Cameron slowly got up from his bed, barely remembering the happenings of the night before. He was like this every morning, out there, barely in reality. He slowly got up like any other day, stretched out, took off his clothes and walked to the shower which was down the hall. The only thing he truly did not remember was that Kat was currently residing with them. He walked to the shower, turned on the water, did his toiletries, took his shower, went to the kitchen, got breakfast, got coffee and that was when it hit him in the back of the head. Had he just flashed Kat? He nearly spit out his coffee as he grabbed his hair in confusion and frustration and let out a scream.
Three houses down, a man named Bill woke up, sat down with his family and they all heard the scream as they continued with their breakfast. A couple seconds after the scream Bill said casually "I didn't know that Cameron was back in town."

Kat turned her head to Cameron when he woke up, but she didn't get a word in. Had he just stripped in front of her? No...He didn't..Did he? Her eyes were wide, her mouth was open, gaping at the fact her nurse had just walked around infront of her, naked. The monkey was the same way, he let out a squeak as he looked to Kat. Kat's face went red with embarrasment, and she slowly got out of bed when she heard the scream, grabbing the empty plate and glass. Her mouth was still open, but she was now pale and drained. She headed down hall way and into the kitchen to see Cameron. Glass and plate in had as she moved to the sink and set them in there. She turned to Cameron and tried not to burst out into laughter. "Um..." she said, trying not to sound rude. Rubbing the back of her head, she blushed. "I think I forgot to tell you that I don't sleep...And I think you, um...Realize what just happened." she said, now holding back the laughter. She put her hand over her mouth, and giggled softly. But she could supress it no longer, she just burst out into laughter, no longer able to supress it. She couldn't help it, it was completely and utterly funny, and she had to laugh. She soon regained composure, and moved her bangs from her face. "But it's okay...I think." she said softly.

He buried his head into his arms as he said "I... really didn't remember you were here. I am so sorry." He was laughing too, but he kept trying to tell himself that it was not funny. He then looked up and murmured "Did you, uhh... see..." He then stopped his face turning into a red hot ball of fire, and he again buried it into his arms.

Kat put a hand on his shoulder, and to spare him the embarrasment she shook her head no. "I didn't see that. But I did see your bum." she said giggling. "I think Jack the monkey was more damaged then I was." she said smiling. She wasn't going to tell him that she did infact see...It. "Just calm down. This will be our little secret. Just next time you decide to walk about naked, warn me first. And I'll cover my eyes." she said giggling again before she went back to the sink and began to wash her dishes. She stopped for a moment to pull up the pants that were falling down her own bum, but luckly nothing was shown. "You wear comfortable clothes." she said softly, smiling as she looked over her shoulder, as she washed the dishes. She shook her head slightly, laughing as she did.

"Yes, but we need a belt for those comfortable clothes." He said as he watched her fumble the pants. He was still wildly embarresed, but just happy that she didn't see... it. He wasn't very friendly to the fact that he was now flashing children like some sort of deranged rapist or pedaphile. He then got up and took his coffee cup over to the counter as he asked "Want some breakfast?"

Kat smiled, laughing slightly, "I haven't ever worn a belt. And I've worn some baggy clothes before. So this is nothing. I'll be fine." she said smiling as she wiped off her hands. She turned and looked to him, thinking. "I don't know. I ate a lot of cookies while you were sleeping...With that sock over your eyes. That was quite odd. If I do say so myself." she said giggling. "You don't have to be...So...Curtious...I've got a bunch of cameras in my main room so I'm used to it. Plus, I trust you so I feel nothing to worry about." she said giving a kind smile and a slight shrug. Kat made a soft whistling noise and the monkey came running out, hopping up onto Kat's shoulder. He looked at Cameron and smiled a silly smile, a squeak emerging from his mouth. "What are the plans for today?" she asked, as the monkey played with her bangs.

"I'm going to work, and you shall spend an entire day with Mom. She will help you with the feel of being outside." He said as he put his coffee cup into the sink and walked over to the front door. He grabbed his stuff as he then opened the door and waved goodbye to Kat. As he left, Mom slowly walked inot the kitchen fully dressed. She smiled over to Kat and asked "We have a lot to do today."

Kat's heart sunk, she didn't want to be alone with such a kind lady. Kat didn't know what to expect or how to act or what to do if her empathy or bloodlust were to get the best of her. Her mouth dropped a little but she waved back, and let her hand fall to her sides as she turned to Mom with a smile. "Like what?" she asked, trying to sound enthusiastic. She was beyond worried about so many things that she didn't know what to worry about first. She moved some hair out of her face, shoving her hands in her pockets, a comfortable position in which she found suitible for standing. She was scared that Mom would get hurt, or worse, the whole town. Kat hadn't been around just humans, not all alone. She hadn't even been outside. She let out a sigh and looked to the floor, afraid that her eyes might change colors.

"We have to cook. Someone has to prepare dinner. First though, we have to walk down to thee grocery store." She slowly walked over to the door and pushed it open as she said "Don't be afraid, you're with me." She walked it into the sunlight and watched as kids ran by playing basketball and adults sat on their porches enjoying the day.

~{Well, Cameron is going back to the asylum, so you can interact with him. And I'll see what I can do, I think I know a few people that might be willing to join. I'm still sorry about just leaving you though. v.v}~
Kat thought about cooking, it didn't seem to hard, but then again, she'd only watched the lunch ladies prepare small meals like salads and grilled cheeses. So she really didn't know what she was getting herself into. She snapped out of her worried state and looked at the door, then back at Mom for a moment. She had a blank and dazed look on her face, and yet she stepped forward. "Alright. I won't be afraid.." she said softly. She headed out the door and stood close to Mom, Kat's eyes wandering about the scenery. She squinted at the bright sunlight, but soon her eyes readjusted and she got used to it. She looked at all the kids running around, laughing, and having fun, and all the adults stitting on their porches, kind smiles on their faces. This kind of made her upset that she didn't have a life like that, but she shrugged the feeling off and waited for Mom to lead the way, for she didn't know it. She felt awkward, being so pale and skinny, while everyone here was normal sized and either tans skinned or african american. Plus, she didn't see anyone with multi-colored hair like herself. She felt like all eyes were on her, and she felt uncomfortable, but she focused on the sidewalk, keeping all the emotions about her under control.

A young group of boys walked up to Mom as they said "Hey, she picked up another skinny white kid!" They laughed a bit, but Mom simply put her hand up to her lips, and they immediately stopped. "I meant that you had the kindness in your soul to pick up another young caucasian orphane." She let out a small giggle as she said "This is Kat, and if any of you give her a hard time then you will be answering to me!" She then walked on and said "Don't mind them, they are good kids. They just havve their head in the wrong place."

Kat looked at the kids, and at first she felt angry, but then she felt sad. Then they mensioned her being an orphane, and she ran a hand through her hair. "I'm not an orpahne. I just...Don't remember my parents.." she said, her voice getting quieter at the thought of that last sentence. She'd never thought about it all that much, but she then realized that she really didn't remember her parents. How could someone forget their parents, their family and home? Sure she was only four or so...But still. She snapped out of it and followed Mom, looking at the kids for a breif moment before her eyes fell to the cement. She didn't respond to Mom's sentence, but merely thought about it. She didn't know what it was like to have a mother or father, sisters or brothers, even friends really. She didn't know what it was truely like out in the world, and she wasnt' normal. Her eyes changed colors, but she didn't seem to notice, as she looked up, dark violet eyes now glistening in the sun.

Mom looked down at Kat and then said "It's fine if you don't know your parents. Sometimes it hurts less. Cameron knew his parents, and all they caused him was pain." She then stopped as they had walked about two blocks and made it to the grocery store. She then walked inside and asked Kat, "Now today I will teach you how to make a salad."
