>>He didn't run like the blob did, but kept at a nice, fast walk through the blatantly obvious trail the thing left. The creature had just thought of escaping, leaving many a broken twig and trampled grass behind. It wasn't long before he saw it again, up ahead on the ground. He cursed under his breath. Damn thing must've hurt itself fleeing! And went into an easy jog<< Heeeyyy! Calm down! I'm not gonna eat you!

His slender ears pricked up a little, it was coming closer? He snorted, twisting and struggling more violently his eyes wide.. Until he heard the voice.. He swallowed grimacing just a little as he turned his head just a little to look over his shoulder where the voice had come from.. And whimpered.. Was that a panda..? They ate meat when they got the chance.. He made another soft distressed noise, wiping at the corner of one of his eyes. He was unsure as to whether he should believe the words the colourful thing spoke.. But it didn't really matter now either way, he had been caught, hadn't he..? "I don't kn-know that do I..?"

>>he slowed from his jog at the others soft voice, sighing. Coming closer, the male shook his head, tsking a bit<< Panda's don't eat horse. One, where panda's are, there's no horses. And two, horses are too fast for pandas to eat. Now take a few deep breathes before you give yourself a heart attack. >>He crouched down right beside the male, taking the entangled root on him and ripping it in half to free the other<< Are you okay?

The equine didn't dare to look at the panda in all honesty, not yet at least.. He had a scary amount of strength from what he had gathered, ripping the root up. He felt a little bad for the tree in hind-sight. He said that he didn't eat horses.. He wanted to trust him, he didn't often get the chance to make friends outside of his somewhat disfunctional 'herd', and soon his eyes were drifting sideways towards the panda again. He rested a hand up on his chest with a frown. Heart attack..? "Oh.." He said, seeing what the panda had meant.. His heart was still going a mile a minute, and he held his breath for a little while, though all too soon it had come rushing back out again in a hiss. "I'm sure.. Sure it''ll slow.. SLow down again in time.." The corner of his mouth twitched just a little as his eyes dared to drift a little further up to very briefly make eye contact with the other man before darting down again.

>>Had to be strong. Strong, fast...make up for the almost flamboyant highlights in his hair. The male straightened, dusting his hands off on his jeans<< Sorry about the scare. Was seeing if I could still sneak up on someone. You should be more careful, if I really had wanted to, you probably would be dead before you got the chance to bolt.

The equine tucked his legs up a little, rubbing at the ankle of the foot he had caught under the root through the thick leather of his long boots trying to ease the ache. He laid his ears back just a little at the other males words, leaning away from him a little. He made him uneasy, he evidently wasn't trying to quell the fears and uneasy feelings.. He was starting to feel that this sort of person would kill him for the fun of it.. He started to get up to his feet, a little wobbly, "I doubt that very much unless I had been injured.. Us equines wouldn't have lasted very long at all in the scheme of things if we'd let fat bears kill us at every oppertunity.." He frowned, speaking softly, as was normal to him. He never raised his voice.

Not even an equine can outrun a bullet. >>He spoke softly back, shaking his head<< Anyone with half a decent shot and a bit of hunting skill could have gotten you. Not much anyone can do in the face of guns. >>The male shook his head and started to turn, obviously about to go on his way again<< Anyhow, I'll leave you be now. Take care for fat bears

Briar frowned, keeping his eyes down, "Guns.. They always throw a spanner in the works.. It's cheat if your hunting.." He had no intention of stopping the panda if he was going to leave as he gingerly tested his foot then lifted it again swiftly, trying to tread down again and taking a small limping step. He held onto the rough bark of the tree and tried another step.. Not quite so bad, he sighed, but when he got home he's have to put ice on it. He shuddered, then endure being mothered by the shire horse. "Fat bear's haven't got a chance in hell.." He muttered as he took another step away from what he had decided was a fairly unsavoury character. "I don't see why you couldn't have said hello like any other person would have."

>>His ears flicked slightly, still sharp even after all the years of gunfire. He paused and looked back over to the horse, tilting his head slightly<< Testing. All skills grow dull unless you excersize them. Sure, animals are best at reacting, but anthros are smarter. But if it makes you feel better... >>The panda turned the rest of the way around, facing the male as he gave a mini salute<< hi.

The goth gave the panda a world weary look over his shoulder from his dark surrounded eyes, the many ear-rings clinking gently as he carefully rested his injured foot against the ground on the toes of the boot, like a horse at rest would. "It's a little late for that now, isn't it..?" He sighed, flicking his long tail to the side, out of the way of his feet. It didn't make him feel better, only mocked, and all too soon he hung his head, turning his face from the other anthro again. He'd never been good at confrontation, and he simply chose to stay quiet this time before he embarrassed himself, black painted fingernails digging gently into the bark of the tree he held onto.

Its never too late >>he sighed, rolled his eyes and walked back towards the male, shaking his head<< How far away do you live? >>The panda asked almost...softly? Nah. He just figured...in some odd way the thing getting itself hurt was his fault...better at least help. Sorta<<

Briar kept his head dipped, his face only fractionally hidden by his fairly short hair.. The braid didn't count.. He took a slightly shaky breath and pointed in the direction of the home he shared with the other anthros, "In that direction.. I'm not sure.. How f-far it is, far enough to run there." He turned his face just a little to see what the panda was up to, then a slightly frightened look crossed his features. He had just told him where he lived! Where his family was! Had that really been such a good idea? He squeezed his eyes shut. "I should never have gotten out of bed this morning.." He mumbled under his breath. It had been a truly rotten day for him so far. And he's chipped his nail-varnish which was bad enough, but he just knew that on top of it all his eyeliner and lipstick probably wanted adjusting. He must have looked a real fright. Tentatively he shifted again, cautiously touching his face to see if he could tell..

Welp... >>he reached out and caught the hand reaching towards the males face, ducking is head under the arm. The panda offered a bit of a half smile, the action sightly rougish<< we better get started then! Got a good way to go. >>Ratch made a movement to start in that direction, offering his support as if the horse was a wounded partner<<

Briar startled a little as his questing hand was grabbed and his arm tugged over the panda's hard shoulders. He moved to try and twist away from him before he realised what it was the other male was doing, and slowly he relaxed even going as far as offering the male an appreciative albeit slightly nervous smile. "Thank you.." He said quietly, letting the panda take some of his weight, though it had to be said, he wasn't a particularly heavy or tall person. He smiled just a little more, the black lips parting a little "After you..?" He gingerly took a small hobbling step in the right direction, before screwing his face up just a little in thought, "You never gave me your name, did you..?"

>>As the other realized what was going on and settled, the panda lightly took hold of the horses waist as well. Added support, since the male seemed so...light<< Don't mention it. >>The male started for the indicated place, going slow for the other<< And nope >>Then again, he didn't get the make-uped males name either<<
