Poor Jake! The whole thing is, remember that he just turned into a werewolf too. His emotions are highly unstable. He DOES love the HELL out of Bella, even though she and Edward are meant to be together. The thing with her bike was his way of trying to protect her, even if he had to hurt her. He KNOWS he can't be around her anymore, but he's gonna make one last ditch attempt to keep Edward far from her, so that she can stay alive and human. He's doing what he THINKS is right, even if it's not right in the eyes of all the big Edward Fans. I was totally in Edward's side until I got to see more of Jacob in New Moon. I understand him a great deal more, and I like him, because he is every bit as doting and in love as Edward, but he's not as DRAMATIC. Gah. I LOOOOOVE Edward, but sometimes I wanna smack him. I felt the same way abotu Jake at the end of New Moon. He's still wonderful, it's just HIS TURN to make the bad decision!

Compulsive Heartbraker I'm sorry,
Jacob was nice at the beggining,
But in New Moon he was really starting to tick me off.
By the end of it, I really wished that he hadn't exsisted.
Anybody in Bella's like the wasn't Edward, just seemed so hanus.
They weren't even able to stay friends!
What do you think? i agree with you, I didnt mind him in the beginning, but as the story progressed, he became so annoying, and at the end of new moon just about ruined everything, really dont like him now.

GaBbYmEnTaL Jacob was nice when he was basically helping Bella get better and stuff but when she said she started to fall in love with him I wanted to kill him D<
She couldn't fall in love with him! And he wanted Edward to leave her and that just ended it for me. totally true

I got really mad at the end of New Moon.
He was a good person in Twilight.
I like him as Bella's friend, not Bella's wannabe boyfriend.
It was good of him to make Bella feel better.
I don't like him being a werewolf either. So he can't be friends with Bella.

Jacob annoyed me a bit when he told on Bella...i mean he broke his promise! he knew Bella was thinking about him cuz she kept calling. . .
but I have also realized why Jacob acted the way he did
he and Bella knew each other longer
Bella would rather be with Edward because he's hotter and 'dazzles' her

Jacob is still cool.

He's in love. I sympathize with him even though Bella and Edward are made for each other, practically. Well, not quite, but I support their relationship more.
Jacob would never hurt Bella on purpose. Edward already did. D<
But love hurts. Ugh.

I somewhat appriciate him for what he did for Bella, but after a while he turned into a complete a*****e and I hate him. he always assumes Edward is so terrible for bella, like hello I'd like to see your wolfy arse save her day in and day out and glitter to boot. -Rabid Edward Fangirl-

Am I the only one who found the Jacob & motorcycle revenge thing hilarious at the end???
I really didn't care much about him in Twilight but I started to understood him [and liked him] more in New Moon.Sure he was nice in the beginning but then started to become annoying but hey,that's just who he is & how he acts.He saved Bella many times including from herself.If it wasn't for him,Bella would've hurted [or even killed] herself earlier becuz of Edward's absense to be there with her.And it's pretty obvious why he hates Edward,I mean he LOVES Bella too & he's a werewolf [it's sorta just like natural instinct for him to hate vampires...]
Other than that,sure he can't be as hot or as romantic as our beloved Edward but he is who he is...Jacob Black.
And I luv that guy ^_^

Hate him!!! And I'm sorry to Jacob lovers out there but I want him to DIE!!!! Lol, that's too much of hatred for a fictional character, but still....
I don't really remember what it is that ticked me off about him, but I really just want him to DIE!!!!
He was ok in Twilight, but he drove me up the wall in New Moon.... argh!!! scream

The only reason jacob was important was to tell bella about the Cullens before she knew almost everything. After that, I hated him. He's an annoying twerp. :] I really think he's the worst character EVER. I hope he dies in Eclispe. :]

i thot jacob was rilly nice but wen he becam a warwolf his attetud changed i meen his all (i need to protect the treety above you sorry bells )and am i the only 1 who wants to kill jake cuz he calles bella his honn he says ( ok bella honny but come back hir 1st thing tomaro ok bella honny ) scream like who dose he think he is !!!!!!!!!!!

well, he's only doing the things he does out of love for bella, and this story well proves that loves makes you do crazy s**t. so i will tolerate him as long as he doesn't really ruin bella and edwards relationship again. but the story needs a character like him to keep things intersting, and thats what jake did, so i pat him on the back for that.
all in all, we hate him yet we love him. it's kinda like having a little brother all over again!!! sweatdrop

I despise Jacob. I want him to get eaten by another werewolf or something, 'cause he has it coming. He's not nice at all, plus he was trying to steal Bella from Edward by the end of New Moon when Edward was back, so...
