. She wasn't sure if it was flirting...since her mom was generally nice to EVERYONE they met. Something about it being a more positive outlook or the likes. Blinking slowly, she scooched closer to Ter as if for moral support.

"That I can empathize with, Ter is about the same." His problem with them though was his dislike of them, Orpheus had spent good money on clothing for him when he was younger only to have all of the clothing become bedding for the boy's wyvern 'princess'. He gave a bit of a laugh, "I don't mind to much about the shirt, just a shirt after all and I doubt she did that on purpose." After all she had appoligized and offered to get him a new shirt.
Ter watched the two grown ups, a bit confused. Well at least Z's mother didn't seem angry? She seemed... giggly instead. That had to be a good sign right? Maybe? He couldn't be sure since he didn't know her and she was a red head. They weren't to predictable...
He turned his gaze over to Z, "Hows it look?" He asked, maybe she could read her mother better?

Jayoku nodded her head, and for once in felt more relaxed than in a long time. "I believe children are just meant to either wear out their clothes or not wear them at all. For Zyanya she tends to wear them out faster than I can buy." she continued her eyes wandering back to the pair and then to Orpheus.
"Maybe next time you and Ter can come over for Tea." she offered trying t be subtle in her flirting. By including Ter it meant that she didn't just want to get to know Orpheus better.
Zyan watched her mom in mild annoyance. eyebrows furrowing as she thought frantically. "not sure.." she whispered back to Ter, her hand tightening around his for a moment. "my mom may just be being super nice while in front of other grownups..." she continued hoping things wouldn't suddenly turn for the worse.

Orpheus couldn't help but laugh, "Sounds words there." He agreed, rather liking her quote, 'Wear them out or not wear them' heh, "Tea? That sounds nice, I don't often get to meet for long periods of time with the parents of my students." He said, rather oblivious to anything that she may have in mind passed the tea she offered. When it came to women he was as dense as rock...
Ter watched the parents closely, the end of his tail flicking back and forth thoughtfully, "Hrm... just tea?" He murmured, they weren't talking about anything really important so maybe they were going to keep out of trouble then? Would be nice, "Maybe should get closer to hear better?"

Jayoku continued to smile asif everything was right with the word. It was just teh way she was. "Well how about sometime next week? We could dicuss some furture developments with Zyan and maybe even my son Chath." she continued and then looked directly at Zyan indicating it was time to leave.
As if avoiding that said look Zyan looked to Ter and then shook her head. "I think that is all she wants...is tea. and perhaps a discussion. But i think my mother would like to leave.." she trailed off fidgeting with the torn sleeve in annoyance.

"That sounds great, I look forward to the tea then." He said, always glad to have someone to talk to especially the parents of his students. To often he met a student then after the classes were over lost contact with them, having no idea what they were up to aside from what his son's filled him in on. Even then they couldn't hope to know all of the students, the tea and talking would be nice.
Ter flicked out his tongue then turned to Z, "Will see again soon." He told her, his voice filled with promise. After all they were friends and they weren't about to give that up as they had already decided.

Jayoku nodded her head and then gave a laugh. "I was about to ask for your phone number and realized teh receptionist already had given it to me. Well then, I guess until next week. I will call to arrange a day and time." She murmured the last part giving Orpheus a wink, that seemed a bit childish but cute at the same time.
"Come now Zyan your brother is waiting!" Jay called with a wave of her hand.
Zyan squeezed Ter's hand again and then slipped out of his grasp as she walked towards her mother. She gave Ter a smile at his words and mouthed 'till later' to him before heading over to her mom. She slipped on her shoes while her mother took off her jacket and then placed them around her shoulders.
"Can't have my lil girl wearing just scraps of cloth outside." she said with a smile, though there seemed an underlying edge to her tone that made Z nervous.
"Goodbye till next time!" she said as she opened the door and steered Zyanya back outside.

Orpheus waved, watching the pair as they headed out before giving a sigh and looked over at Ter, "Alright then kid. I suppose we should talk huh?" He said, closing the door after Jayoku and Zyanya.
Ter gave a flick of his tongue then nodded, "Ok, talk." He said, wondering what it was that they were going to be discussing... the tea thing maybe?
