Hairy Priest WhoGuru goddess_oraorchid - You squeal at anything David Tennet or Tom Baker Realted If you've watched "The Golden Voyage of Sinbad" more than 5 times just to see Tom Baker as the evil Wizard Koura! rofl Hey, it was the role that helped him land Doctor Who after all! So you HAVE to love it! blaugh I've never seen Sinbad, but I did rent "Nicholas and Alexandra" once just because Tom Baker and Michael Jayston (the Valeyard) were in it. Tom played an indestructible sex-crazed monk... mrgreen rofl I want to see that...

Ummm...I know there's a movie version of the "Canterbury Tales"...and it has Tom Baker in it....It's so old he doesn't have the famous horse grin teeth yet (all capped I guess! mrgreen ) and he's kinda lacking in the wardrobe department. As in NOTHING. burning_eyes

Oh, that can't be allowed. Tell me his hair's not all big and curly, though? 'Cos if it was, that movie would be a lethal weapon... can you imagine how many people would just die?

Oh boy... I knew someone who had a copy on video and she retaped it to make it run in very S-L-O-O-O-O-W motion all the time so she could drool over it. She was a fruitcake. She left her husband to spend time worshipping Tom Baker. Eirwyn, I'm not sure if you knew her or not. She was part of our local fandom.
P.S. I dig your new sig

Years ago, though, someone wrote a great piece of fan fiction where the wizard was actually the hero, and the real villain was the old king with the mask. It seems he was actually an evil alien who could only keep a human face for a short time, and the wizard Koura gets together with the Doctor to defeat him. "Nicholas & Alexandra" is a pretty good history film. Tom Baker was perfectly cast as Rasputin, who was instrumental in bringing down the Czar.

When you start quoting by accident! When you can't hear someone say something like "Such hard work," without it, ie., bringing to mind that slashy banter-thing between Jack and the Doctor. xd

I am going to have strange dreams tonight, yes indeed.
