He meet his match, then again he was a king. Edgeworth's eyes looked at the knight again. He didn't seem to like him for some reason. Wait a second...Where where you is a good question.Miles walked up to the knight, and studied him. The knight was unmoveing, but Edgeworth saw it in his eyes. Saw something that that didn't look right. He moved away in deep thought. Dare he press further here...He looked at Serah...If he doesn't he would regrete it. "Sir." He addressed the knight now. "If you where to protect the princess and prince...Why didn't I see you? You know full well that I could have harmed her, or him. Why where you no where near the halls, and don't tell me you where silent, because I've proven how well my hearing really is." Edgeworth asked. This would be his last question. He felt that feeling again. That unsafe feeling, and wanted to dart at Serah to protect her, but he stood his ground. Sudden movement in this case was also very very bad, and that's when it dawned on him. The man he picked up to ask about being a knight was not this man...But the king sent this man...Edgeworth found where the set up was now. This man was behind something, and Edgeworth stood very still in order not to prevoke this man.
The knight turns and bows towards all the royals. "I would put my life on the line if I knew they were in danger. Which I also offer up my life in the fact that I failed my crown in protecting them." The knight straightens and then looks back across the room. "God save the King. Long live his heirs."

Upon this declairation. Miles attempted to calm himself. His feelings must be mixed up.
"Forgive me." He spoke softly. "Due to the recent event I've become...A bit jumpy." He tried to explain himself.
He looked over at Serah.
I'm must look so foolish right now.
"My reactions are done because I've-
To tell the king how I feel about his daughter may not be so smart...
been attack, and believe it or not I think I subconsciencly believe that the prince and princess' safty is somehow part of my responsibility from that inncident." Edgeworth had played his role here rather well.
Being an attorny made it so he could hide all his feelings, despite the fact they felt as if about to pour out at any time. Edgeworth bowed to the king.
"Forgive me sire, I'm out of line. I do not wish you to hate me for anything that I have said, but-
He said still in a bow. He almost looked at the king with his piercing cold eyes, but his body once again knew better not to.
I wish to take the punishment for what the prince and princess' have done. It is my wish after protecting your heir." He stated.

The punishment, my children shall recieve is not one forced upon them by the crown, more like a concerned father. My son, shall be required to always have a least one guard, there with him. Majority of the time that guard shall be in disquise that way, any more attempts will think that he is unprotected." The king gives a level gaze on his son.The prince gives a bow to the king. "As you wish father."
The king then begins talking. "As far as the princess, she will be assigned a new assistant and will be required to always have her in attendance along with at least one guard, in uniform. Also all events she will attend shall be monitored closely and checked for security before attendance will be granted." He gives a level gaze on his daughter.
"Also more guards maybe in attendance with them. Theat shall depend on what they are doing." The king looks to his children and Miles again. "You are all dismissed now."

Sarah opens her mouth to protest and then closes it. "Yes father." Sarah says curtsying and then heading over to embrace her father, before walking from the room.

Miles looked up at his chance. His face was no longer cold but changed to an almost cry for help.
"Let me be her assistent." It was the only thing he could say.
He went into thought again, and his composure changed.
"What about you? You are protecting your children, but your saftey matters also." Miles pointed out. "Please if you punish the soilder let it by I who gets the whip for it." He asked the king.

Miles Edgeworth Prosecuto Miles looked up at his chance. His foce was no longer cold but changed to an almost cry for help. "Let me be her assistent." It was the only thing he could say. He went into thought again, and his composure changed. "What about you? You are protecting your children, but your saftey matters also." Miles pointed out. "Please if you punish the soilder let it by I who gets the whip for it." He asked the king. Reggie bows and then walks over to embrace his father, also walking from the room. The king shakes his head. "I am not going to punish him, he did as I have told him, and I do not put myself in as much danger as my children do. If anyone shall be punished it shall be the two guards that lacked the properness to stay with my son. As far as being my daughter's assistant. I do not know. I can see that you've already proven your loyalty to her, but I need to know that you are properly trained and she needs a female assistant to help her with her dressing and maintaining everything. Please now, you are dismissed." The King says, the last part as an order. If Miles doesn't he bows towards the guard to escort him out.

Miles turned a slight red when the king talked about the changing part Miles didn't think of that. He smiled and bowed to the knight, and as he walked out with him.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that to you. I'm just...Perhapes...Scared of what will happen to the children." He admited. "How do you think I can prove myself to the king?" He asked the knight. "Could you help me?" He asked.

"The healer saved my life there...But I thinnk I would like you to teach me anything you can. Fighting for that matter...I may be a fencer, and a gunnmen, but in this case...I'll get in harms way to protect Serah....The princess and the prince, but if I die...Then I won't be able to." He voice changed from cold to warm as he spoke. "Show me how you fight." He asked the knight.

Miles laid down, but didn't close his eyes. He was to wide away for that, but tried to sleep anyway. It took about 15mints for him to slowly go limp, and start to fall asleep. Where's my gun? He asked hismelf. He jolted awake, and padded himself down. It had been missing sience he took off his shirt.  He looked around frantically trying to find it. He then left to find the medical aid. Sherri was her name he thought.

The guards outside his door stopped him when he stepped out. "Where are you going sir? You should have all you need in the room." He says nodding back to him.

Miles scowled for a bit, then went back inside. He looked around to escape, but couldn't find any means to. Then saw a saber hanging on the way. He took a chair, stood on it, and took it down. It was better then nothing. He found himself feeling safe, and went to sleep rather easily.
