I'm so embarassed to say this, but I got into yaoi through the KunzitexZoisite pairing in SailorMoon. I'd researched the original Japanese eps. and had found out that they were both males, instead of male/female as the dub had said. I was like, " Wow, they're both males and they're in LOVE with EACH OTHER?! OMG, that's SO forbidden!" I grew to love the pairing BECAUSE it was forbidden. They were my first ever yaoi/shounen ai one true pairing, and I'll always have a special place in my heart for them. KunzitexZoisite forever! heart

Way back when FFN still allowed NC-17 fic, I stumbled onto a Goku/Vegeta PWP. My reaction was more or less 'WTF?' because it would take a much more involved fic to make me buy that--and then I found it.
I eventually graduated from gay Saiyajin porn to gay vampire porn. ;p

Well......Me stummbling into Yaoi was an accident. I was bored one night at like 11, and my most recent obession was Gundam Wing. I'd been into anime for about a year and a half by now. I typed in the name looking for fanfict (which a friend helped me get hooked on) and the sweetest stories came up. I never until recently, knew exactly how guys did it.... I thought it was like girls and stuff....anyways! That was what happen. Eerie Quierrie was my first shonen-ai, Gravitation (which it awesome, I've seen it all, read half of it) was my door to Yaoi. Then I got Fake and so forth. Now I'm 'bout 16 ish and I hord it in my room in a shoe box and converted most of all my friends into reading it. ^-^ They love it, I love it, and it scares the people I don't like. Everyone's happy. But I have vast knowledge of the books because I research them. I'm addicted. Me and my friends share our books also. ninja

My first incounter with yaoi was Gundam Wing pics. which lead to G-pg-13 fanfics which eventually lead to smutter things.

There was actually quite the complicated process from what I was then to what I am now. I found yaoi first through my friends. We were in high school and the Gundam Wing fandom had become huge thanks to Cartoon Network. They were very much into Heero/Duo and I was all, "Eh, whatever." Then we went to Otakon and we snuck in to watch Bronze (I was roped into it in case they were carding people because I was actually old enough to get in.) I was intrigued by the story and I thought it was hot. But I wasn't a slasher yet.
Then I rekindled my love of the A-Team when it started playing on TVLand and I went to find fanfiction. I found slash and found it quite interesting and quite hot. Still wasn't there yet though.
Then I went to see the 1st Harry Potter movie with my younger sister. I loved it and proceeded to go look for fanfiction. The first fanfic I read was Harry/Draco. I fell hard and was forever turned towards slash. I haven't looked back since.

Wow... that really takes me back... um... I think that my first encounter with yaoi was a Ryou/Bakura fic that I read... but the first actual yaoi series were Gravitation, Fake and Mirage of Blaze...

Well how i first came in contact with yaoi was when I was surfing on Quizilla for romance Naruto stories! When I found one with Rock Lee and Gaara I was inmediatly hooked! whee 3nodding
