Ambrose hurried to Rachel's side, but his steps faltered as he saw the mess within. It wasn't like he hadn't seen the first guard.... but he wasn't ready to see the mess that was in the driver's seat. As if Jamal hadn't done enough damage with the mauling, the car wreck had totaled the man's face. The adrenaline in Ambrose's system seemed to drain out as his stomach lurched.

He hesitated, looking to the unfamiliar large girl askingly.

Rachel forced herself to bite her tounge again, as the guard swore at her. She didn't much care for swearing in general, albeit unusual for a teenager, but she hated even more, being sweared at. She glared at the guard out of the corner of her eye, before Ambrose came up next to her. Even through his animalistic features, Rachel could tell looking at the body bothered him. She wasn't fond of it either, but she'd seen her Grandmother skin goats and sheep for wool and meat, so she was at least somewhat used to the sight of blood, though an animal wasn't quite the same as a person.

"You don't have to if you don't want to," she said, slightly uncertain. "I think I can manage on my own if it bothers you..."

Amaya turned back around to face the guards and folded her arms, Donner's leash still wrapped tightly around her long fingers. "Well no I haven't and you must not be all that concerned for the rest of us if I haven't heard some booming announcement telling me to watch out for the Big Bad Wolf!" The girl retorted, only giving a glance to Rachel and Ambrose before looking back at the guards.

"All I know of is that Jamal has apparently been picking you asshats off left and right! Well CONGRATS for him!" Amaya gave an almost insane grin and clapped her hands sarcastically.

After having realized that she could never have the one thing she wanted: normal children, she really didn't care anymore. Hell, she would go around killing them off too if she could for punishment for what they had done to her. What the had ALL done to her. They all deserved to die.

Ambrose shaked his head quickly, not about to let a girl show more resolve than he. "No.... no it's alright." He said, half to himself. He had seen dead animals before.... he had killed animal before in the jungle... but it was different to see a man killed like this.... and then have to touch it. Come that close to his own mortality. And Jamal had threatened him..... while the guard didn't have teeth or claws to defend himself.... Jamal... Jamal was unchipped... and the guard had a gun....

It was true, Jamal had gone insane.

Ambose moved and went to lift one side of the likely-dead guard. "You got it?" He asked Rachel with a small voice.

He looked over to Amaya, who seemed to be launching into hysterics. At least she was up... about.... he hadn't seen her since..... since..... the cafeteria.... he gave another shudder. But regardless of what the labs were doing.... Jamal wasn't going about it the right way!

The guard opened the door in preparation for Garrison's body and sneered at Amaya.

"Well you'll be sorry to say that when the damn wolf goes for YOUR throat." He spat. "Thanks to US risking OUR damn necks to keep you "precious subjects" safe." the guard waved his gun at Amaya for emphasis.

Rachel nodded, biting her lower lip, before grabbing the other end of the guard. She looked over her shoulder a moment at the iguana girl who was talking rather...strangely, before returning her attention to the task at hand. With a slight grunt, she hoisted her end of the body, and started moving towards the jeep that would take him and other other man back to the labs.

"Right, right." Amaya just rolled her eyes. If Ambrose hadn't mentioned her himself then she probably wouldn't have believed it. She still didn't know if she did or not. Since when did a raging wolfish lunatic spring up over night?

With a snort she turned again and headed in the direction of her duplex.

With Rachel's help, Ambrose managed to maneuver the body into the backseat of the jeep and closed the doors, then backing away quickly. He looked warily at the gun in the guard's hands, but it seemed pretty obvious that he wasn't actually going to use it.

Once the pair were secured into the Jeep, the guard who had gotten out of the car got back in, and without bothering to say any sort of parting to the group, urged the driver to get back to the labs on the double - before the murderous tiger or deranged wolf showed up.

The driver didn't need any more encouragement, and as quickly as they had shown up, the guards were gone.

Rachel also backed away from the jeep, but not before giving Anatoli a glance. She hoped the man would be ok. She doubted his face would ever be the same regardless.

She looked at the guard, who now seemed occupied with getting back to the labs. He didn't seem to be in need of her anymore. The iguana girl was wandering away, which only left Ambrose, who after the encounter with the likely-dead guard, didn't seem like he'd probably want to hang around. Not that Rachel wanted to either. The only thing that sounded good to her right now was the peaceful oblivion of a dreamless sleep.

She started wandering away towards her duplex, where she had been heading when all of this happened. Rachel waved at Ambrose, and tried to give him at least a small smile as she left.

"I hope things get better...." she said quietly, to herself, and whoever else could hear her.

Ambrose heaved a huge breath as the Jeep pulled away. Now what..... he looked at the wreckage at the side of teh building. Crumbled siding covered the hood, and it was hard to tell just how damaged it was.

Ambrose was almost scared to look inside the building.

He nodded silently towards the girl he didn't know, and gave her a ghost of a smile in return - though it was a sullen one.

And then, heaving a preparatory sigh, he ventured to open the door to his duplex. The wall was cracked, and everything on the shelves of that half of the room had been knocked to the floors... but at least Angelina wasn't there...... and the damage looked repairable.

Perhaps there was a tiny upside to the buildings having been built like impeneratable cages. What he had cursed at during the lockout now kept a roof over his head and a lock on his door to keep the wild animals out.

Wrapping his arms around himself, he went inside and locked the door. Angelina either would have a key or she'd knock. And then, he went for the shower...... to try to deal with what just went down. Jamal.... Annie... the hatred on Amaya's face.... the mangled body in his arms..... everything was falling apart.
