Still panicking, Dawn searched herself for the patch, though she knew in the back of her head that it wasn't on her. "I can't believe you lost that thing! It's one of the most important things you could have on you! Okay, calm down Dawn, Someone must have found it." Striding over to Dimitri, Dawn placed her hands on his shoulders and shook him slightly. "Do you know what this means? If someone at that lab found that patch it could mean I'm screwed!" Then, a look of realization dawned on him. "I think.... If we go back to find that patch, we might be able to get it back!" "You idiot! Don't you realize 'We' might get killed. And don't think that I don't know that when you say 'We' it means me!" Seeing a slight look of defeat on Dimitri's face, Dawn sighed and put her arm around him. "Now, not with the face... Come on. Alright, I'll... Grab some stuff and try finding the lab again. But as we both know, you're the brains behind us both." ((Forgive the short post. I have a slight headache and ideas are slowly leaking from my brain at the moment.))

((S'alright.))

Dr. Gen employed several spiders into the battlefield. They weren't neccesarily alien-big, but these replicas of tarantulas were bigger than a three-hundred pound man's torso. Dr. Gen pocketed the patch and smiled to himself, knowing in his consious that the organization was going to try and get it back. Try as you may, but I've already memorized the name of your little club, Stephen thought, petting one of the spiders. They had been enfused with mammilian DNA to ensure stability, making them docile to whom they thought to be friendly. Basically they were his attack dogs... no, actually, his genetically engineered saberwolves were his attack dogs, but same difference.

The queen spider was his most powerful ally in the case of his units. She wasn't heartless like most spiders. In fact, she seemed compassionate towards them. Therefore it was important to keep good relations with her. Dr. Gen took the short trip in the elevator to the second floor. Alltogether there were twenty floors, but the base's shape prevented anyone from noticing. When it moved, the base sort of resembled a tick crawling along.

Stephen walked out of the elevator and looked around the dark ex-storage room that he now used as a breeding chamber for his creatures that needed to breed in order to retain efficiency. He noticed that one of the gates had been ripped apart; probably by his friend, the queen. Then he realized that the entire room, not just her room, had become a social nest. Every arthropod he had placed was building a hive. Every one. The queen spider, of which he could not find, was probably in the very back of this gate. Dr. Gen cautiously stepped through the gate and felt a slimy, sticky substance touch his hand. It was silk, or web, that he soon came to find out had coated this entire room. Stephen stumbled through and pulled a flashlight from his coat pocket. Gen saw nothing when he turned it on, other than the reflective walls covered in web. Gen shrugged and continued on until he found where the queen was. She stood at around twenty feet tall, probably over four or five tons, and looked quite fearsome. To be truthful the alpha of the bug world was rather docile. He tiptoed near her in plain sight. Of course she knew he was there, because she could feel the vibrations. Stephen placed his hand on the tip of her leg and watched her twitch a little. From there, he moved a little closer. The arthropod didn't suffice to even move as he advanced.

The venom reached his heart almost instantly.

Dr. Gen lay on the floor, dead. For good, and from his own creation. Maybe this was because this Dr. Gen was actually just a clone he had sent to scan the area. The original just watched from a camera and winced as he realized that he could've been dead and on the floor.

Twenty Hours later, they sat at the base, unloading their cargo.

"Be careful with that. You may think that you're ok but on crack on the missle will blow us all up!" She ordered, directing the missle crew. She smiled as she lay back on a rock, watching her men fill the base with the necessary supplies and special cargo. She would begin Operation Barabrossa upon the Middle Eastern GLA base two days from then.

"I can only say one thing about Hitler that was good. He sure came up with some nice battle tactic names...otherwise he was horribly ineffiecient and a little crueler than my tastes suit..."

Dr. Gen smiled, thinking of a way to protect himself. "It's time to let my little skitsofrantic friend out." He announced, pulling a suringe from the machine which had turned it for approximately three hours.

Stephen Gen stuck himself with the suringe and squeezed the plunger until the last of the serum was in his bloodstream. At first, nothing happened. Then his vision became blurred. Several seconds later, he felt a slight pull on his arms and legs, realizing that he was growing somehow. At first it was a little pinch, but then it began to hurt a little, and afterwards a lot. Soon he felt a major tug on his shoulder. Pain and agony shot through his whole body, not ceasing until he had succumbed to a scream of despair. He reached for the other suringe that was supposed to reverse the effects, but it was just too far out of his reach. Soon, he was on the ground, passed out. In reality the serum had increased his size, from about five-foot-seven to seven-foot-eight. His total strength had turned grossly overpowering. All of his physical and mental attributes had been altered in a medium of supremacy.

Once she arrived, Dawn facepalmed. "Okay, Dimitri. Either they've moved the base, or they camo'd. I just can't believe this. Why can't they just stay in one place?!" Shouting the last words, Dawn realized that was a mistake. "Uhm... Oops..." The next thing she knew, an avalanche was coming at her. Panicking, she ran as fast as her limbs could possible take her. Launching herself off an angled boulder and transforming Dawn then flew off. "Well, Dawn, that was a complete disaster.... Hey, I found something! Here's the coordinates for the building. It's more than likely they moved off to confuze us." "Alright, Dimitri, you'd better be right about this. I swear that Gen guy's a complete psycho." Flying to the coordinates, Dawn transformed and landed. "Well, it's obviously camo'd. Let's just keep walking forward and see if we find anything." Dimitri's voice buzzed in her ear. "Well you should be right at their back door, Dawn. Now, it's all up to you." Smiling, Dawn replied "Thanks Dimitri. I didn't mean it when I said you where a pain in the butt." Feeling along the wall, Dawn soon found a window. A window of oppourtunity. How cliche... she thought. Pulling out her picklock, Dawn carefully opened the window.

Once inside, Dawn instantly went to stealth mode. "Well, let's just hope they don't detect you this time." Dimitri buzzed to her. "Pfft. Let's just hope they detect me as just a tiny blip on the screen." Dawn replied.

Dr. Gen heard a little fiddling with something in his lab as his eyes shot open. Either he was on a drug trip, or the serum had transformed his eyesight... along with every other attribute of his.

Stephen leapt to his feet. He heard someone falling to the floor of his lab and turned to the source. 'Yes... find the intruder, kill her, now!' The voice said. "Yes..."

He quietly advanced towards the source of the sound and peered around the corner. Then he saw her. The woman from the security feeds. He pulled a dartgun from his pocket and growled at her. Several raptors stepped into the room and hissed at the intruder. "Freeze."

Smirking, Dawn laughed "So you found me." and turned off her camoflage. "I have to admit, you're good. Should have known that if I found you once that I can find you again. I have people." Dawn tapped the the earbud. Stretching out her Auto-Mailed hand, as they decided to name her mechanized parts, Dawn quipped "I'd like that patch back, if you don't mind. If you can't tell that's a pretty important thing." Good thing my hands are gloved, he can't tell I have the Auto-Mail... Dawn thought. Eyeing the Raptors and the dart gun warily, Dawn slowly reached for her gun whilst she tried to distract him. "I know what's going on. Project Snowblind, am I right? But enough about that. It's time you die!" On her last word, Dawn whipped out her pistol and shot in his direction, hoping she hit something.

Dr. Gen took the bullet to the shoulder and smiled. "My flesh is tougher than a heavily armored vehicle." He replied to the friendly shot. In turn, Stephen shot his genetic mutation dart into her stomach. "And as for you, I hope you like being a slave."

Taking the dart to the stomach, Dawn's world in front of her started to get hazy. Falling to the tiled floors with a thud Dimitri's voice then shouted into her ear "Dawn! Dawn! What happened? Dawn, you there! Answer me, please!" Trying to at least stay awake, Dawn found it was difficult. I guess I forgot that that dumb patch was on my shoulder. I guess he can still see the Auto-Mail. Dawn thought while she was still in her hazy state. She knew that her right shoulder there would be a shine. In the back of her mind, Dawn heard a small voice tell her 'You still have some fight left in you! Get up!' Pushing herself, Dawn coughed up a bit of blood and tried to stand. Finally making it to her knees, Dawn sat on them and looked at Gen. "I guess you got me this time, Gen. What is this stuff anyways, if you don't mind me asking." Taking the earbud from her ear and throwing it to the floor, Dawn leaned against a wall for support, still looking at Gen.

Dr. Gen smiled and said, "That is for you to find out. For now, I would like to ask you to submit to capture."

Smirking, a bit of blood still running down her chin, Dawn sighed. "I guess I'll have to. What else can I do?" Hearing Dimitri's voice buzzing from the earpiece on the floor, Dawn took her pistol and shot it saying "Shut up Dimitri." Then, she almost regretted it.

Dr. Gen smiled, satisfied. The first raptor stepped closer to her and walked around behind her. He nudged her with his nose and hissed. "I advise that you follow them. And please be careful to put that gun down, they've been known to rip the limbs off of those who don't listen. They look pretty hungry." He said. Stephen walked to his computer and shooed her away.

Putting the gun away, Dawn smiled. "I'm out of bullets anyhow, and that was my last mag. Don't worry, I'll be good." she said smugly. "Well, I'm all yours, boys. Take me away." she said, following the raptors. "Geez, if you two weren't so evil, you'd probably make someone a pretty good pet. But where are we even going anyway?" she asked them, but she knew they wouldn't and couldn't answer.

"The jail cells." One of the raptors answered.

Shrugging, Dawn sighed. "I thought so." Nearly tripping when one of the raptors pushed her in the cell, she said to him lightheartedly "Hey, gettin' a little rough there buddy. Take it easy." Lying down on the hanging 'bed' that was there, she stared at the ceiling. "Might as well make myself comfortable, I'll be here for awhile." and soon fell to sleep, not realizing the changes that were happening to her body. Soon, her hair turned white and black striped and her eyes a rich amber.

Meanwhile, back at Central, the Chief and Dimitri wondered what happened to her. "Dimitri! I thought I told you to keep a close eye on her! She's still young and in training. We still don't know what the devil happened to Dawn!" Raising his hands in his own defence, Dimitri replied panicked and sweat forming on his hairline. "Hey, chief, I don't even know what happened. The last thing I heard was her voice then communications went out." Slamming his fist on the desk, the Chief yelled "Well, get a team together and go find her! And I want you on that team!" Wide eyed, Dimitri replied in surprise "Y-Yes, sir..."
