As Kyrin heard Draven's voice at the door, she sat up. She was actually surprised as to who it was, some part of her was hoping that it would be James. Although she was a little disappointed, Ky didn't really mind, for she and Draven had come a long way since they had met. Kyrin actually was coming to terms with men since she realized that she would never have an all women mafia. It was a slow process but she knew that she need the men to be there.
"Yeah." Kyrin said, lightly. Osiris shifted on the floor, but made no move to get up, he was happy there. Kyrin sighed, she figured that she had made a fool of herself and he was going to be the first to tell her. She looked up at him through pale blue eyes. She was after all still a girl, and she still wasn't really mature enough to consider all her actions before doing them. Even still, she wouldn't begin to see fault in herself, she was taught it was a weakness, because if one couldn't trust themself, then they could trust no one else either.

As Draven entered the room, he shut the door behind him. What he was going to say, Draven didn’t entirely want people listening to him, “Lady Kyrin, are you okay”, he said trying to mask the concern in his voice with professional mannerisms, it failed quite horribly. Draven had an automatic sexual attraction to Kyrin when he first met her, although that was it. Over time, he had slowly began to enjoy her company, and her seeing her back down from a fight, either verbal or physical worried him.
His wanted to go sit and comfort her, but Draven despite his manliness and overall large size, he was still afraid of the large cat lying on the floor. His eyes quickly fanned over it, then he shrugged in his mind, it would of already attacked me if it cared that much.

Kyrin watched Draven enter, and as he shut the door behind him, she gave him somewhat of a questioning look. At his question she stood and nodded, giving the impression that she hadn't second guessed herself or what she had done. "I figured I need to cool off." She said, her voice was low but not hard to hear. She smirked at him, "Worried about me?" She asked. It wasn't something that she had figured would happen. She used to be worried about when she was in Han's mafia, but that was because she was Han's daughter and if people didn't worry over her, then there would be consequences.
Kyrin stepped close to Draven. He was rather good looking, but she hadn't felt a strong attraction to him. She looked into his eyes and said, "You don't need to worry about me. I can take care of myself." Kyrin didn't know why she was explaining herself to him, it was something she hadn't done for a long while... tell someone that she was fine and didn't need anyones help. She honestly believed that she could handle everything herself, but what she couldn't see was that without Craig, or even James around, she would likely end up doing things that she would regret later. Kyrin was tense, she still hadn't calmed herself down, and explaining herself made her feel out of sorts.

Draven looked Kyrin in the eye, his acid green orbs showing much more about his emotions that he wanted, “of course, I worry about you”, he said, his voice barely above a whisper. He heard her second comment and couldn’t think of a emotional and thoughtful way to put it, “If you could take care of yourself, I wouldn’t be here”, he winced as he said that regretting the words, he quickly bit down on his bottom lip and braced for the repercussions of his action. Draven’s thoughts whirled within his head, what am I doing in here! I can’t have any feelings for this woman… or can I? Oh god, I’m so confused.
Before he could think more his arms were already moving, each one resting on one of Kyrin’s shoulders. His eyes were slightly glassy, but the emotion that had been there had retreated in fear of Kyrin’s anger.

At Draven's words Kyrin became confused, "If I could take care of myself, you wouldn't..." She trailed off in her words as he put his arms around her. Her first reaction, was that of confusion. She pushed him away and backed up. "Um.." She normally wasn't one to get confused easily, but this was the second time in the same half hour that a man had put his arms around her; a man that wasn't Craig. She missed him, but she couldn't say that she didn't like getting attention. She wasn't, however, ready for this kind of attention from Draven.
She took a deep breath and looked at him. He'd startled her, but for some reason she wasn't mad. This whole situation was making Kyrin a little anxious, and she wasn't sure what to do. She felt like she was being weak. Having backed a few steps away from Draven now, Kyrin couldn't think of any words to say. She hoped that he would explain this to her, before it really began to bug her.

With a look a pain Draven put his arms down, he’d never been rejected before and he thought he’d steeled his heart enough to never feel such things. It felt as if he’d been hit in the gut many times then ate some rotten eggs. He just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry, but he couldn’t let Kyrin see how much that action hard hurt me, “Lady Kyrin”, he started not quite knowing what to say, Daren had helped him a few times on his interactions with women, but they didn’t seem to be helping.
Draven let out his breath, he opened his mouth again but still didn’t know what to say, he just stood there looking at her, his eyes becoming moist, “K-Kyrin, I don’t know how to say this but…” he turned his back to her, losing the courage he’d managed to work up.

Kyrin looked at Draven, she couldn't comprehend what she was seeing. She saw that she had hurt him, and that simple fact made her more anxious. What the hell just happend? She wondered. Ky couldn't understand how he could go from treating her strictly as a boss figure to making a move on her. Toying with her hair, she wished that she knew what to say, but she was at a loss for words.
As she saw his eyes begin to tear up, Kyrin moved near him. Walking around to the front of him, Kyrin said, "I'm sorry...? She still didn't understand what was going on.

There was a loud knock on the door that seemed to shatter the silence. A cheerful voice behind the door called to Kyrin." Kyrin! Are you hungry? Umm, I made some sandwishes if you'd like one!" Opening the door he came upon the akward scene. Looking from one person to the other, he realized that he probably interupted something serious. " Uh, uhmmm... S-sorry!"Quietly, he placed the plate down with a clank onto the dresser by the door and creaked the door to halfway shut before walking away embarassed.

Draven looked at Nori in shock and almost horror has he quickly fled from the room, leaving Kyrin alone. He couldn’t bear to tell her how he felt, damn it you fool, you should have never broken down like that! He scolded himself. Draven moved to his room and hesitated, then walked in using his nimble fingers to set the impromptu lock he had put on it, also known as a chair. He sat on the bed and wept freely, his shoulders bobbing in rhythm with the sobs, “why was I such a fool” he said aloud.

Kyrin saw Nori come in, place something in the room and then leave, but she hadn't heard what the girl said as she watched Draven flee from the room. She had never known a man to act that way. The whole situation had thrown her off. Pulling her hands through her hair again, Kyrin looked at the sandwich that Nori had left. It was really nicely made, but Ky just wasn't hungry.
She took the plate and placed it on the floor. The sandwich was full of meat and she was sure that Osiris would eat it if he felt like it. Sitting on the floor next to the large sleeping cat, she pet him absently.

James sighed. He wanted Draven to leave, he wanted time to just talk to Kyrin. He had to make sense of this all. He paused the music blaring loud from his headphones and paced the room some, threading his hands in his hair, sighing deep. Shutting up the inner monologue of doubt and loathing was proving more difficult when he couldn't just go out and drink until he forgot. He wasn't going to let himself do that anymore, that was one of the self imposed restrictions of this little runaway. He stripped layers until he was in just his jeans and an old t-shirt with some music logo on it, and leaned back against the door. Oh to hell with it, go see if the other one's gone and talk to her already. For once, he agreed with the inner monologue, and he took the few steps to Kyrin's door, knocking softly. "Kyrin?"

Kyrin heard James' voice at the door and muttered softly, "Come in." The door was still half open how Nori had left it, and Ky looked at James from her spot on the floor. She continued to pet Osiris, not knowing how much more she could take today. Everything was making her actually want to shoot something, if not just to get out some of her anxiety.
Her dark blue hair fell in her face as she began to play with the carpet on the floor. The moment she saw James, she remembered the feel of his arms around her waist. This then reminded her of Draven's arms on her shoulders. Ky decided that she really needed to stop thinking about it, or make friends with a girl who she could tell all of this too. Oh Felix... where are you? She thought longingly.

"Are you alright?" He stepped into the room, shutting the door softly behind him. He sat beside her, comfortable as he had been when they were children, and turned to look at her. "I just worried a little after that explosion downstairs, and, you know..." He let himself trail off, smiling slightly. Kyrin always had the ability to make him more relaxed, and this time her mere presence quieted the inner monologue.

Kyrin looked at James, with lost eyes. "I don't know what's going on." She said softly. As much as she wanted to lie to James and tell him that everything was okay, and that she could take care of herself,...she couldn't. She couldn't lie to James. "And some how I made a man cry." This confused her more then anything else.
Looking to James, Kyrin hoped that he would have some answers. He always seemed more level headed then she did. The only problem was that everytime she looked at him, her mind went back to his touch. She sighed and shook the thought from her mind. "What the hell is going on...?" She asked quietly.

"Life, my friend. Life is whats going on." He smiled wryly, cynical. He put one arm around her shoulders, sitting close. "Fortunately, I think this should all blow over soon." That part he didn't believe himself, but he figured it might help her a little. He was very good at pretending to be an optimist, when it came down to it. And really, anything to make Kyrin feel better.
