After schoo in the dorm, Reid slammed his books down and said, "what the hell was that?! Why didn't you back me up, X?" "I needed to talk to Korri. As soon as she's mine, I promise, we'll get Ulmeyda and all of his lackeys!" Exo said. "But there's only 2 of us and three of them, not including Korri," Reid said. "Don't worry. We can handle them. And if we can't, then I'll call a couple of my friends down here!" said Exo. "What are their powers?" "They don't have any..." "Then we're gonna get smoked! Don't bring your friends up here just so Ulmeyda can kill them!" Reid said. "You're right...."

Later that night, Exo called Korri to his dorm room. Reid was out with a friend. "So..." "So..." "Hey, is that your guitar?" Korri asked Exo. "Yeah, you wanna hear me play?" Exo asked her. "Sure!" she said excitedly. Exo sat on the bed next to Korri and began playing a slow and light tune. Korri smiled at him. "You and Ulmeyda, huh?" Exo said as he continued his tune. "Yeah...I don't like when he acts like a jerk. He's a good guy, but he tries to be something he's not." "Maybe you need to find someone else..." "Maybe..." Reid was secretly listening outside of the dorm. The melody stopped. "Why did you stop playing?" Korri asked. Exo played again. This time, he only played 6 notes. On the seventh note, a blade shot out from the bottom and almost sliced Korri's leg off. "Oh! I'm sorry! That's never happened to me before!" "You need to watch how you use that thing!" Reid snickered as he leaned on the door listening. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened." Exo apologized. "Where did you get that guitar-sword thing?" Korri asked

"I got it from a pawn shop. It looked like a normal electric guitar!" Exo said. "That's pretty neat. It's time to put that thing away. How do you?" Korri asked. Exo wondered. He then hit all of the strings at the same time and the sword retracted. "It's getting pretty late. I'll see you in class tomorrow," Korri said with a big smile on her face. Exo smiled back at her and she walked out. Reid hid in a corner and walked in the dorm when Korri left. "Yeah!" Reid complimented Exo. "What the hell are you doing?" Exo asked. "You hit it! Congradulations." "You've got it all wrong." Exo explained. Reid quoted Korri. "Watch where you're pointing that thing!" "She was talking about my sword. Look!" Exo said as he began to play the same 7 notes as before. The sword shot out of the sword and Reid was shocked...and disappointed. "Oh, for a moment, I thought you finally won Korri over!" Reid said. "Well, I'm working on it. As soon as I'm finished, we can get Ulmeyda!"

Pilata peeked in her new room. She had just arrived at the boarding school that evening, and was trying to find everything and settle in. With a sigh, she tossed her bags on the ground and plopped down on her bed.
"A new school, new opportunities!" she said, partially excited, partially nervous, "And I'm hungry."
With that, she slipped out of her room and looked for the kitchen.

As Exo headed to get a bite to eat, he noticed a girl wondering the hallways. He had never seen her before, so he cautiously approached since he was unaware of her talent. "Hi...I'm Exo!" he extended his hand for a handshake

"Great!" she beamed, "And I can change the state of matter. See?" Pilata took a Slinky out of her pocket and held it in her hand. It glowed and then changed into liquid form. "How about you?"

Exo was stunned by Pilata's power. "Huh? Me? Well, I certainly can't transform things. I just have the generic basics. I'm extraordinarily strong and fast. And I have a guitar! It's pretty cool!" Exo said while pointing to the guitar on his back.

"I was in a band, but I came here and my band split up. It's strange, though. When I play these seven notes, a blade shoots out of the bottom of the guitar. I haven't used it yet. What about you? What do you like to do?" Exo asked with an anxious chuckle.

"Oh wow, that's really awesome! As for me, I like to play with my powers, do pranks, and have fun in general," Pilata replied, "So, what should I know about the school? Anything interesting going on; any teachers or students to avoid?"
