"Not that I know of. Some of my patrols are still out there, coming in. Present Wyvern strength is at four thousand. We could hold. But not for long. Besides, we could just leave. Not that hard when you're airborne."
He looked again off to the side, and motioned for Toleranth and his children to follow. A squad of dismounted Wyverns fell into lock step, in a body guarding formation for Toleranth's children.
Once outside, he focused and then chanted the spell and a swirling portal opened, showing a large field outside of the town that Auren had relocated Alhana to. Alhana was on the otherside, chanting as well.
"Step on through, and welcome to Pearle... or Houka... or whatever, Tolly." Auren said with a grin. A matrix of magic was flowing between his gauntlet and claw, and streamed around the gate.

"Just don't do something stupid like get yourself killed Auren, we don't need to bury you a second time before the last hu rah."
Tolly took his childrens hand ans walked them through the portal.
"It took longer then normal Alhana, but I got what I wanted, and I would like to introduce Hiyru, my son, and Yumiru my daughter."

"Dun worry about me. I don't plan on dying, and this crazy body of mine doesn't plan on it too. It's like when I was human, adrenal rushing. Except... Like... Better. That and I can maintain an adrenal rush for three to five minutes. It's insane. Well, I'll tell you more later." Auren then motioned to the Wyverns, and Alhana with Auren both tripled the gate's size, so that it could fit five Wyverns abreast, and they slowly marched in, and scattered into a perimeter on the otherside. With that complete, Auren closed the gate on his side.
Alhana looked at the children and smiled. "Pleased to meet you, Master Hiryu, and Mistress Yumiru. Glad to see you're well."
((Whatever happened to Yami? She leik, disappeared.))

Ankhe watched the people in the room leave, one of them had been Lord Toleranth...
The shadow that contained her shivered with her, that had been a powerful portal. She stepped out of the shadows and inspected the room. Nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary, she'd heard what the man called Auren had said.
'So, we've got four hours, eh? I wonder if Mum knows...'
She sunk into a shadow on the floor and went back to the Tower.
Exiting the shadows next to her mother, the first thing she thought of was chaos. People were running everywhere, packing things and preparing to leave through the Tower Portal.
"Mum, a group of four people were in the castle when I shadowed in. I recognized one as Toleranth, the others I didn't know on sight but all of their names were spoken in the course of conversation. Auren Shiro appears to have sent Toleranth and his children Yamiru and Hiyru back to HQ."
Tsuki nodded to her daughter.
"Good work. We're almost ready to leave here."
Ankhe looked around again and noticed how no one was fighting at all...it was and organized chaos that she somehow doubted had come about naturally...

((Yay! Preparation to get the harpy box in play!))
Lyric and Asuka entered the castle cautiously. What caught their attention immediately was the smell of rotting corpses. The courtyard was riddled with bodies of demons and humans alike.
"What on earth went on here?!" Lyric exclaimed.
Asuka shook her head, the smell was so bad that she didn't want to waste breath on speaking.
"Let's go further in...this smell is horrible."
They traveled into the castle, the corridors were little better. It looked as though someone had straightened the human bodies, but the demon corpses were apparently left where they'd fallen.
They walked up a few flights of stairs, the third floor seemed relatively clear and they entered a room to rest for a while.
--------------------------
In the Tower, Tsuki's amulet glowed blue again.
'It seems my castle has become a haven for travelers...'
Aloud she said, "Ankhe! I want you to go back once more and check to see who's in the castle this time. We've got a little more than two hours now, be back as fast as possible."
"Yes, Mum."
Ankhe heaved a sigh and went back to the castle.

Nadira sighed and cast a sullen look at the group of men retreating.
"It appears I was mistaken, We heard the commotion and misiterpreted it as yet another battle. Despite my wounded pride, I'm relieved to see it was little more than a few drunken hotheads."
After Ankhe left she was left alone with Freya one again. Or not, the Dryad had wandered off somewhere. Probably to search for Shavas before they left through the portal.
--------------------------
Jadira smiled with triumph as she ran her hands through Freya's auburn locks. Her one time teacher was bound and gagged at her feet. The knots were pulled so tight that blood quickly soaked through the thick rope and trickled down her arms.
Freya's eyes were wide with shock as she struggled against her bonds in vain. The dryad still hadn't seen her captor. Although Jadira doubted that freya would remmember her anyways. She left Jadira soon after her coronation without even saying goodbye. Maybe Laos wanted Shavas's daughter for revenge on his disloyal servant, but Jadira wanted Freya in their grasp just as much as he. For much more personal reasons.
The Queen of Esperanza's sense was still befuddled by the overwhelming power of her previously dormant demonic side. Any humanity left in this body had long been overwhelmed and choked off. With the aid of Yamishiro's spell of course. Freya began screaming against the gag. The sound was barely audible, but still dangerous. Jadira wrapped her musculed bicep around her neck and hoisted her up. The Dryad began chocking and stared thrashing even more.
"Now be good my pet." She whispered into one pointed ear, " I won't hurt you unless it proves neccesary for a clean escape. Don't try my patience, I won't lie and say I don't want to hurt you. Because I do, but I'll be fair."
Freya nodded as best as she could and didn't even let out a grunt as the demonness dropped her to the cold floor. She watched Nadira leave through her tears and prayed that the others wouldn't be caught in the demon lords trap. Golden orbs narrowed with determination, she lashed out with her feet and knocked a heavy iron bowl from is pedestal, it clashed to the floor with a deafening crash.
Hissing between her teeth, Jadira grabbed Freya's head and smashed it against the wall. She managed to control her boiling rage enough to avoid killing the bothersome woman. Tossing her limp form over a shoulder she noticed a smear of blood across the stone. Jadira cursed, it would be a long time before she woke up.

((Bah. You leave no room for creative license! -shrug- Do you particularly want Jadira to be chased?))
Ankhe entered the castle once through the shadows once again. This time she knew that the presence wasn't threatening because she could sense it. The previous presences had been to difficult to place...perhaps they had been covered by something? It was a thought for another time...
Exiting the shadows swiftly, she came upon two women resting in a room on the third floor.
((Do you want Asuka back or shall I continue to drag her, Faith?))

((I didn't mean...bah. W/e. You want Shavas to come after them, right? Why not have -her- 'sense' something off?))
"So, who're you then?" Ankhe asked from behind the two women.
They both jumped and swung around.
"Who are you?" The purple haired one asked.
"I'd be Ankhe, daughter of Tsuki. I've come from that old Tower over there to see if you need help."
The purple one nodded and she relaxed, "Thank the gods then. We have important information for you regarding some important people. I'm Lyric the Soul Piper. My companion is Asuka the...anti-necromancer?"
She looked at Asuka questioningly, "Is that right?"

Asuka shrugged, "Not exactly, but close enough. I serve the three fates. Its my job to help preserve the balance between the two planes. The balance is thrown off when a soul is pulled back into the world of life. Its complicated and definatly a conversation for another time."
She bowed at the waist, "I am pleased to meet you Ankhe, as my friend Lyric said, we come bearing very important information. Some good, alot of it bad. Events are winding down a dangerous path. The demon lord was not supposed to return. This should have ended after his and the priestess' deaths."
She closed her eyes, recalling the sister's words. She had run them through her mind a million times since their departure. Worrying that she might forget something important, she need not have bothered. The words were branded into her memory and refused to budge. She had a feeling the twin's had a hand in that, but despite her dislike of being bewitched by the likes of them, Asuka had felt not but relief after making the discovery.

((OMFGWTFBBQ Yami is back! Yeh know, it's never been the same without you...))
Auren closed the gate as the last Wyvern passed through, when he heard Yami's call.
Alhana! I think I found Yami! Tolly's wife!
Say what?
Hang on, I'll there soon! Don't tell him. It may not be her.
Okay. If you say so...
Auren nodded, and started in search of Yami. That was a pretty wide shout as he could tell. His... new body gave him extensive telepathic control over the Wyverns. He never excersised that control on his troops. He trusted them and they trusted him. They trusted eachother with their damned lives.
Auren walked through the corridors, occasionally calling out Yami's name, regardless of new inhabitants, or the invading military that was coming.

When no one answered Yami got very discouraged and she sighed quitetly. Then she decided to try calling out again.
Please someone if you hear me, please answer. My name is Yami..and I'm rather lost.
(I won't leave again, not if my life depended on it)

"Yami. Can you hear me? It's Auren. Yeah, I know I'm supposed to be dead, but a lot of stuff has happened. I'm gonna take you to Toleranth. Okay? Just either keep yelling, or do something, and I'll come to you? Alright?" Auren called back.
Alhana, can you tell Tolly that I'm gonna grab Yami, and teleport back. I don't want to risk another Gate.
Right. I'll update him.
Thank you love.
Anything for them. They deserve it.
Auren drew his sword, and proceeded down the corridors, trying to coax Yami to talk more so that he could find her sooner.

"Toleranth...Tolly" she spoke softly. How long had it been since she had seen her husband, the love of her life? Too long she thought. Where were their kids? She couldn't rmembered, and as a mother, and the type of person she was that scared her out of her mind. But Sir Auren was coming, she'd be safe now.
"Sir Auren! What is this place?" she shouted as loudly as she could, hoping someone else didn't find her before he did, that would not end well.
