my rant time xp

hmmm... well my school was on the news recently
there was a fight between blacks and hawaiins. anyways, the local news said it might be a racial issue. the news paper even had a lil comic of a lil black boy with a military helmet. the caption said "dad going to irac, son going to radford" (my school's named radford sweatdrop )
anyways, the idiots on the major news stations got the idea that it HAD to be a racial issue. in truth, it was just about where they lived. i think its great how news reporters love to inflate trivial acts with out backing it up with facts stare

People seem to be wanting to promote racism, it's not the first time I've heard something like this happen. I find it quite silly and it has no place anywhere. Bah. xp

the other day our school had sensitivity training sweatdrop
i had to ask my peers how it was since i slept through it
its people who promote things like that that cause harassment trials and increase racial issues. people who say that there is injustice are actually the ones that make people focus on race and sex. they also teach people to get offended easily. "if he looks at you strange and you feel uncomfortable, you can sue his a**" that is the type of crap i want removed from this world. though... that's just me... im only a simple minded youngster stare

Can't really help you with your friend, seeing as I have a couple of friends like that as well. sweatdrop

She's probably just worried, and that's one of the reasons why. Maybe if you found someone she knows and trusts to go with you, she'd change her mind? I know I can't go to a convention unless I go with someone my parents know and trust. And well... She doesn't know you're bi because you haven't told her... so yeah...

Oy. I agree with you, though. Who's goign to stop someone from looking at someone else? It's called a physical attraction, and everyone gets physically attracted to someone. It's only if they act upon it without your consent, only then can you do soemthing about it.

Too many frikkin' lawsuits for the most bullshittiest reasons nowadays. rolleyes

Oy. There's also a lot of sexism. Like, I don't see why guys can't wear make-up, dresses, skirts, and the likes. If they do, they're considered gay. And there's so much other s**t that makes no sense. Stupid sexism and racism.

stressed

Okay, I was having such a good day, until I came home and started talking to Emily. I told her of all the trophies my team just won today, and her reponce to it was, "OK." I got a lil' upset about it, but I decided not to lose it completely and be a bit sarcastic. I replied back to her with, "Oh gee, thanks a lot. *imitates Emily's voice* Congratulation, Liz." And she asked, "What did you expect of me?" i told her I expected some form of congrats, soemthign otehr than OK, because that just gves off the feeling that she really doesn't give a rat's a**. She asked, "since when does it matter what I think? It only maters what you think." I told her that it was just common certousy to say congrats or something, and just blew it off once more. I didn't tell her off to the point of cussing her out, but I did openly express my opinion of this (basically what I told her before). Shebasically called my a whiney baby hoping for her to say congratulations and that I shouldn't expect anything of anyone now.

Do I have a justifyable reason to be completely and utterly pissed about this? She's supposed to be my best friend from the 4th grade. She seemed to be in a bad mood, but does that justify for what she said/did not say?

Raaah! You know what I'm getting tired of?
People who constantly say something I do (usually whne I draw), is 'oh so great'! Yeah, that might sound like an odd thing to find annoying, but I just get the feeling they are being sarcastic, or at least not really meaning it. And then my friend, sweet as she is, says they are serious.
How I'd love to believe her, I just cannot do so.
I mean, back in first year, people also said they liked my art, and I believed them, but when I look back at it now, I really think they were just trying to be nice or something.
Now I don't know when to believe people or not!
If they hate something, say it straight to my face! That would just solve this entire issue! I hate it when people gossip behind my back. I'd rather have someone saying they hate me directly, instead of pretending to like me, and when I'm gone start saying 'stuff' about me!
How the f am I ever gonna know when they are being honest?

Raaah! I can't believe it ^^ My first online rant ever! xd
