Can you show us a picture of your clan's symbol?
Even though I love watching the show, I think Naruto is so innaccurate, bot historically and culturally.
I mean, what time period is the show set in? Ninjas do not have microwaves, power lines, and bulldozers! Yet, it looks like a feudal system. What state would have modern technology and not have a more modern form of government?
And for the cultural note: MY GOD! What self-respecting ninja runs around in a orange jumpsuit and a shiny headband? Ninjas are supposed to be sneaky, not noticeable.

Actually there are ninjas called 'guerilla ninjas' that run around in bright colors and shiny things to confuse people. My clan would never sink as low as doing that though, the lowest we sink is to have less expirienced ninjas just jump out of trees and bushes and attack randomly. But we only have a couple people do even that.

This is great. This ronin that myself and one other ninja are supposed to be training with broke his toe. And this happens right after that other ninja gets the cast off his leg. stare

It may look simple, but it is very complex in meaning. The colored parts are earth and fire, the uncolored parts being air and water. The symbol is held upright by the balance between these elements. It also shows that our manipulation of earth and fire style fighting techniques are superior to other element-based fighting styles.

It kind of looks like a coat of arms type of thing.

Naruto s funny in it's mix between both cultures and time periods.
I like to think of it as a partially Amish socity [sp?]
Amish in it's design and the way things are run, but
stil haves microwaves and the like.

Actually, they nailed all the info on spiritual refinement in that episode with the sand spirit.

I can actually get wooden book replicas that look exactly like books. Great for keeping things in.
So, the person who broke his toe, well, it healed. But yesterday he got jumped by three people when he was playing football. I was there, so I jumped out with two shuriken in each hand and yelled, "Who would like to continue fighting?" and two of them ran away. The last one kicked my friend in the ribs before I could get to him though. My friend is in the hospital right now, supposedly there's something wrong with his liver.
On a lighter note, I've been saving my money and I'll be getting seven more shuriken within a week.
