"C'mon Lion! We're gonna be late! Kon!" Pire barked loudly as he alternated between tapping on the door and scampering back to the sidewalk where Leon was engaged in conversation with Seven.
"Just a minute!" he answered back with a satisfied grin, and tucked something carefully into his shirt pocket. "Pi, are you sure we can't go home first? It might scare Heaven if I have all this gunk on my face."
Pire refused adamently by shaking his head and flattening his ears. They were not going to be late on account of some stupid stage makeup. "Besides." he added "You look like a kitty!"

“Cousins...!?” Amelia repeated, unable to conceal the mixed surprise and disgust in her voice. They aren’t blood related, a voice in the back of her mind gently reminded her, bringing the girl some comfort from Spencer’s sudden revelation. Following the line of her friend’s finger as he pointed toward his mother and Viper, Amelia’s attention shifted back to Spencer as he spoke in a low, strangled tone. Supposed to what...? the vampiric child wanted to ask, but her mind was still struggling to comprehend what was being said, and then her thoughts were rudely interrupted by a sudden shout. The noise caused Amelia to flinch, although whether a result of the sheer volume of the sound or as a result of who uttered it wasn’t clear.
The next few moments, consisting of familial greetings and gestures, played out unnoticed to Amelia’s eyes; drowned out amidst the thoughts running though her mind.
Never see Spencer again? Best friend? Would it really hurt to tolerate them for a few hours? Some situations call for one to be nice to those beneath them, especially if it helps to achieve something – right?
“Hi...nice to meet you” Amelia replied as she surfaced from her thoughts, managing to draw her lips into a thin smile. Shooting her brothers a quick glance, one that warned then to be quiet and that she would explain later; the girl turned back to Spencer and his cousins.

Kitty opened the door smiling not yet seeing the two.
Hello there! Thanks so much for comingggg OH MY GOD!
Yelled Kitty almost jumping back from Leon.
With a couple gasps of air she finally was able to figure out who it was as she notices Pire.
O-Oh... L-Leon.... it's just you, heh heh.... for a second there you scared me.... A LOT.... And hello there Pire! How are you! Heaven and her friends are over there!
She said waving at Pire and pointing to Heaven and the others.
She than looked up at Leon and closed the door behind them, motioning him to the other adults, as they walked Kitty leaned up to his ear and whispered.
Any reason why you look like a cat....

Kira's mind was swimming with all the new faces. She waved happily to the new parent, while she let a soft snicker escape from her mouth. He looked even more like a cat than she did!
Nyoko was just as confused as his mother. He scooted away from the pack of children and tried his best to remain calm. He always got so nervous around people he didn't know!

Pire doubled over clutching his stomache with laughter at Kitty's reaction. That was just too funny! He honestly hadn't expected her to be that shocked (to him, Leon still looked like Leon, after all, but Pire tended to identify people by scent and temperature rather than just appearance), but this was better than throwing water balloons off the school roof! When his giggles had subsided, he offered a quick hello and thanks and scampered off to find Heaven.
Leon rubbed at the back of his neck sheepishly, unable to come up with a suitable explanation for the heavily applied grey and white theatrical makeup. He quickly mumbled something largely incoherent about costumes and dress rehersal before pulling two slips of paper out of his pocket.
"I thought Heaven might like it as a late birthday gift, and it might not be so unpleasant for you either."
He pressed a pair of tickets to the musical CATS into her hand and winked slyly.
"Opening night is next Thursday, but these are good for any of the shows over the next month. The cast and crew wouldn't mind meeting you afterwards either."

Heaven turned around to notice Pire and smiled happily as she ran towards him, she was about to give him a hug but stopped herself afraid that she might make Pire jump and end up getting herself burned.
Hey Pire! How are you? I haven't seen you since the Valentines Day Event, I still have your Valentine! It's on my shelf by the others! I'll show it to you later since I don't really think that mom wants us to run upstairs and play just yet....
She than turned her head a bit to look at a rather nervous Nyoko.
You okay Nyoko?
She called out to him.
Kitty looked at the tickets and her mouth was wide and open as she looked back up at Leon!
Oh! My! Gosh! Leon! Thanks soooo much! Heaven's been dieing to see the play ever since she saw the comercial for it on TV! And I love the play too! I've already seen it three times! Hmmm! Well it sure does seem like just about everybody is here! Hold on a sec!
Kitty said winking back as she put the tickets down on the gift table with the rest of the gifts and than went over to the spot in the room where the stereo system was, and the microphone that Kitty had rented just for the special Event.

Kitty than turned on the microphone after she picked it up and started to talk so that she could get everybodys attention.
*Coughs* Hello there everybody! I would like to thank all the parents and friends of my daughter who came! And since everybody seems to now be here I would like to say that the real party will now begin! Now if one of the parents could please come up on stage to hold the other end of the limbo stick! And parents could play too with the children! And to whoever is holding the limbo stick would switch after a couple minutes of holding it and another parent will hold it! Now I would like all the children to please line up, but make sure Heaven gets to go first!
Said Kitty happily as she turned off the microphone and began to set up the correct music for the event.
Heaven jumped up and down excitely and quickly grabbed Pire's hand and than ran over to Nyoko and with her other hand grabbed his.
Come on guys! It's party time!
She said happily.

TV? Wow, the techies must have really outdone themselves this time! Seeing as Leon had never really gotten around to purchasing a television (and if he had, he probably wouldn't have used it anyway) he had never actually seen the commercial, but the concept was exiting all the same.
"I'll see you there." he managed to reply before she dashed off to start the party.
Pire yipped excitedly followed at Heaven's side, flashing a quick grin at Nyoko as the catboy was also dragged along for the ride.

Heaven ran up to the front of the stage and stood by the stairs waiting happily for her mother to say go and lets limbo!

Ava watched the developing buzz nervously, never having been a fan or large crowds or strange, unfamiliar people. For perhaps the hundredth time she wondered how she’d been convinced to leave the house, let alone attend a party where she didn’t know anyone; but then a demanding gurgle from the stroller served to remind her.
“Noa!!!” Isolde squealed from the other side of the room, fox ears swivelling atop her head before she turned and sped toward Ava and the babies. Bouncing frantically on her toes and offering her mother an innocent smile, Isolde asked – “CanIholdherandcanweplaylimbo? Pleasepleaseplease!?” the little girl begged, continuing to smile toward Ava.
Taking a moment to decipher what had been said; Ava nodded lightly and lifted a pink-haired infant from the stroller. Noa grinned toothlessly at her guardian, babbling happily as she was placed in Isolde’s arms. Squeaking with glee once more, a sound imitated awkwardly by Noa, Isolde moved to join the limbo line behind Pire and Nyoko. Vale soon joined his younger siblings in the queue.
Watching her daughters move away, Ava knelt and lifted two more children from the pram; two boys this time, one with a crop of bright blue hair, the other baring chestnut locks. With the boys balanced against her hips, the young woman moved to aid Kitty holding the limbo bar.
“W...would you mind holding one of the boys?” Ava stammered quietly, grey eyes glancing nervously toward Kitty, “then I can help you with the limbo stick”.((Some of Heaven's Bday presents can be found here. They are from the image of Cornelius upwards, excluding the picture of Spencer and Amelia of course xP I'm still waiting on the others >.<))

((Wow that's a lot of fish, you didn't have to get all of that! lol but they are all very cute!))
Kitty looked at Ava and smiled quickly putting down the limbo stick and running up to her.
Thankyou so much! So which one of your children would you like me to hold? And they are very cute by the way!
Said Kitty as she gave a caring smile towards the woman.

Ava returned the smile nervously, the tension coursing through her muscles lightening at the friendly smile. “E...either is fine” the young woman stammered in reply, with both boys possessing a calm demeanour. Finally Ava handed blue-haired child to Kitty. “His name is Vahn” was the soft introduction, “and this is Gala”. She was of course referring to the boy still resting against her hip. “The little girl is Noa” Ava finished, pointing to the giggling child in Isolde’s arms.
With one arm now free, the timid woman moved to grasp one end of the limbo stick. “Shall we s...start?” she asked, speaking to anyone who was listening.
((I know I didn't, but I couldn't choose between the fish because they all look awesome xP
Ohhh, and in case people missed my hint earlier; Ava is Cyn's younger sister ^^))

Kitty smiled and nodded, keeping a good but comfortable grip on Vahn.
Okay Kids! Lets play Limbo!
Said Kitty as she turned on the party music and picked up the limbo stick with Ava.
Heaven cheered as she clapped her hands and went under the stick, the first time was always the eastiest. It gets harder each time you go because it gets lower every turn.

Un-phased by the initial move from his stroller to his mother’s arms, this second shift proved no more challenging to weather then the first. Clinging lightly to the back of Kitty’s shirt with one hand, the infant amused himself by sucking on his balled fist as he watched the limbo players. The upbeat music soon brought a grin to his face, a steam of happy burbles and gurgle uttering themselves from his mouth.
Further back in the line Isolde laughed and danced in time with the music; twirling a delighted Noa with her as she moved. Even Vale’s tail began to bounce and bop in time with the rhythm, and soon the motion had travelled through to his hips and feet until the boy was dancing as enthusiastically as his sisters.
((Obviously it wasn't a very good one xP I think it was in one of Ava's earlier posts ^^))

Kitty smiled as she watched the children go underneath the limbo stick and than looked at Vahn.
Wow, holding a child again sure does remind me of when Heaven was just a little baby angel girl.
She said to Ava happily as she was that Ava's children were next on line to go underneath the limbo stick.
Once your children go underneath the stick we bring it down a knotch. Well what am I saying? You probably already know how the game works.
