Briar nodded before setting his chin on Kechara's head. With one arm snaked around her, he pulled her closer, though not so close that her head was smashed against his chest - he certainly didn't want to suffocate her! "All right then," he said softly. "Let's find a nice place to sleep then."

Kechara blinked, surprised it had not taken more to convince him, she nodded against his chest, enjoying the warmth of being near him. "Mm..." She mumbled, "Where?" She extended her wings a bit, encircling them both, "I like it here..." She mumbled, eyes closed.
Truly, where would they go? It wasn't as if they needed to go anywhere right now. She was so comfortable too. To know that someone wasn't put-off by her nature made her heart soar, and to know that he would always be there...she wasn't sure she could get any happier.

Briar nodded. He supposed this was indeed a perfect place to nap. The sun above them was warm, fighting off the chill that lingered from the winter months. The lake provided a soothing sight. He liked this place. But it was even better having Kechara there with him.

Kechara vaguely registered Briar nodding, she was almost asleep herself. She opened a single eye, looking uo at him from her position half-covered in red fur, "Sleep now?" She murmured, pressing against him so they could lie down and wouldn't fall asleep while sitting up. She'd get off of him so she wouldn't crush him with her weight, (wings were heavy too) but she'd rather not have cramped muscles when waking up.

Briar blushed lightly, embarrassed for having not realized they should probably lay down rather than sleep sitting up. He fell back Kechara pressed against him, slowly to avoid crashing against the ground. He pulled Kechara down with him so she half lay on him. Nuzzling his head against her neck again, he was ready to sleep as well.

Kechara smiled, eyes still closed, and extended one wing to cover them and hold off the winter chill. She breathed in again, drinking in his scent and allowing it to lull her into sleep. She lips twitched into a rueful smile, "I wonder what Ryuune and Nalikai are going to say when they find out..." She said absently, nuzzling against his chest, "And Skan too." She knew they wouldn't be angry, she knew they wanted the best for her like any brothers, and it wasn't as if she had found some random numa to get together with.

Briar was beginning to drift off to sleep when he heard her comment. Ryuune, he knew, wouldn't be angered over though relationship. If anything, Briar thought the snake-ish Numa would be happy that both of them had found a good mate. Nalikai and Skan were a completely different story. He had only met them once, and he wasn't sure if either of them really liked him.
"I guess we'll find out how they'll react when we tell them," he said. "That is, if and when you want to tell them."

Kechara chuckled softly, almost asleep herself, "Nalikai will probably wink at me and grin that sneaky grin of his and Skan..." She pursed her lips then smiled, "He'll probably grin and thank you, scolding me about why it took so long for me to find someone like you while simultaniously ordering that you treat me right and threatening to skin you if you ever hurt me." She sighed, "All in his little accent too, so it'll be a bit difficult to understand him." She mumbled something inaudible and snuggled deeper into his warmth, able to hear his heartbeat, which made her smile widen. "I'll see you when I wake up, Briar." She mumbled, releasing her last hold on consiciousness. She knew he'd be there, and would always be.

Briar had to chuckle at her explanation of how they would react. "Well, to put Skan's mind at ease, I have no intention of ever hurting you," he said. Nuzzling her again, he gave her a little lick of affection. "I'll be right here beside you when you wake up, Kechara," he murmured softly before falling Kechara into pleasant dreams.
