Storm bit the bottom of her lip and walked to the other side of the room, the heals to her shoes clicking on the ground a little loudly. "So what exactly does he do in here?" She questioned, more to herself than anyone else. Might as well wait like Logan said. In the meantime, a little exploration couldn't hurt.

“Yeah, I’m ready. I wanna go fight bad guys too. I wanna go kick super-villain buttocks. You saw what I can do! Plus, I wanna go try out my new doohickeys.” She waved her new bracelets in the air. “Come on guys, you could you use someone like me, especially in a time like this.”

Traci's breath came out in a heavy mist. The cold weather only added to the ice man's brutally cold attack on the young pyro. It was so cold it actually hurt. She didn't want to die like this...freezing was not the way she had imagined going out...
Traci gritted her teeth as she began to push him instead of pulling away. He looked at her, a bit confused and yet still amused at her attempts to escape.
"Your parents...they were...burned alive, weren't they?" asked the ice man with a smirk on his face. Traci's expression dropped at the mention of her parents.
"Don't you EVER talk about them!" Traci shouted. Her flames were fueled with uncontrollable anger, and it was almost like an explosion went off inside of her, fire burst from every part of her body, thrusting the ice man away a few feet along with her flames that set the area within a ten foot radius on fire.
Right when it happened, Traci knew that it was bad. A fire had lit up a small newpaper stand on the sidewalk, not to mention a few signs and a bench. "Oh no..." she gasped, looking around. "No, no, no...not again..." she continued to say over again. She looked down at the ice man who was getting up from the ground slowly. He looked up at her and grinned evilly.
"You did it again..." he said. Traci didn't stay to hear anything else. She raced off down the first alley she saw, running as fast as she could to get away.

Later that day...
Spidey dropped from the sky onto the ledge of the roof, a bag of Zero's things stuck to his back. As he tugged the webbing free, Zero, literally, stepped out of the shadows by a large shack in the corner.
"Y'see, that's what I mean. You totally look like me! People will get confused."

"Confuse me for you, Web-slinger? I think not, you don't have the muscle tone."
Zero walked across the building towards Spidey.
"Thanks for this, it'd be hard to explain away all this stuff. Last thing I need is to be exposed, I only just started university."
Zero unzipped the bag and checked his stuff.
"Hey! Where's my mask?!"

"Damn."
Spidey lifted his shirt and pulled the mask out, and threw it to Zero.
"Mind if I ask a question? What are the balls in those neat little canisters?"

"Those're blackout bombs, they make massive clouds of dark smoke. They make enough darkness for me to teleport through, and make me very hard to see if I wanna fight."
Zero flipped open a hatch on the bottom of the canister and several small bombs fell into his hand.
"The round ones are breakable, they have a single shot, a thick cloud over a 10 meteres radius. These ones with the little extra bit are slow release, they make more smoke, that's thicker and lasts longer."

"Ah, what about those others? I saw more types in that other canister."
Spidey said, gesturing towards another of the small tubes in Zero's hands.

"Those are... experimental. A chaff, a real bomb, not very powerful though, and a flash bang. I've had some problems getting them all to work properly, since they're so small, they either explode in spectacular fashion or don't work at all. I'm getting there though."
Zero put the canisters back into the bag and zipped it up. Looking away to his left he could see a stream of flames flying between buildings.
"Looks like Nova is out and about, or is it Cannonball?"

"Could be the Torch" said Spidey, squinting to see in the glare of the setting sun.
"Nope, you're right. Nova. Anyways, gotta go, lotsa stuff to do. Places to go, super villians to hit, you know the deal."

Spidey jumped clean over the edge of the building and rose back into view, swinging from a web line.
Zero stepped back into the lee of the shack, and dropped his bag through a shadow under his bed, before returning to the roof. He felt the breeze pushing his cape around his legs and let himself lift from the rooftop.
"Where to first?" he whispered to himself, as he adjusted his position in the air, "I'll fly over the park first, I think."
As he finished his sentence, he let go of the 'brake' and shot up into the air. Considering his top speed was around Mach 500, Zero was still barely crawling along at 200mph. He turned upwards and by the time he heard the sonic boom, he was way above the city. He hovered in place for a second, but then rocketed down towards ground level. He pulled up about 400 metres above Central Park, and flew to the roof of a building on 5th avenue. He'd be able to wait here a while, just to keep an eye on things.

Zero sat out on the ledge for a few minutes, the sun falling lower in the sky, before he remembered the newspaper he'd read. The guy who got shot was here, the John Doe. He decided to see if he had been identified, or, even better, had come round yet.
He became intangible and fell through the floor of the building, until he found the right floor. He stopped the closest person in a white coat.
"Excuse me, Doctor. I was wondering if the John Doe, the guy who was shot a few days ago, I was wondering if his condition had improved?"
"Are you a relative, sir?"
"No, Doctor, I'm not."
"Then I'm afraid I can't go into much detail..." the doc checked over his shoulder, "but between you, me, and this pot plant, we still have no idea who he is, and his condition is unchanged."
"Okay, thank you very much." said Zero, becoming intangible again, and flying himself back up to the roof. Unfortunately his path wasn't empty, and a young man got quite a shock as a black shadow passed clear through his body, but Zero didn't slow down, he kept flying, until he was back where he started. Once back up in the open air, he settled down on the ledge and kept watch over the park for a while.

Barriss Offee “Yeah, I’m ready. I wanna go fight bad guys too. I wanna go kick super-villain buttocks. You saw what I can do! Plus, I wanna go try out my new doohickeys.” She waved her new bracelets in the air. “Come on guys, you could you use someone like me, especially in a time like this.” "First of all, lightning rod, you need to learn to control what you got," Logan explained, sounding eerily like Professor Xavier. "Which is why, when we are done here, we're headed to the Danger Room." Looking over to Deadpool, he said, "You're coming with us, 'Pool. Since the lil' spark plug is in your care, she's your responsibility."

Elisabeth walked another journey through the city. Seemed to be the only thing she did nowadays. Her mind wandered a bit with every step she took. Suddenly, she spotted a girl, running. But from what? Elisabeth focused a bit as her eyes scanned behind the young girl. It was some guy, who was quickly catching up to her. Mutant or not, it did not take a genius to see that he had ill plans in stored for her.
Elisabeth quickly sprinted between the girl and her pursuer, at least to slow him down.
“I don’t think so.”
Elisabeth quickly leaped into the air, doing a summersault onto his shoulders. In one quick motion, she pinned his head between her knees and pulled him onto the cemented ground backwards from his visual direction, head first. Was he dead? Did he crack his skull open? Elisabeth didn’t stick around to find out as she sprinted toward the young girl. By the way the girl was running, she probably didn’t notice her pursuer was no longer a threat.
As she maneuvered through the streets, Elisabeth scouted about in search of the girl. Although it was just a glance, she was sure that she would recognize her by seeing her once again.
