WOOT!!!!! FINALLY! i new album! YES!

Just "aquired" the album today.
Why? I heard the single, and thought "Mmm I'm not buyin the album if it's all gonna be like that", so I had to make sure.
My opinion?
It's the B-Side to The Rising Tied.
If you ask me Mike ******** off and worke don the Fort Minor thing and it sounds as if the rest of the crew made this. It's just makes me feel like it's more of a rock album, influenced by Iron Maiden and Metalica than the ******** awesome hybrid sound LP is renown for. Sad if you ask me, rather sad. See, I'm a complete HipHopHead nowadays, so this album'll probaly only get played in my uber depressin times, or just for background music.
Another thing I noticed is that when I have some random song on as background music, I listen to the words still. With this album I can't Listened to it twice and I couldn't tell you what the songs are about! Not very Linkin Park at all.
Honestly, I just hate how there's no trace of Mike's notorious hip hop verses, although there's small traces of him in some beats and sounds.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not sayin I hate this album, it's just that very difficult third album (Hybrid Theory, then Meteora, then this. The other's aren't actual new material albums in my books.). All bands have trouble with the third album cause they start to find new paths and stuff....
*Sighs*
It's definetly not a classic like the rest though.
In a nutshell....
It's a complete B-Side to The Rising Tied.
This'll be a grower though..........

Someone obviously doesn't know record labels leak tracks deliberatly to tease fans and make them buy albums. i've already listened to the full track...and i'm not trying to be a p***k...i've already tried to look it up and i got nothin but Grey Daze stuff, not Linkin Park...the names might have been those of the cd's, but they weren't because i already looked up some of Grey daze's stuff and the were kinda the same songs

Personally I'm going to the mall for lunch, but rather than hit up the food court, I'm gonna hit up hot topic and purchase the cd with my mall discount, cuz I rock like that. ninja Hope all enjoys the new cd. Yeah can't wait one more day. As for those of you who are DISSING LP in a LINKIN PARK GUILD watch your steps >.< You might be thrown out or something I dunno. I personally love the new album's idea. They needed a change sorry but I think they did something right it shows their talent instead of the same old stuff they had before we know what they had in HT and Meteora. It was time to see what else LP can do. They are a symbolic band after all, so they're not really limited by style as long as they have a definition of each album. Minutes to Midnight is to make it so each song reflects a different emotion. I.E. What I've Done-repentence, Given Up-Rage, etc. So let's not hate our fav. cecular band here okay guys?
