DestineChaos Yeah... the reason they tool Lionel up on his offer is because Clark was kinda not exactly from Smallville and they didn't want any questions asked... Though you have to admit that Lionel is better now that he is trying to help Martha minus the fact that he went behind her back to see the tape

Though you have to admit that Lionel is better now that he is trying to help Martha minus the fact that he went behind her back to see the tape I would not so much as to say Lionel is "helping" Martha as he is manipulating her with his "advice" on some matters... I mean at this point I see him as a wolf in sheeps clothing... I don't know wether or not him buying the tape was a ploy to see what was on it or just a way to protect Clark since he is being used by Jor-El as a "gateway" to our world... after all he did use Clarks true name, Kal-El, while watching the tape and I don't think Lionel has been informed of that information...

See it is hard to say becuase he did once have a little "Crush" on Martha, even though they made it look like he was just trying to ger info about Clark, it sometimes seems as though Lionel really does care about her in an evil sort of way

`Chloe Sullivan` See it is hard to say becuase he did once have a little "Crush" on Martha, even though they made it look like he was just trying to ger info about Clark, it sometimes seems as though Lionel really does care about her in an evil sort of way Yeah neutral though I think he does like Martha... and now that Jon' is gone she is free game. Which is also a scenario I'm running through my head...

I didnt trust Jason at first but i didnt have a problem with him until later...i dont really like Lana that much shes too whiny...lately shes been different though.

In season 3 they changed her character a bit to make her seem more mature however she turned out being more all about me than anything else...

She showed Chloe Clark's secret because she thought with Chloe being a reporter and all that she would want to get a big break in exposing her. True, becuase that's when she was being framed and everyone thought that she was guilty because she was a "meteor freak" and she thought that if she exposed Clark people would stop alienating her for being differant... I was thinking about Unsafe (the episode right before Pariah) where she had gotten shot by Dr. McBride, when she telliported infront of Clark. Unsafe Clark- Alicia, why did you do that. You know I could have caught that bullet. Alicia- Because I promised you that I'd always protect your secret I forgot about the sand guy all togeather >.< -waps his head on the desk- but still as said before, she died as do all who are not super heros or main charactors...

Well she didn't die willingly. She was murdered. So technically she wasn't protecting anyone. but as for the Unsafe part, i see your point. just when you said that Alicia "died protecting Clarks secret" i assumed you were talking about Pariah....when she died

I got those episodes mixed up and forgot about Phariah all togeather, It was a brain fart on my part mostly. So true she didn't die protecting his secret since she was trying to expose him in Phariah and since she was murdered... But in the end it only proves everyone except main characters and "heros" die if they find out Clarks secret... as said before.

...*think over* well not necessarily. not everyone who finds out Clark's secret dies. All of his enemies in Belle Reve have seen what he could do, not all of them. so lets revise and say that everyone except Main characters and future or potential "heroes" die after finding out Clark's secret OR are heavily instituted, or move away. Because Vengeance just kind of went away...
