I have a guild that is needing to be redone.I am thinking of making it a Harry Potter Roleplaying Guild.Can anyone say affiliations?

OLLIVANDER'S WAND SHOP!
lol.
Now that I've got your attention. Let me clear my idea with you guys first. I was thinking we could open an Ollivander's Wand Shop and give people wands! It would be randomized somewhat though I think, if we could find a way to do that. We could find an artist and they could just make a base picture, and add things on depending on the qualities of the wand. Maybe we could make multiple wand threads so we could have a little variety. (Like the real wizarding world). Of course the artist would have to be quick drawer and would charge for their services. But I think it's a good idea in principle. We could put the wands in our siggys!

It's a good idea... Minus the multiple threads. We have too many stickies as it is. We could open a "shop" and just have multiple artists in that one shop. That way you can pick which "style" of wand you want. Like what Olivander mentioned in the weighing of wands in the fourth book.
The person would, of course, be able to choose their own wood and core... It's only fair. Then they pick the style, and such...
Free for guild member's, of course.

majestueux Empress_Kat Okay, that post-editing thing is creepy... but rather amusing, too. Oh, and I was trying to post a new topic, which included a poll, and it keeps saying 'Error in Posting'. Do polls not work, or is this a gaia thing, or am I doing something wrong, or what? Anyone know? I think it's a gaia thing. It wouldn't work for me in regular forums either. Yup. I think the fanatic deserves some sort of house point prize... Say, If they can last for 5 questions, they get a 5 point prize... and then an additional 2 points for each question after... Or something like that.

I've got a suggestion! You see, what with all the stickies and such, this guild has gotten really complicated and such. So, my suggestion is that newbies, if they want, can get a buddy/helper/veteran person to show them the ropes, as they say. Or at least a topic on tips for getting around the guild.
